SD Document Cateogry

hi,
I am bit confused about the SD document category for cancellation invoice type, which i am using for cancellation of service invoice.
Regards
Ankur

If it is service invoice or normal invoice, invoice cancellation is the same process (aeither VF11 Transaction or VF02 also).
Invoice cancellation document type is S1 and  document category is N.

  • Multiple credit memo creation for single credit memo request

    Hello,
The problem is that I am able to repeatedly create multiple credit memos for the same credit memo request.  The system is not stopping me by saying "This order is fully invoiced".
I observed the following in the customizing:
    1. If the sales document category of the billing document (in VOFA transaction) is 6 (Intercompany credit memo), then I am able to create mulitiple credit memos against the same credit memo request.
    2.  When I change the sales document category of the billing document to O (credit memo), then the system stops me from creating multiple credit memos against the same credit memo request.
If I want to maintain 6 (intercompany credit memo) in VOFA and still want the system to stop me from creating multiple credit memos for the same credit memo request, then is there is any other customizing to achieve this?
    Thanks,
    Shankar

Shankar, most likely the billing status of your sales document is not updated. We have experienced the same (or similar?) issue with the intercompany documents and SAP refused to correct it. Here is a fragment of my message exchange with the SAP support:
We have already read the notes 63459 and 308989. They both do not apply
to our business process. The document flow mentioned in the notes is as
    follows:
Sales order - customer billing document - intercompany billing document
    Our document flow is different:
Contract - customer billing document - Intercompany sales order (could
be more than one order per customer billing document) - intercompany
    billing document
The order-related billing status is not being updated on the
    Intercompany sales order.
The process described in the notes implies one-to-one relationship
between the customer and inter-company billing documents and the sale
from a Plant that is assigned to another company. We are in the service
industry and sometimes the sale revenue has to be shared by 2-4
    companies within our enterprise.
Good day. It is a standard system behaviour that if the billing document type has SD document cateogry '5' (field TVFK-VBTYP in transaction
VOFA). So it is an intercompany billing.
The order-related billing status VBUP-FKSAA is not affected by the
    intercompany billing.
So its billing status remains opened, and can be billed more times.
This doesn't seem right to me. Maybe if more customers complain, they will do something about it.
To some extent this may be managed with copy requirements (VOFM), where you can prevent copying the credit memo line items that have been invoiced. However, this might still lead to the blank documents with 0 value, statuses won't be correct and in VF04 you would see the documents as not invoiced.
I had to do a core modification to resolve this issue in our system. In LV45P011 include I did the following:
    * Faktura
    *{   REPLACE        DC6K903001                                        1
    *\  IF vbfa-vbtyp_n CA vbtyp_fakt AND vbfa-vbtyp_n NA vbtyp_fkiv.
      IF vbfa-vbtyp_n CA vbtyp_fakt.
    *}   REPLACE
    Hope this helps.

can anybody revert where i am missing the configuration. what additional i need to do to get out this error.

    Hello,
I also faced similar problem with posting cross company transacation whereby one of the document containing another Customer/Vendor line item which is not the intercompany clearing account. Both the additional Vendor/Customer and the Intercompany Vendor/Customer line items failed to derive the Profit Center information from the offsetting line items. The system recognize the Customer/Vendor line items (additional and Intercompany clearing) as "Leading Items" instead of derivating.
    The journal looks like below.
    CoCd A
    dr. GL Account        [PC-A]   100
cr. ICT Vendor-B                   (100)   --> successfully deriving the [PC-A] information
    CoCd B
dr. ICT Customer-A                  100      --> recognized as "Leading item", failed to derive PC-B
cr. Customer                         (100)   --> recognized as "Leading item", failed to derive PC-B
    dr. GL Account       [PC-B]    100
    cr. GL Account       [PC-B]    (100)
The GL Account in CoCd B are registered under Item Category "01000" and it has been registered as the splitting base item for the "ICT Customer-A" and "Cusomer" accounts.
Would really appreciate your kind help or suggestion to solve this issue.
    Thanks a lot in adavance!

  • Error while resetting a cleared document

    Hi everyone,
I am getting an error while resetting a cleared invoicing document 'Document xxxxxxxxxxx with origin R4 can not be reversed'. Please guide me how can we reset the clearing of this document.
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi,
You need to reset all clearing for the corresponding FICA document for the print document.
Reset the clearing for the document no. mentioned in the output for EA13 execution.
You need to reset all the clearing for the document, before reversing the same.
To get all the clearing document, go to DFKKOP table, enter the FICA document no. (for the print document on FPL9). Get all AUGBL documents,
Alternatively, you can go on to FPL9 screen, double click on the consumption document, in the basic data you will see the clearing date (if it is cleared), expand the view their (click on + sign), you will se the clearing document no,
Pass the above clearing document no, to FP07, and once all the clearing is reset for the invoice, you can reverse the corresponding invoice through EA13.

  • I can't save downloads to documents folder, only to desktop...

Only desktop saves are allowed.  The message states, "Word cannot save or create this file.  This disk may be full or write protected..." The disk isn't full, so I'm not sure what to do.  I'm having to save everything to the desktop and then move files into document folders in Finder.  Any advice on how to save directly to documents or what may be wrong?   Thanks so much!.

