Seeburger AS2 comm channel problem (B2B) - "perhaps AS2ID missing"

Hi guys!
We try to configure B2B scenario using Seeburger AS2, but communication channel monitor returns error:
Error type: COMPONENT_ERROR,NOT_TRANSMITTED >> Error date: 9/25/07 10:05 AM >> Description: AS2 Adapter failure Outbound configuration error: Sender configuration incomplete - perhaps AS2ID missing.. com.seeburger.as2.AS2Plugin.execute(AS2Plugin.java:321) [9/25/07 10:05 AM]
We're not sure about the scenario configuration and using identifiers (cos' this is probably the problem).
Did someone of u already configured Seeburger AS2?
We have configured in receiver party alternative identifier Seeburger - AS2ID, however, the message sent to target has always agency XI and scheme XIParty. It should be probably Seeburger and AS2ID (the alternative one).

Yes, we use it on receiver side.
ModuleProcessorExitbean exists, so it should be ok.
What I'm not sure about is the thing with identifiers..
In Party (let's call it X) - Identifiers, we have default agency http://sap.com/xi/XI, scheme XIParty and name X.
What values should be there for Seeburger?
We have Agency: Seeburger, Scheme: AS2ID; Name: X.
Is it correct?
We also received some 9 char long number - probably some ID to adapter(?). Any idea, if it is necessary and where to use it?
Is it necessary to configure identifier seeburger also in Identifiers tab of Receiver communication channel? Or we can leave it empty (both- sender, receiver)?
We use this in B2B scenario, of course: Target system is party, but we use our R/3 as Business System w/o party. Is it ok, or do we laso have to "be" as Party in our configuration scenario?

We have an PI 7.11 system. Our scenario is outbound IDOC to AS2 (converted to EDIFACT). It is from R/3 --> PI --> Third Party. We installed SeeBurger adapters.
R/3 is in our landscape, its component created without Party.
Receiver is a Third Party. So its component created with Party. In party we have defined Agency and Scheme Name as "Seeburger", "AS2ID", "XXX".
We also have done Receiver Agreement Header Mapping only for Receiver Communication Party and Receiver Communication Component.
When we try to send a message, getting below error at audit log.
Our Sender system is R/3, therefore we cant define a Party for it. What should be resolve this issue?

I have one AS2 scenario with this error and 20 other scenarios working fine.
full cache refresh is done, but did not solve the problem.

Have you ever got a similar error? Seems to be a configuration error of the adapter installation itself rather than a problem with configuration objects or the receiver channel.

Please provide info if there is a need for any Sender agreement in case we select "Synchronous" mode for MDN and Handle Received MDn as "NoAction".
I am also getting the below error for my scenario (IDOC --> XI --> AS2)

Seeburger As2 Receiver channel exception for large files

Hello Folks,
We have JMS to seeburger AS2 interface we are facing follwing issue in As2 reciver channel for files larger than 20 MB.But In Production it is wokring fine for even 40 MB also.
Delivering the message to the application usingconnection AS2_http://seeburger.com/xi failed, due to:

The problem would be related to server size. genrally test system do not have same sizing as production server due to that you can not process large files in test system.
check the sizing of the system.

Outbound Seeburger AS2 setup problem

Hello,
I am trying to setup Seeburger AS2 adapter in the way that I can post documents from our SAP system to the external server that is sitting in the internet. I was following the SAPXI30_AS2Adapter.pdf guide but it is still not working. When I initiate the posting in SAP it goes correctly to XI, XI correctly process the IDOC and maps it to XML document and pass it to AS2 adapter. But here it fails. In adapter monitoring I can see this error message:

I think I've setup everything correctly so no idea where can be the problem. It is saying that I probably do not have AS2ID setup but it is either not true or I do not know how to do it.

Solved on my own:
I really didn't have sender configuration completed. I've created new Party, configured it as AS2, created AS2ID for it etc. and then forced it as a sender in the Receiver Agreement.

Seeburger AS2 403 error

I've already seen [this posting |SEEBURGER AS2: 403 Forbidden #; and my AS2 scenario is working properly as long as I have a single channel.
The wrinkle is that I need to add a second AS2 channel for the same trading partner. The second adapter is needed to allow for message transofmration, this must be done in the sender channel since the receiver channel is an idoc channel, which does not allow for transformation.
Is it possible, if so how, to set up two unique Seeburger AS2 sender channels to receive messages from a single trading partner, and to apply message transformation in one of those channels and not the other.

It is not possible to have the same channel twice for the same trading partner.
But you can use the "skipExecution" parameter and an expression, to evaluate if you need to run the conversion or not.
Do you receive different message types from one partner in the same AS2 channel?
And some of them need to be converted while others need no conversion?

Seeburger AS2 Sender : EOIO

Hi All,
Is it possible to achieve EOIO with Seeburger AS2 sender channel? I am not seeing any parameter for configuring the same (though it has EOIO mode for split mapping).
The idea is to send all the messages received for a particular interface to be routed to a EOIO queue. Is this possible with AS2 sender channel?

