Select Item Name

Hi :
I have a sql report in apex where the report is in page 15 but also there are multiple reports in other pages from page 10 to page 15 but the item is located in page10 as i select the item in page10 all the reports must redirects to it based on the item selected
item name in page 10 is p10_projects
plsql query is like this
declare
     i number:=1;
     q varchar2(32676);
BEGIN
q := '
SELECT pro.project_name
FROM projects pro ';
IF :P10_PROJECTS = 'ALL' THEN
q := q||' AND pro.id = :P10_PROJECTSS ';
END IF;
IF :P10_PROJECTSS <> 0 THEN
q := q||' AND pro.id = :P10_PROJECTS ';
END IF;
Return q
End;
now whts my requirement is like i also have a another item in page 15 called :p15_projects here in the report there must be a option like even if i select the item in page 15 the report must redirect to that base on this selection also
please suggest me how to include this condition in the above query
thanks

You know this makes little sense, right?
Ad-hoc reporting should be done at worst via Discoverer or a data warehouse solution, where the irrelevant fields can be hidden, foreign keys can bring code descriptions and everything can have nice names. More properly, it should be submitted to IT and they should determine how to produce the output the business requires. Letting users run queries directly against the database tables is almost always a bad idea. How does the user know if they want XPLV_BTCH_ID or not? They want to know details of sales made in a given period or how many widgets are in stock.That's what an IT department is for.

  • Script to find name of swatch pattern of selected item

    I'm confused on the code to find the name of swatch pattern of selected item. As an example, the following code works to find the name of a selected item.
    var newItem;
    var docSelected = app.activeDocument.selection;
    if ( docSelected.length > 0 ) {
    for ( i = 0; i < docSelected.length; i++ ) {
    var swatchRefName=docSelected[i].name;
    alert(swatchRefName);
    else {
    alert( "Please select one or more art objects" );
    To find the swatch name, my idea would be to change
    var swatchRefName=docSelected[i].swatch.name;
    obviously this doesn't work or many other versions I've tried, Can any one help? Thank You.

    Hi Basva,
    There might be an easier way, but this should work:
    foreach($item in $list.Items)
    $minor = 0
    $major = 0
    foreach($version in $item.Versions)
    if($version.Level -eq "Draft")
    $minor += 1
    else #Assume Level must be Published
    $major += 1
    #The variables $minor and $major will now hold
    #the correct number of versions for this item

  • PDA Menu Selection (user) Item Tag returns Item Name

    Using LV Mobile 8.6.1 with iPAQ on Windows Mobile 5.0 (5.1.1702) I have a custom run-time menu.  The Item Tags are shortened versions of the full Item Name.  The event structure provides the Item Tag, but the actual string value returned is the full Item Name.  The Item Path returns the complete hierarchy of the menu selection, but also contains the Item Name.

    Hi David,
    My PDA application has a custom run-time menu of 20 items.  Some menu items are up to 4 words in length, so I used unique single-word names for the item tag to differentiate the commands.  Debugging my code, only the single word menu items executed correctly.   All others ended up in the default case.
    This has to be a bug in LabView, that the event structure returns the Item Name in place of the cluster element labeled Item Tag.  The same problem exists in the Get Menu Selection.vi.
    The work around was to change all the case elements to match the item name and not the tag.  The item tag then is never used.

  • Change the nav item selected class name

    Hi there,
    In moduleTemplates > Menu > Default > container.html
    The function call to set the selected nav menu iten does not have a parramater to set the class name :
    // this will set the selected state
        if ((null !== ulTagId) && ("" !== ulTagId)) {
            catSetSelectedCSSItem(ulTagId);
    So you can not pass a parramater to set the dynamicly generated class name of the "selected" li
    So is the any other way to have the selected class name be "iAmSelected" for example.
    I dont yet see any way to edit the system file where the function resides : CatalystScripts/Java_DynMenusSelectedCSS.js
    Kind regards
    Gary

    Hi Gary,
    When using
    http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1903
    You can delete it and add your own script.
    OR the easier thing is adapt your CSS to match the class.

  • Changes to OITM Item Name replicate to RDR1 Dscription on open order lines

    Hi
    A quick question, does anyone know if it is practical to have changes to an item's Item Name field replicated to sales orders RDR1 Dscription field on orders which have open lines for that item?
    Scenario we face is when an item is made 'obsolete' standard practice is to mark it inactive and edit the OITM Item Name field to contain 'Obsolete'.
    We may have sales orders with lines open for this obsolete part which we need to be automatically updated if the original data changes.
    Thanks in advance for advice or guidance.

