Selecting which image to display

Hi,
I have a following issue. I have a VI that displays three images (all of them have the same size). I can display every image in selected Image Display from Vision palette. As you can see in the picture below two Image Displays have the same size, and one is bigger.
What I want to achieve is the ability to select (via using e.g. buttons) which image should be diplayed in which Image Display. For example when I push the 'Image1' button then first image is displayed in the biggest Image Display (both rest images are diplayed in smalled Image Displays). When I push the 'Image2' button then second image is displayed in the biggest Image Display, and so on... Is it possible to do it?

Hi,
Take a look at the attached VI. You should study more about flowcontrol so that you get rid of the sequence structure. I don't have IMAQ so I can't test my example.

Are you referring to pop up windows that have flash content
displayed
inside of them? If so, sometimes you can't "force" it to
display on a
particular monitor. Using javascript the website can dictate
what the
(x,y) coordinates are for the window to open at which MAY be
the problem.
Please elaborate where you are experiencing this problem, in
the Flash
IDE or in your browser.

How can I select which page to display based upon a log-in?

I have created a page where the user will enter one of several codes. I wanted to use the login function and validate the code against a table that I have pre-loaded with these codes. The code entered would control which page was displayed to the user.
(I have identified a community of potential clients, and this group is broken down into 10 unique sub-groups. Each person receives a mail that includes one of 10 unique 'codes', which identify the sub-group. When the recipient calls up my website and enters the code (as a user ID), this will determine which of the 10 pages is displayed. If someone randomly enters (or mis-keys) a value into the promo field a default error page (page #11) would display.)
Is this possible using the log-in function. Now that I'm looking at the function, it appears that any successful log-in will be directed to the same page. If I can't use the log-in function, how can I accomplish this. In essence, I am looking for the successful codes to act as an "if . . .then . . .else . . " type of logic. Or, a successful hit on one of records in my table is akin to making a menu selection (that is not available in any other fashion).
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Selecting Tiled Images then Displaying the image

I am looking for a good way to display a collection of images (jpg) tiled in a pane, then the user can click on one of the tiled images, and then the selected tiled image will then be displayed full size in a seperate pane.
Before, I have done this by having buttons in a grid layout, and setting the button's ImageIcon in order to produce the tiled images. Then it is easy to implement the 'user clicks on tiled image, then image is displayed '.
I am wondering if there is a better way to do this. Your help is much appreciated!

Selecting which favorites to display?

Hi all,
I've create
d a list of around 50 default favorites for my users' Favorites Portlet, but it's only large enough to show around 5 at a time.
I've done Display --> Limit List To --> 5 Favorites ,
but is there any way to allow the user to select which 5 are shown? e.g. checkbox selection

Images not displayed properly

Hi,I am working on Agentry 5.4.0I have a list screen where for one of the columns I have a rule to display images ( I use checked and unchecked images ). Earlier the images were getting displayed properly on the ATE but it is not working now and I did not make any changes to the image properties then.But after this, I tried couple of things with the image properties to make it work, like when I do not use any mask colour the image does not get displayed but when i use any maks colour the image gets displayed but its completely blacked out ( and thus for checked image, cannot see the check mark and its completely blacked out ).I face same issue with the login image as well. I added a new Image ( Logo ) to my App for the login Screen, but even this image does not appear on the login screen.
I also tried deleting the Dev folder and re-publishing, but even this does not work.

Try deleting the Application directory under your development server where the images reside and publish again.
Completely clear your ATE and transmit again from scratch.
Also, what mask color are you using?
Try using a green hugh and not black or white for the mask.

Is it just the ATE, or do you have the same problems using the WIn32 or PPC clients?

Hi Jason,Behaviour in ATE:I have changed the image now and tested with the new image . Now, its behaving strangely:When I do a sync after publishing or a reset of ATE; I see the new image properly displayed on the screen but when I leave the screen and come back to the same screen again, the new image is getting replaced by the old image ( atleast the old image is not displayed properly, it appears like a black square box..and because of the same issue I had with this image I switched to the new image ). Behaviour in Win32 Client:When I tested with the client, I see the new image properly for the first time and when i leave the screen and come back the image disappears..This is the behaviour in client.
Please suggest.

Prashanthi,What did you use to create these images?
They are simple bitmaps I assume?
Try creating some very simple images using Microsoft Paint, then set a mask of green in Agentry.
Your problem sounds familiar, but I can't find a matching bug in our database.
Maybe someone else has experienced this?
You could also try upgrading to a newer version of Agentry to see if the problem goes away.

But strangely, from past few days I see that the image is working fine again.
But kept this topic open because it was wierd, that the image is working correctly again without making any major change. What I did was to just write the rule again which calls the image ( though i did this before and did not work then but worked now ) and to observe the image behaviour for few days.But it seems like it is fine now.