I have tried your suggestion

parameter name "QoS" value "EOIO" and
for name "QueueName" value "<your actual queue name>"
but it didn't help. If I use with "write", there was no entry in MONI, and if I use it with "insert" the entries were created but it didn't go to the EOIO queue (as the SAP:QualityOfService is still ExactlyOnce in SoapHeader->ReliableMessaging)

I have to put in place a scenario for message reicipt of EDI messages via Internet using AS2 on http.
We use the seeburger AS2 adapter.
I try to configure the AS2 sender adapter, but there are many options, which I do not know how to fill, and which aint documented either.
I use the following config:

Message Protocol:AS2
Adapter Engine: Integration Server
AS2 Authentification neccessary: When do I have to set this?
Message Title: *
Asynchronous MDN configuration
SSL certificate alias: where do I get this from?
SSL client certificate: what do I put in here?
use proxy: Do I specify the data of our SAP Web dispatcher here?

As2 receiver channel, SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error

There is one scenario in our landscape, its running in production, Proxy to As2. The interface working fine for last 2 weeks, today its showing error in As2 receiver channel saying
Message processing failed. Cause: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error # , SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error #
I have searched in forum, but couldnt get much idea on why this error encounters and how can we resolve it.
Kindly provide your inputs to help me resolve this.

Hi Ruchi,
500 means the requested server does not understand the request (the requested service is unknown). The reason is obvisiously outside of PI. You have to contact the 3rd party owner and ask why the system is refusing the request instead of responsing like before.

I am getting the following error in the receiver Seeburger AS2 channel with HTPS connection and going through a proxy to the Partner.All the certificates have been installed,proxy server information gives,mentioned the key store values and encryption certificate values have been mentioned in the receiver agreement that is using the channel.

Thank you for the link.The first thing I have looked at is the link you gave me.But when I give with * it is complaining that it is not able to retrieve the certificates.
TRUSTED/AS2CERTS/*,but I have backward slashes..may be OS is different ,I think the original poste might have Windows servers.

Problem with JDBC Comm Channel from UNIX PI Installation.

Dear Gurus:
Inside a standard scenario, we have a receiver comm channel which use JDBC adapter type to connect to a MS Access remote database.
The database connection is made like this:
JDBC Driver: sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver
Connection: jdbc:odbc:Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=//10.96.0.10/c$/app/appdb.mdb
Working from a Windows 2003 PI installation, everything works fine..
But we recently have finished a Heterogeneous migration from Windows 2003 + SQL server to UNIX AIX + Oracle servers and that particular interface does not work anymore.
Is there a way to connect to a MS Access from inside a UNIX PI installation..? Is there a native JDBC or ODBC driver that we can use to fix our problem...?

In the JDBC receiver CC, Advanced-->Advanced Mode, use poolWaitingTime and taskTimeout parameters and specify
some time using seconds.

Seeburger - async receiving MDN problem- no binding found for AS2

Hi guys!
We have configured AS2 receiver adapter but during receiveing Async MDN we get following error (sending of message is successful) :
Cannot receive async MDN: com.seeburger.as2.exception.AS2PluginException: Inbound communication from 90586 to 22266 not allowed: com.seeburger.conf.BackingStoreException: Unable to execute query because: com.seeburger.xi.config.ConfigException: No binding found for: AS2, http://seeburger.com/xi, Gloria, R3
Note: Gloria & R3 are names of XI identifiers (scheme: XIParty) and 22266 & 90586 are names from AS2ID scheme - alternative identifiers.
22266 - is sender of original message
90586 - is receiver
What is wrong on the settings? Why the sending message uses alternative identifiers and incoming MDN does not?

Problem in File Receiver comm channel

Hi,
I can't see anything in the Recevier communication channel in the RWB > Component Monitoring>Comm. channel monitoring-->Comm. channels.
I do have selected my comm channel.Its showing the message as "Comm. channel is configured correctly and started". But I cant see msgID and Explanation or error. Even, I cant fine any info in Error log.
The diagnosis i did as follows. Let me know if u come across any thing.
Checked the logs in VA but i didnt found any information and is not upto date. Bad luck
*Recreated the Rcvr comm channel again and teste. Nohope.
In the MONI its showing successfull, but i cant see output at destination.
*cache is uptodate
I have checked the queues, nothing got stuck.All queues are clear.
*I cant restart the Server since it is in production.

Hi Patrick,
Reason might be any one of the following.Please go through into them once again.
1. You or your partner has entered an incorrect AS2 ID
- Please check the AS2ID's very clearly. The ID's are case sensitive.Make sure you and your partner has entered exactly the same AS2ID in the configuration.
2. A valid sender agreement is missing.
You need to select Virtual receiver in the sender agreement and provide your receiver party and service name as well. This is very important for identifying the AS2 ID's.
3. There are more then one AS2 sender agreements.
Make sure that you created only one sender agreement for your sender and receiver party. Your business service may change but make sure you have created only one sender agreement for your sender and receiver party.
4. The corresponding inbound channel is set to inactive.
Make sure your channel is active.

I am facing some very weird issue of getting below error whenever I try to enable the Encryption in my Receiver AS2 Seeburger Adapter :

But the moment I send data without signing and encryption it goes well. We have tried placing certificates in receiver agreement and in key store.

Thanks we were able to identify the user to be mentioned but now we are facing below error while using certificates with SH1withRSA Encryption and in receiver channel Encryption algorithm as 3DES :

The problem doesnt ends here ... while our partner trying to send us data to the URL we have provided its getting 403 Forbidden Error. We have tried resolving the steps which were given in manual but again the sxase is same.