    Hi Marli,
    Try this:
    IF $[RDR1.U_Label] = '2'
    SELECT Case T0.U_UPCChoice
    When 1 THEN T1.U_UPCRetail
    WHEN 2 THEN T1.U_UPCLoc
    WHEN 3 THEN T1.U_UPCItem
    WHEN 4 THEN 'Look at Attachment'
    END
    FROM dbo.OCRD T0, dbo.OITM T1
    WHERE T0.CardCode = $[$4.0.0] AND T1.ItemCode = $[$38.1.0]

    REPORT NAME: PARAMETER WILL LET THE USER to select the requrired Reports to be run.
    ORG: is the Names of the SHIP FROM ORG
    ORG COUNTRY: is a Dependent Parameter based on the ORG (i.e When a SHIP FROM ORG is Selected the ORG CHOICE Should have the CHoices for the selected ORG and when Nothing Selected from that ORG it should run for every ORG COUNTRY in that SHIP FROM ORG Currently we have two ORG COUNTRY PER SHIP FROM ORG say(USA, CANADA)

    2.ITME COUNT RUN BY STATUS ( FOR all the ORDER TYPES)
    3.ITEM COUNT RUN BY TRANSIT DAYS

    Now My Problem is How Do i Get a Logic to Let the Report Name Selection To be REferenced in the Data Definition file..
    I would like to request you to Please help me out in arriving at a Solution for Implementing the Logic
    When the USer selects ITEM COUNT SUMMARY BY ORDER TYPE I want "BY_ORDERTYPE" to be Executed and so on..
    Is there a Way That I can Write in my Data definition file as
    DECODE(:REPORT_NAME ,'ITEM COUNT SUMMARY BY ORDERTYPE', Run query for BY_ORDERTYPE,
    ,'ITEM COUNT SUMMARY BY STATUS', Run query for BY_STATUS,
    ,'ITEM COUNT SUMMARY BY TRANSIT DAYS', Run query for BY_TRANSITDAYS,run query for DETAIL REPORT);
    Also My Item Description Contains Special Characters like Registered Symbol, Copyright Symbol How would I force my XML Parser to Still consider them as TEXT's
    May I Directly Specify <?xdofx:DECODE :REPORT_NAME = 'ITEM COUNT SUMMARY BY ORDERTYPE' THEN BY_ORDERTYPE ?> in the DATA DEFINITION file , I think this is only allowed in RTF please Help,
    Thanks

    Thanks for the Reply sir,
    When you say Write the Code, you are referring to the Package is that correct,unfortunately I am not implementing this via PL/SQL Package.
    you mentioned that I can Implement the Logic in the Data definition file( which is a XML file), how and Where I have print use that IF construct (or) Can you Please Print the Code snippet in the Model XML template that i have pasted in my Post.
    May i know what is this
    ln_req_id := fnd_request.submit_request -- for XML1 For...
    Sorry about my ignorance...