Image not displaying correctly Photoshop CS5 Extended V 12.1. (Same file OK in PS Elements)

I am having a problem with Photoshop CS5 Extended V 12.1.
The problem:
When I open some files, some shades of BLUE colour is displayed as BLACK
However the same file opens and displays correctly if I open it using Photoshop Elements V9.0.3.
When I save the file as JPEG and re-open it, the problem returns.
Opening the JPEG file in any other application, including PS Elements, does not cause the problem
Source of files
The original files came from a Nikon camera, saved in RAW format. It is possible that the original files were corrupted in some way as the shots had an unusual blue cast - which was easily resolved by Photoshop when I originally opened the RAW files. However, I'm not sure.
The problem is not universal as I've not been able to reproduce it with any other files (RAW or JPEG).
I have calibrated my monitor display settings sRGB IEC61966-2.1 (default)

Thank you for yur reply, Curt. Yes, I do have the original RAW file. When I open it in PSE and PS, the colours appear correctly AT FIRST as shown here:
However, when I select "Open Image", it appears as here:
You will see that the blues in the lady's scarf and the wolly hat of a man in the forground are appearing as black. However, when the file is saved as JPEG or PNG and printed or viewed using PSE or Pait, or any other medium (even Premiere Elements), the colurs arer fine.
However, the same process when followed in PSE, does not result in the same outcome. The image displays correctly.

Why are images not displaying at correct resolution in emails?

I've just upgraded to Windows 7 (64bit).
Thunderbird is not displaying images at the correct resolution: images that I insert into the body of an email and images used in my signature.
The images appear larger than they should and pixelated.
It seems that images are not displaying at the correct resolution inside my emails, whereas in other programs on my machine images are displaying correctly.
When I insert and image into an email using insert>image, the resulting "Image Properties" window displays the image's dimensions correctly. This confirms my suspicion that the resolution is not displaying correctly inside emails (a lower resolution than elsewhere on my screen, which would explain why the images appear bigger and pixelated).
I'd appreciate any help in fixing this problem.

I've discovered what is causing the problem, but I still need a way to fix it, if possible.
The cause of the problem is that in Windows 7 Control Panel > Display I have set the size of "text and other items" to 150% (otherwise everything is much too small too read on my screen's recommended resolution of 1920×1080).
I discovered that Irfan Viewer was also displaying at the incorrect resolution, but I managed to solve that problem by right-clicking on the IrfanView.exe icon and following Properties > Compatibility and selecting "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".
I tried the same procedure with Thunderbird, but it made no difference. It is still displaying at the incorrect resolution.
Any suggestions?

How can I specify which divs to display using js/css

I'm building a web app that will be converted to a smartphone app, probably using phone gap build. I began by using the jquery mobile sample which appears to work well. The app will display a series of phrases on the page in English and then optionally display the phrase in Formal Spanish or Informal Spanish, the user can also tap the screen to hear the phrase.
The problem I'm having is how to control whether the user sees the Formal or informal Spanish. I'd like to have either a couple of checkboxes where the user can select Formal/ Informal/ Both or three buttons identified as Formal/ Informal/Both, buttons would be preferable to checkboxes.
I set up DIVs around the Formal and Informal Spanish phrases and defined them as "Class: Formal" or Class Informalt" and thought I'd use Display:Inline or Display:None but how do I get from someone tapping on a button to changing the CSS so that the class selected is defined as Display:Inline and the class not selected is defined as Display:None? As this will be a smartphone app all I can use is HTML, CSS and JS.
This is my first app and I'm having a hard time getting my head around this.

Thanks for the js code. I tried it and am having problems getting it to work. You can see the webapp here www.pslt.biz/mobileApp/LE4/index3.html , Then click on "Age, Weight & Height" and you'll see the buttons I added. There will be multiple English phrases on a page each one having two Spanish translations, one in Formal Spanish and the second in Informal Spanish. When the user clicks "Formal" they should see all the English phrases and only the Formal Spanish phrases(the first Spanish phrase after the English), when they click "Informal" they should see all the English phrases and only the Informal Spanish phrases(the second Spanish phrase) and when they click "Formal & Informal" they should see the English phrases followed by both Spanish phrases. I have only set this up for the first phrase on the page, once i get it working for one phrase the rest should be easy....
I tried aligning the buttons underneath the page header but when I did this, using a Div around the buttons, the buttons disappeared and I was left with links in blue that were very hard to read. I must be doing something wrong here too. I really appreciate your assistance with this.
In case it helps, below is the code for the buttons in the header section of the page and the first English phrase on the page in the "Content" section of the page. Following that is the CSS which is in a separate file if that makes any difference.

