Security passlock should impose on power off system because once the iphone is lost and the theft could not power off the iphone easily thus we still get a chance to locate our iphone
As we all concern about our iphone location once it is not within our capability to reach. "Find my iphone" is a very good features for finding lost phone but once the iphone is being power off by the third party, the features would render useless. Therefore, I strongly suggest the passlock system should be intact together with the power off system. We spend a lot of time to unlock our screen for the security purpose why not the power off button? It would not that as much as time for us to power off but it increase the security purpose. Thank you

Connect your devices to the computer with the USB cable (one device at a time) and import the photos via iPhoto or Image Capture.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Good, thank you in advance for help. My Iphone 5 agency was left red battery and asked me a software update from settings, the update could not begin, I think, because there was no connection. I turned off the device to get to recharge my house and arrest him and get me a stick in red appeared and requested connection and immediately connected it via the USB cable to the PC, Windows Vista, and no progress bar. With iTunes open connect iPhone to the PC. In the Top Menu of iTunes at the end select Help, scroll down to near bottom, select "Run Diagnositics..." Perform all the simple tests and follow the help.

Trying to connect to a remote database which worked in 10.1.3 developer preview gives now:

From sqlplus I can connect. I don't have access to the remote database server/configuration. I tried the workarounds specified here

ojdbc14dms.jar ojdbc14.jar
from jdeveloper and copied ojdbc14_g.jar from Oracle 10g release1 (renamed it to ojdbc14.jar). Then it worked.Hi,

Hi, I updated to 10.5 iTunes. I have a PC running Win 7. I have an iPhone 4.
After updating to the new iOS5, and the attendant iTunes update, now iTunes crashes - a lot - and then won't exit when I click the X. I have to force quit it. Then, it restarts itself a couple minutes later! WITHOUT me plugging in my iPhone! Plus it states it "could not connect to the iPhone because an unknown error has occurred."
This is a brand new fresh install of Win 7 - literally 4 days old; nothing fancy on it.
Anybody else having this problem? I've googled this for a while and can't seem to find any answers. It's getting really annoying!!

I have had my iMac for 55 days now and twice I had to power off/on and then It does not power up correctly. I verified my disk and found errors that could not be repaired (errors were associated with boot drive) I erased the drive and restored system back to the previous day. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Since it's a new machine, contact Apple's Support and let them deal with it. Allen's already recommended an Apple repair station visit. Do note that if you have AppleCare's protection plan and you're within 50 miles (80 KM) of an Apple repair station, you might be eligible for an onsite repair since yours is a desktop machine (depends on where you're located). BTW, the AppleCare Protection Plan's the best warranty policy available for desktop machines. Get it if you don't have it before contacting Apple.

I share an Apple ID with someone but we are now on iOS8 and getting each others messages on our iphones and ipad. How can I split the account safely as well as protect icloud backed up data?
Use different Apple IDs for iMessage (and also FaceTime) to avoid getting each others text messages (and FaceTime calls). One of you should go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive (and Settings>FaceTime), tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. You can continue to shared the same ID for the iTunes store and other services.

I dropped my iphone 5 in the water, its dead and when I try to charge it the apple logo comes and goes, thats my only sign of life, I've done many after market repairs but what I want to know is if I should replace the ligntning port or the battery... or just buy a galaxy s5?
If you dropped it in water, and then plugged it in, you may very well have destroyed the battery and/or the logic board. Charging/plugging in to a power source is very damaging to wet electronic devices. There is not much you can do but replace the entire iPhone...and since you did repairs yourself Apple will not do an out-of-warranty replacement.
You can try replacing the battery, the lightning port is another issue, but I would not expect that iPhone to work again. -
I have an IPhone 5. The screen flashes bright blue, then B & W snow, then makes a short hissing sound and shuts off. It did it 3-4 times and now it will not turn on. Should I try to have it serviced or replace it?
Get it looked at by visiting an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Provider. If you can't, contact Apple Support to get it serviced.

The little lock has nothing to do with speaker volume. It means you have locked the rotation on your iPhone.