  • Bug (possibly?): SelectManyShuttle fails to display selected items

    Bug (possibly?): SelectManyShuttle fails to display selected items when valuePassThru="true" in ADF 10g
    Hello all,
    When run, the example below shows a Select Many Shuttle with four choices in the leading list. When items are shuttled to the training list and the page is submitted the trailing list is rendered with no items selected. Is this a bug?
    Configuration
    This example was constructed using jDeveloper 10.1.3.5.0.
    A new application was created using the Web Application [JSF, ADF BC] template although no business components are used.
    Steps to Reproduce
    1. Create the following backing bean class.
    package com.fmcna.adf.test.view;
    import java.util.ArrayList;
    import java.util.List;
    import javax.faces.model.SelectItem;
    public class ShuttleBean {
        public ShuttleBean() {
        private List availableItems;
        private List selectedItems;
        public void setAvailableItems(List availableItems) {
            this.availableItems = availableItems;
        public List getAvailableItems() {
            //populate with a List of SelectItem instances on the inital call to this method
            if(this.availableItems==null) {
                this.availableItems=generateSelectItemsList();
            return availableItems;
        public void setSelectedItems(List selectedItems) {
            this.selectedItems = selectedItems;
        public List getSelectedItems() {
            return selectedItems;
         * Build a List of SelectItem instances to be used by an af:selectManyShuttle
         * @return A List containing SelectItems instances
        private List generateSelectItemsList() {
            List initialItems = new ArrayList();
            initialItems.add(new SelectItem(new Integer(11),"First Choice"));
            initialItems.add(new SelectItem(new Integer(22),"Second Choice"));
            initialItems.add(new SelectItem(new Integer(33),"Third Choice"));
            initialItems.add(new SelectItem(new Integer(44),"Fourth Choice"));
            return initialItems;
    }2. Configure the ShuttleBean class as a session scoped managed bean as in the following faces-config.xml file.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
    <!DOCTYPE faces-config PUBLIC
      "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD JavaServer Faces Config 1.1//EN"
      "http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-facesconfig_1_1.dtd">
    <faces-config xmlns="http://java.sun.com/JSF/Configuration">
      <managed-bean>
        <managed-bean-name>ShuttleBean</managed-bean-name>
        <managed-bean-class>com.fmcna.adf.test.view.ShuttleBean</managed-bean-class>
        <managed-bean-scope>session</managed-bean-scope>
      </managed-bean>
      <application>
        <default-render-kit-id>oracle.adf.core</default-render-kit-id>
      </application>
    </faces-config>3. Create a JSP page containing an af:selectManyShuttle with a nested f:selectItems component. Wire the values for these components to the properties in the managed bean.
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
    "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
    <%@ page contentType="text/html;charset=windows-1252"%>
    <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" prefix="h"%>

    <%@ taglib uri="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces" prefix="af"%>
    <f:view>
      <html>
        <head>
          <meta http-equiv="Content-Type"
                content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"/>
          <title>testShuttle</title>
        </head>
        <body><h:form>
            <af:selectManyShuttle value="#{ShuttleBean.selectedItems}" valuePassThru="true">
                <f:selectItems value="#{ShuttleBean.availableItems}"/>
            </af:selectManyShuttle>
            <af:commandLink text="Postback"/>
        </h:form></body>
      </html>
    </f:view>4. Run the JSP. Validate that the trailing list is initially empty.
    5. Shuttle one or more items to the trailing list and click the Postback button. Validate that when the page refreshes the trailing list is again empty.
    Thanks for any input you might be able to provide.

    I'm holding my Nano in my hot little hands with ALL of the things you listed, but here's the sad, simple truth: you CAN'T use iTunes to sync everything. It works well for:
    1) Music
    2) Videos (except sometimes in Vista)
    3) Photos (as long as they're not too large)
    but is terrible for:
    1) calendar
    2) contacts
    3) To-Do lists
    For the latter use something like "iGadget" (www.ipodsoft.com). I also edit/store notes w/iGadget plus it allows you to export files, etc.
    I gave up on syncing iTunes w/Outlook long ago. Good luck.

  • Item '(item name)' could not be moved message

    I get the message "The item '(item name)' could not be moved because '(folder)' cannot be modified." when trying to copy files from my iBook to my iMac over the network. This includes Home, Desktop, and other folders. The odd thing is this has worked fine in the past. I checked and File Sharing is enabled on both computers.
    However, I can copy files to/from my iBook when on my iMac with no problems.

    On the iMac, select the folder you're trying to move the items to and choose Get Info from the File menu. Under Ownership & Permissions, verify that your account has Read & Write access to them, and that they are unlocked. Repeat this process with each folder.

    With computer running Windows 7 using the curser can select an item, then right click and select copy.   With computer running Windows 8 there is a hand instead of a curser therefore unable to select an item, therefore unable to copy.  Is there a way to have a curser rather than the hand?
    Eureka!!!   Just found by right clicking on the hand can then select “Select Tool” and then copy.  Hurray!!!

  • How to get the label on selectOneMenu selected item??