    Back up all data now.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
    Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. You can demote it back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
    sudo chflags -R nouchg,nouappnd ~ $TMPDIR.. ; sudo chown -R $UID:20 ~ $_ ; chmod -R -N ~ $_ 2> /dev/null
Be sure to select the whole line by triple-clicking anywhere in it. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. You don't need to post the warning. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
    Step 2
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Utilities ▹ Terminal from the menu bar. A text window opens.
In the Terminal window, type this:
    resetpassword
That's one word with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window opens. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
Select  ▹ Restart from the menu bar.

  • Downloads to documents folder fail due to parallel upload

Hi, mobile documents is a great tool that I use to replicate all business relevant documents to mobile clients. However there is one great disadvantage for me. When you download a file that is a bit larger (>1 MB), during the download the client will already start uploading the temporary file. So the download then fails as it cannot convert the temporary file into the final one.
This is something that does not happen for equivalent clients (for example skydrive). Do you think this is something that can be fixed?
    thanks,
    Heiko

    Hi Heiko,
    Let me explain again:
You said "uploader locks the file so that it can no longer be changed". For the temporary file it is the downloader which have locked the file. Hence, the impression that file is getting uploaded because it is locked is hence not correct.
The next version might be available in Q1\Q2 2014. We will keep everyone updated via community.

  • How do I use the Japanese fonts in Font Book in a Pages document?

How does one use the Japanese fonts in Font Book in a Pages document. Pages has its own fonts but I cannot get the Japanese fonts into it.

To type japanese on a computer you change the keyboard, not the font.  Go to system prefs/keyboard/input sources and add Japanese/Kotoeri to the list, then select Hiragana in the "flag" menu at the top right of the screen, then type.  The font will take care of itself.

I need to convert PDF file to Word Document, so it can be edited. But the recognizing text options do not have the language that I need. How I can convert the file in the desired of me language?

The application Acrobat provides no language translation capability.
If you localize the language for OS, MS Office applications, Acrobat, etc to the desired language try again.
Alternative: transfer a copy of content into a web based translation service (Bing or Google provides a free service).
Transfer the output into a word processing program that is localized to the appropriate language.
    Do cleanup.

  • Payment Program Document not automatically Cleared

    Hi,
We created payments through F110 payment program and the vendor invoices were paid on 14th October.
We then ran the program again on 31st October and the same invoices were paid again.
We use the payment list to manually pay the telegraph transfer.
On investigation I can see the the payment document for the one on the 14th didnt automatically create a clearing document and is still open.
Can anyone tell me how this would not clear down and how to check for such errors if they seem to go through the payment program ok.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I could look into Tolerance Groups are proper set for the Company Codees. If the Tolerance Groups are not set properly, it would stop from clearing the documents.
I also hope you have set the config. steps proper in FBZP.

  • Possible to clear vendor open item against already posted payment document?

    Hi
Can you advise if it is possible to clear an open item against already posted payment/clearing doc? Here is the background to the scenario:
An invoice was posted with transaction FB60. This was subsequently picked up in the payment run F110 and cleared by payment document number 200005678. The item went to the bank on the paymnet file and was paid out to the vendor. The transaction reference, which appeared on the incoming bank statemnet was the payment document number 200005678.
Subsequently it was discovered that the original invoice should have been posted with reference to a PO using MIRO. The requirement now is to reverse the paymnet documnet 200005678 in SAP, then reverse the document that was posted using FB60. After this the invoice will be posted using MIRO. This will create an open item on the vendor account.
This item will not be piad out again. Therefore the requirement is to try clear that open item against the previously posted payment document 200005678.
Is there any way to clear this vendor open item against the originally posted payment document 200005678?? Or any other advice on how this scenario can be handled in SAP?
    Thank for your help.
    Mike

    Hi,
I tried that option in our test system. I ran FBRA and entered Paymnet Documnet Number (+Clearing Doc Number), Company Code, Fiscal Year.
Then chose menu option Clearing -> Reset Cleared Items.
The system pops up a window asking for a reversal reason and reversal date.  I use 01 and posting date of today.
The system now posts another cleared document. That document places the invoice as an open item on the vendor account. It does not place the Payment Document as an open item on the account.
When I go to F-44 only the open vendor invoice is showing there. There is no open paymnet document.
Is there perhaps some configuration setting that stops the placement of the paymnet document as an open item when reset?
    Thanks for your help again.

  • Reset Cleared Documents and Vendor Open Items Report FBL1N

    Hi all,
    I have following scenario:
    - In last month, we had 2 documents (invoice and payment) cleared against each other. We created open items report as well as open items correspondence sent to Vendor. Obviously, the docs were not included in report.
    - In this month, we have reset and reverse clearing document of the documents. We create report again with the open key date as in last month. It should not include the 2 docs but it did with whichever key date we chose.
Is there any setting that open item report doesn't include cleared item at the key date when we run report for previous month?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Dau

    Hi Dau,
If i understand you correctly then you posted and paid invoice in Jan 2012 and generated the open line item report for Jan which correctly did not include this cleared invoice.
Now in Feb 2012 you reset and reversed this payment document.
The issue is when you execute the report FBL1N again then you get the open line item for this invoice correct. Please confirm what is the open item key date that you are using here for generating this report
If you keep it 31.01.2012 then definetly this invoice should not appear in the report but if you keep that 29.12.2012 then this line item would for sure appear.
The importance of key date is to limit the report to certain date. The system selects all items posted up to and including the specified key date and open for this period.
so I think your issue is with the key date.
    Hope this helps you.
    Regards,
    Prasad
