Sedurity exception starting a server

I am getting the following security exception when trying to start a server. Can
anyone help me understand what could be causing this? We have this server working
in other environments but it doesn't work in this one case and we can't see what
the difference might be. We have reimaged this environment to be (we think) exactly
like all the others.
Thanks in advance, Sue

The default authorization provider was not able to connect to the embedded ldap
server. LDAPException result code 49 indicates invalid credentials. Are you running
a cluster of servers? Are you using default embedded ldap configuration?

  • Exception starting managed server

    Hi All,
    I installed and configured WLS 8.1. I also configured nodemanager and everything
    was working fine. Then I added some classpath parameters and now I had to restart
    the managed server so that the classpath changes will be applied. Here I started
    getting the following exception and the managed server is not starting at all.
    [The request to start the server myServer of domain mydomain failed because the
    node manager did not hear from the managed server in the configured timeout period.
    Despite this, if the managed server has not failed, it will come up and the node
    manager will start monitoring it. To adjust this timeout so that the task does
    not fail prematurely, please refer to the node manager property ScavangerDelaySeconds
    (Default value : 180 seconds. Current value : 180 seconds).]
    I also verified that nodemanager is working fine.
    Thanks

    I'm removing and then reinstalling with auto-update turned off the error seemed to happen after I did an update.
    Anyway to gracefully shutdown the Mobile Server? This is on windows I'm wondering if "crashing" out of it may have caused the issue also.

    Bharathi;
    The error indicates that a trigger is being executed. OSM DB schema does not make use of triggers at all. Has anyone added triggers to the OSM DB schema? If so this should not be done - modification or direct access of the OSM DB schema is not supported.

  • Exception starting server when using wlserver Ant task

    Hello All:
    When attempting to start my server using the wlserver Ant task, i receive the following error:
    [wlserver] java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: weblogic/Server
    [wlserver] Exception in thread "main"

    my snippet is as follows:

    </target>
    It seems as if it should work fine. Anybody have any solutions? Thanks in advance.
    Ricky

    Ricky,
    You have to add the weblogic JARs to the classpath of the wlserver task.
    add something similar to the following (bold text are additions):
    <path id="classpath.weblogic">
    <fileset dir="c:/bea/weblogic81/server/lib">
    <include name="weblogic_sp.jar" />
    <include name="weblogic.jar" />
    <include name="webserviceclient.jar" />
    </fileset>
    </path>
    <target name="start-server">

    port="7001" username="weblogic" domainname="mydomain" password="weblogic"
    servername="myserver" action="start" classpathref="classpath.weblogic"/>

    Hi
    (It was me and Berit that sent the original question).
    After some experimentation we saw that the managed server did get
    some configuration from the admin server, so the problem was in
    there somewhere.
    I had added an (empty) cluster and machine to the admin server, just
    to test adding. When I removed them everything worked fine afterward.
    So it was some kind of configuration error from our side, but we never
    did find out what it was.
    I guess the lesson is to only define things when you really need them :-)
    Regards
    Mikael

    I don't believe that you can use the same server definitions for both an admin server and a managed server. So, you'll need to create a second server that is your managed server with a different name or
    just run with the admin server.

    We are using J2EE 620 pl26, with the latest JCO, but often trying to acces the J2EE services like Mobile Engine Webconsole 21 or the WebEnabled Sapconsole 640 we recive the message:

    We do not find any Oss notes for that.

    Hi Mauro,
    normally when you apply a new SAP Kernel a frfclib.sar file is delivered. This frfclib file need to be copied to the J2EE directory /os_libs and need to be extracted there. This frfclib version must always match to the SAP Kernel version.

    PS:Sorry for my spaghetti-english :D

    I had similar issue and i got rid of it by doing the following:
    i. Start rmiregistry from the server code (so that the JVM remains the same) like this
    // Server.java
    Process pro = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("rmiregistry 1099 &");
    // ... ii. Use java.rmi.server.codebase property while starting the server
    D:\rmiEx\bin>java -Djava.rmi.server.codebase=file:/D:\rmiEx\bin example.hello.Server

    Hi,
    The problem is as mentioned in the subjet.
    In console-servers-soa server - server start - arguments , I have entered

    When i try to start the server, I get this in the log:

    When i tried the below cmd from my soa server console,
    wget www.yahoo.com
    I get proper response.
    oracle@server:/data/oracle/domains/soau_domain/servers/soa_server01_01/logs> wget www.yahoo.com

    So looks like proxy server is reachable from soa server.
    Can anyone help me with where this could be getting wrong?
    Thanks
    Ganesh

    java.net.ProtocolException: unrecognized response from proxy: 'HTTP/1.1 403 ForbiddenThis looks like that the proxy is expecting an username from soa server for authentication and you have not configured soa server to send the username/password to authenticate at the proxy server. I am not sure if soa server has a way to specify username/password for proxy authentication, but a workaround we used to do in an earlier version of OSB ( ALSB 2.5, where there was no provision to specify proxy authentication crdentials) was to add the URL's you want to access via proxy, to the 'proxy-free-list' of the proxy server. A proxy wont prompt for username/password for accessing an URL which is in its 'proxy-free-list'.

  • Unable to lookup the ServerLifeCycleRunTimemBean exception when try to start managed server

    I have two domains, FRDomain and NewServer2.  I can startup all servers on FRDomain, including newly created non-default servers.  For xyzDomain, I can start up the admin server, but none of my other managed servers.  When I try, I get

    Hi, the topology of th network ist the next:
    ISP (DATACENTER) ->  SRV1 (phisical) +  SRV2 &SRV3 (virtual)
    Every one of them have 2 NIC  ( for server  2 and 3  - virtual  too)
    NIC1 - operates on private level -  192.168.1.1 dns, gate,dc (srv1)
    NIC2 - real ip address, gate - gateway of ISP  dns - 192.168.1.1
    When set up NIC1 - everything is ok .
    NIC2 - action is : set ip and mask - enable without gate  - then it is in unidentified status  and  go in public state.
    disable nic2, set up gateway  - and dns - 192.168.1.1  and again enable - everything is ok
    But after restart  - nic2 - goes again in Domainauthenticated mode. :(
    Additional:
    On srv2 - i put RRAs role and smthing stange is that after enable rras service - all ports are shutted and machine pretendet to be invisible.