Customize Which Column to Display from UDT in UDF when Linked to UDT

Problem:
I have a UDF that links to a UDT. The problem is that when I select the UDF, it only displayes the columns from the UDT Code & Name. And for our purposes Code & Name are meaningless data points.
Question:
Can I choose which column is displayed from the UDT in the UDF?

This is SAP B1 standard behavior, But you can change name as terminal code. Other wise you can detach the UDT from UDF and then assign one FMS in the UDF for serach terminal code instead of code and name.

How do I select which pictures will be shown on transition album 1 or album 2?

Working with IMovie using still shots not video. When I insert the transition of titled "album 1" or "album 2" ect.... I would like to select which pictures are shown in than transition. Is there a way to do that?

Select the transition and a bunch of markers will appear.
Grab the marker you want to move to whatever image you want. The Canvas will display the transition with the selected images. You have to select an image that's in the project.

Managing which images (or movies) are inserted

Hi
I need to mainly to present images, as kinds of photo albums.
I would need to know which images are included or not: I want to put them all and avoid dupes, or do it on purpose.
In the Metrics nail, in the Inspector pane, the name of the selected object is displayed but it gives no clue about the path.
I found a turnaround by dragging the file name in the Presenter Notes.
I tried using the Comments by why do they have to be square? If you could make them as a rectangular labels it would be much more practical.

I would certainly like to minimize my files size as a rule of thumb.
Yet I have a collection of thousands of photos that I have already processed when necessary in Photoshop ELements. It's either digital or scanned pics. iPhoto slideshow doesn't suit me: I want a full screen presentation of any number or pics displayed the way I want. Keynote meets my specs.
However it misses one feature:
My real objective is to keep track of the pictures that are inserted in a presentation, on which one and at which page.
Realistic? Any turn around? Any other application? I looked in Automator if there was something possible but had no time to fully explore it.

I recently "upgraded" from Snow Leopard to Lion (10.7.2) by performing a clean install. I then reimported my Aperture Vault. Now almost all of my 12,000+ photos show a little yellow warning icon (see attached image). I am unable to edit or manipulate these photos in any way. When I attempt to, the following error message appears: "The selected master image is either offline or not found. Please reconnect it and try again." I have already performed all 3 of Aperture's recommended Troubleshooting steps: . And here's one more bit of information. When I open Aperture while holding down the Option key (to choose the Aperture library), the dialog box asks "Which Aperture Library do you want to use?" and displays a table containing several older libraries as well as my current library (Aperture library.aplibrary) (this is the library that I am trying to use -- i.e. the one I am having trouble with). When I single-click to select this library, the information displayed below it shows its location on my external drive, as well as "12856 versions, 12920 masters." But when I double-click to open that library, I am left with the same problem. 12,000+ of these photos appear to have no master.
Any help is appreciated!

I am really sorry, I could not be of more help to you so far. Remote diagnosis is very difficult, since I cannot take over your computer screen.
Your problem is very unusual and it really should not happen: with a managed library Aperture should know how to find the master image files, since it is Aperture's job to keep track of them. And so there are no built in controls in Aperture at all to reconnect managed masters. You Aperture library obviously is corrupted, and you need to find out why this happenend. If you know the reason, you may try to recreate it from your vault, and avoid the problem that caused the missing masters. That is why I asked about the formatting of your drive - I wild shot - granted- but if you restored your vault to an external disk not formatted MacOS extended this might result in missing master image files. You may want to restore from your vault again, using a different drive, to avoid hard drive problems.
If you cannot find the reason for the corruption that occured when restoring from the vault, then you will have to patch your Aperture library manually, since you already tried all built-in"First Aid" measures.
You already made sure, that the library contains a "Masters" folder and the images are there. One thing you could try (after making sure you have a backup of your library):
Quit Aperture.
Open the Aperture Library Package again and move the Masters Folder to a folder outside the Aperture Library.
Relaunch Aperture and try "locate referenced Files" again;
If this does not not succeed, you might try to reimport the masters to Aperture, but this way you would loose all your edits - that why I am trying to find a clue to the source of your problem

Cannot select multiple images in iPhoto '08?

What am I doing wrong? I want to select multiple images to either print several on a page, or publish to a gallery, but for the life of me I cannot find a view which shows me all photo thumbnails or all thumbnails in an album or all in an event. I can spin the mousewheel to singly go through them, or I can hit edit and go to full screen where I get a thumbnail bar and can select multiples and view them at the same time, but printing or publishing this selection only recognizes the first photo as selected. If I try to select View>Thumbnails, the subsequent menu options are grayed out, and the top one is "hide" even though I see no thumbnail bar. Is there something very obvious I'm missing, or has something gone awry and I should reinstall?
