Support problem. The adviser tried to diagnose the failure of an application called JOTNOT PRO to update. He said he'd phone back at 8pm. I pick up his call at 8pm. Electronic voice: thank you for calling apple. We are now closed" So now I have 2 problems: the adviser had got me to reset so bye bye wifi passwords and settings. And then when he phones back as we agreed he's not actually on the phone, it's just a voice saying Apple Support is now closed! What on earth is going on at apple support I wonder.
Anyway, the original problem: an application called JotNot Pro fails to update. The error message says something like "you cannot update this cos either you bought it with a different Apple ID or somebody else bought it."
Neither applies. Can anybody help?
PS. This is my first approach to the support community so please bear with me!

I updated my Mountain Lion yesterday with the latest system update and after reboot, much to my dismay, EVERY file I had on my downloads folder was permanently deleted.
Months and months downloading research material for my business plan, all gone.

2.1 works fantastically on my iPhone 3g. I used to only have 1 bar of 3g signal at my house and most times not even that. With the new update I now have full 3g signal! Talk about an upgrade. Thank you so much Apple for figuring this out. =)
I think part of the 3G improvement is going to be directly affected by how many update. If a lot of people in your area are still running 2.0 then you still have the software issue where the iPhone was requesting too much power from the cell towers. You need to get everyone to update in your area

The activation server is gone for AA7, but not AA8 as understand it. You will need to do the updates for AA8 to be effective on Win7. It is questionable that it will run on WIn8 (I have no clue for a MAC).
Your conversation is an example of how many of us got here in the first place. It is fantastic that you were able to hold on and get the problem resolved. Not exactly sure of the solution, but there does seem to be light at the end of the tunnel for folks. Normally, with activation problems like yours, we recommend calling Adobe Support for them to reset the activations. I was just wanting to get a heads up about AA8 on the newer systems. Folks have been successrul on Win7 with the updates, but the results for Win8 are still not known in general. There have been some suggestions, but nothing more. As long as it works for you that is great. For our info, what OS are you running? -
I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro and it started to beep for the first time when I started up today. I think it was 3 continuous beeps then a pause. It sounded like an alarm and totally freaked me out. Then I pressed the on/off button for about 5 seconds and it restarted. I was able to get online, but then I had trouble with the trackpad, which is okay now. I have AppleCare and want to take it to an Apple Store, but I'm currently residing in Antalya, Turkey. I will be in Athens, Greece until January 1st. To create an Apple ID without a credit or debit card, there is a specific series of steps that have to be processed in order to allow the payment to be set as none on creation of the account.

If the specific steps have not been processed, a credit or debit card will be required to complete the setup of the account.
However, it can be removed and payment method changed to none as long as there is not an outstanding balance. At this point an iTunes gift card can be used as form of payment.

This is a thank you first to Apple, for designing such a great laptop, and secondly to the tech's at my local Apple Tech Shop, Advance Electronics, especially Scott.
About a week ago, an Apple Laptop users worst nightmare happened to me.
And it was my own fault.
I split a FULL cup of three cream, three sugar coffee on the top of my MacBook Pro. I won't go into how; I know I am a GIANT IDIOT for ever allowing this to happen, and I literally felt physically ill after doing this.
So, I spill this Extra Large cup of Tim Horton's finest directly on the keyboard of my MBP. The screen automatically goes blank. It has powered down. I leap into action.
I flip the MBP upside down, allowing most of the liquid to drain, while yanking the Magsafe (did I mention I love this connector?) and popping the battery.
Keeping the MBP upside down, I look for a tool small enough to open the RAM door; no luck.
I call the local tech shop. They have no Mac Techs there on the weekend, but they do have some other talented techs. I have no choice, I need immediate action or my poor MBP is doomed.
I bring it to the Tech shop. They make no promises, warn me that by having a non-Apple Certified tech work on it, my warranty is void; I am not deterred; spilling coffee on it has already voided the warranty, and I have nothing to lose at this point.
One week later I have my MBP back. They had to replace the keyboard (can you imagine trying to clean that sucker out?) and the topcase. That's it. everything else is in working order.
No doubt my own fast action had something to do with this, but without the design and build quality from Apple, and the skill of the first tech to work on my MBP, Scott, I would have a very expensive hunk of scrap right now, instead of my beloved MBP.

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

It sounds like you keep being prompted to enter your iCloud password every time you turn on your iPhone. I would start by signing out of your iCloud account in Settings > iCloud. Then close all the running apps:

Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