    Hi,
    I'm not able to get the label of the selected item in a selectOneMenu. The code I use to fill it is:
    <h:form id="formNacion" name="formNacion">
    <h:selectOneMenu value="#{modelRtbBean.nacion}" id="selectNacion" onchange="this.form.submit();">
    <f:selectItems value="#{dataRecoveryBean.naciones}" id="idItemsNacion"/>
    </h:selectOneMenu>
    </h:form>
    The dataRecoveryBean has this method to fill the content of the component (basically it creates an arrayList of selectItems by recovering data from a database):
    public ArrayList<SelectItem> getNaciones() {
    if ((naciones == null ) || (naciones.isEmpty()) ){
    naciones = new ArrayList<SelectItem>();
    HDBGeografico hdbGeo = new HDBGeografico();
    SqlMadd sqlmadd = new SqlMadd();
    try {
    AccessBD sscm = new AccessBD( );
    sscm.table(hdbGeo.getSqlNaci());
    // The AccessBD object has a reference to the resultset:
    ResultSet rs = sscm.getRS();
    while (rs.next()) {
    naciones.add(new SelectItem((String) rs.getString(1), (String) rs.getString(2)));
    sscm.Close();
    } catch (Exception e) {
    System.out.println(e.toString());
    return naciones;
    the modelRtbBean setNacion recovers the value, but I need its label too, because it's a kind of description that I use later.
    In the modelRtbBean setNacion method I'm able to access the UISelectItems object, but I cannot get the selected item itself
    public void setNacion(String nacion) {
    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    if (fc != null) {
    UIViewRoot viewRoot= fc.getViewRoot();
    System.out.println(viewRoot.getViewId());
    HtmlSelectOneMenu selNac = (HtmlSelectOneMenu)viewRoot.findComponent("bodySTB:formNacion:selectNacion");
    if (selNac != null) {
    System.out.println("Nacion value-htmlSelectOneMenu :" + selNac.getValue() );
    System.out.println(selNac.getAccesskey() + selNac.getTitle() + selNac.toString());
    UISelectItems uis = (UISelectItems)selNac.findComponent("idItemsNacion");
    if (uis != null) {
    System.out.println("I have the element...");
    this.nacion = nacion;
    How could it be accessed this selected item label ??

    I finally did it as you suggest, but I found another way to access the label (I don't know if it could be useful for anybody but here it is) :
    In the setter method linked to the SelectOneMenu, you can put in this code:
    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    if (fc != null) {
    UIViewRoot viewRoot= fc.getViewRoot();
    System.out.println(viewRoot.getViewId());
    HtmlSelectOneMenu sel = (HtmlSelectOneMenu)viewRoot.findComponent("viewName:formName:selectOneName");
    if (sel != null) {
    UISelectItems uis = (UISelectItems)sel.findComponent("idItemsName");
    if (uis != null) {
    ArrayList<SelectItem> listElem = (ArrayList<SelectItem>) uis.getValue();
    You could put in in the value item of each SelectItem it's index position in the list, so in the setter method
    of the bean linked to the selectOneMenu you would get the index of the selected item as the parameter of the method
    int index = 1; // For easyness in this example
    System.out.println("Label: " + listElem.get(index).getLabel() + " Value: "+ listElem.get(index).getValue());
    Thanks !!!

  • Flatten to XML does not save Item Names of ListBox to XML file.

    On my Front Panel, I have a ListBox Indicator that has Strings from which the User can select. Also the User can edit items in the ListBox to add new elements. After the user selects one and pushes my Save button, I use the Flatten to XML function to save the selection in an XML file. But Flatten to XML only saves the Value (index of the selected item(s)) to the XML file and not the ListBox Item Names. That is enough information to reconstruct which of the String data that the user selected.
    In a ListBox where a User is selecting among a list of Strings, shouldn't the Flatten to XML function also store the String(s) that were selected?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Dennis Knutson wrote:
    The control is a U32 which is no different than placing a regular numeric control on the front panel. The flatten to xml is only passed a numeric value in both cases. It can't record something that you do not pass to it. The state of the control is the numeric value and the state can be reconstructed with that numeric. If you want to reconstuct the strings (which are not states), use the property node.
    I disagree. A ListBox that contains Stings to select from is full of String information. Both I and the User entered those Strings into the ListBox. It is the only data in the Listbox that we see. It is the most important information in the ListBox. The Strings are present in the Item Names. The Flatten to XML does have access to the Item Names and can and should provide them. Neither I nor the User are interested in the Numeric Index of the Selected Items. That is useless information to us. Both of use are dealing with Strings. If the State of the ListBox control is to be reconstructed from the XML data provided by the Flatten to XML function, then the Strings (Item Names) in the Listbox must be provided in the XML data.

  • How to retrieve selected item details (Product Id, Quantity) in Action clas

    Hi
    I want to retrieve the selected item details (Product Id, Quantity) in my custom action class .I am calling custom action event after u2018add to cartu2019 button clicked.  I basically need these details to pass to custom BAPI. I can able to retrieve User Name and itemkey successfully.  I Tried to retrieve the product , productID using WebCatItem but I was getting run time error and when I debug the code I can see webCatItem coming  as null. Below is my code.
    public class Z_AddToBasketAction extends BaseAction {
         /* (non-Javadoc)
    @see com.sap.isa.core.BaseAction#doPerform(org.apache.struts.action.ActionMapping, org.apache.struts.action.ActionForm, javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest, javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse)
         public ActionForward doPerform(
              ActionMapping mapping,
              ActionForm form,
              HttpServletRequest request,
              HttpServletResponse response)
              throws IOException, ServletException {
              //Cache.Access access = null;
              Map returnValues = null;
              UserSessionData userSessionData =
                   UserSessionData.getUserSessionData(request.getSession());
                   BusinessObjectManager bom =
                             (BusinessObjectManager) userSessionData.
                             getBOM(BusinessObjectManager.ISACORE_BOM);
         String selectedPartnerID = bom.getUser().getUserId();
         String strItemkey=request.getParameter("itemkey");
         WebCatItem webCatItem =     (WebCatItem) request.getAttribute(
                             com.sap.isa.catalog.actions.ActionConstants.RA_WEBCATITEM);
         //If you are looking at Product attributes.
          String att =  webCatItem.getProduct()", "webCatItem.getProductID();
         ZBOM mybom = (ZBOM) userSessionData.getBOM(ZBOM.ZCUSTOM_BOM);
         return mapping.findForward("success");

    Hi Arvinda,
    From which page you are trying to add products in cart? Are you selecting only 1 item at a time and then click on Add to cart button or you select more then 1 items to add into cart.
    You can ceate hidden input filed and set their value through java script when you select any item. If more then 1 items then you can create an arry and set in the request parameter and then retrieve it in your custome class.

  • SHOW ALL / HIDE ALL BUTTONS produce error in chm but not in "View Selected Item"

    My SHOW ALL and HIDE ALL buttons work in the View Selected
    Item mode. However, the compiled version generates an error tag:
    Line: 72
    Char: 1
    Error: Object expected
    Code: 0
    URL:
    mk:@MSITSTORE:C\Documents%20and%20Settings\glenn_michaels\RoboHelp%206.0\TCA\!SSL!
    In short, the the compiled chm is located in the SSL. I tried
    adding showhide.js and ehlpDhtm.js to the SSL folder, but that
    didn't make a difference. What is missing? How do I fix this?
    Many thanks in advance...
    glennito

    Mr. Grainge,
    I've tried to follow your instructions to the letter, but I'm
    not having any luck.
    1) I copied the showhide.js to
    a) RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder
    b) RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder > SSL
    c) RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder > SSL >
    MicroSoft_HTML_Help
    2) I pasted btnhideall.gif, btnshowall.gif, printerblue.gif
    into
    a) RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder > SSL
    b) they are also listed in RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder
    3)The Project Manager > Baggage File originally displayed
    a
    a) Project (Name) folder
    b) ehelp.xml
    c) RoboHHre.Ing
    I opened the Baggage File > Project (Name) folder,
    selected New Baggage File, and added, respectively:
    i. btnhideall.gif
    ii. btnshowall.gif
    iii. ehlpDhtm.js
    iv. printerblue.gif
    v. printerred.gif
    vi. showhide.js
    vii. TCA.fpj
    vii. root.fpj
    4) I also opened rhbag.apj in Notepad. It shows
    a) ehelp.xml and RoboHHRE.Ing accompanied by
    <usercreated>false</usercreated> tags
    b) the remaining baggage files are accomanied by
    <usercreated>true</usercreated> tags
    5) Finally, I used Notepad to display two topic files in
    which the error message identified a Line: XX. In one case the line
    # is 42, in another, 19. In both cases, when I counted lines,
    starting with <body>, I ended up on:
    onClick="JavaScript:hideEm()"
    However, I am none the wiser for my effort and don't know
    what (5) might be telling me.
    6) The only thing I can think of is that the compiled chm
    file is two levels away from the Project Name directory that holds
    all the files. The files live in Robohelp 6.0 > Project Name
    while the compiled help is found in Robohelp 6.0 > Project Name
    > SSL! > MicroSoft_HTML_Help > Project Name.chm.
    Should I be adjusting the Relative Path within the topics?
    Many thanks for your attention and assistance.
    glenn
