Send data to JMS queue using CQL in Jdeveloper 11g CEP application

ALTER QUERY q_basic_event ADD DESTINATION
“<EndPointReference><Address>_file:///home/cep/test.txt</Add
ress></EndPointReference>" ---- CQL is being used to transfer data to an output file(test.txt).
How do we change the destination so that the data is sent to a JMS queue in Jdeveloper 11g where we are using a CEP application?

Hi Narayanan,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I understand that we need to create an external delivery channel to post the message to a JMS Queue from TP2. Currently I am using default AQ's (b2b.IP_IN_QUEUE & b2b.IP_OUT_QUEUE) at TP2 end to receive the message.
But, I want to post the message to JMS Queue. For this I need to create an external delivery channel and the corresponding end point should be the name of that JMS Queue. Is my assumption correct?
I have already gone through the thread that you have mentioned and the pdf as well. But, I am not able to find an option on how & where to create that JMS Queue?
Could you clarify on this?
Regards,
Satya.

Earlier in the thread you mentioned you were using WebLogic, so the answer may lie in the WebLogic documentation.

  • Integration Broker : Sending peoplesoft Data into JMS queues using  IB

    Hi All,
I am working on integration of peoplesoft and SOA middleware. I am basically SOA middleware developer. So not much aware at peoplesoft side.
My requirement is that need to extract information from peoplesoft and send it to third party systems(through JMS queues) and also i explored that Integration broker is going to help in such cases.
Could you please answer my some of the questions.
1)How can i extract information of peoplesoft. lets say i need to extract customer data from peoplesoft.
    2) steps to send above extracted customer info to third party system using integration broker.
It would be sending information to JMS topics.
So please let me know how we can handle JMS queues in peoplesoft.
Please refer the related documents for outbound interface strategies.
    Thanks inadvance.

Biztalk do have Peoplesoft Adapter. Just configure it and use appropriate Component Interface to push or pull the data.

  • Problems in Sending Data through JMS Bridge - WLS 10.3 to WLS 11g

I have a scenario where I need to send data from a queue configured on WLS 10.3 to WLS 11g. I am using OSB on WLS 10.3.
    What I have done is
    1. Created a JMS Based BS in OSB which sends data to jms://localhost:7001/ConnFactoryJNDI/QueueJNDI
    2. Created a JMS Bridge on WLS 10.3
    3. Source Destination has been configured as the one mentioned above.
    4. Target Destination has been configured to a queue on WLS 11g.
When i execute the JMS Based BS in OSB, data is being written to the Source Queue directly. I am not sure of the JMS Bridge functionality but I assume that once data is written to the Source Destination, that data will be automatically pushed on the target destination.
I have configured a JDBC store for the target queue but I no table is created with the data sent from the source.
    M i missing something here?

I think this question belongs to weblogic server, but as far as I know bridge should be created always at higher version. means, you should create bridge at 11g and try to pull/drop data from 10g. To check any errors in bridge, check the server log and make sure status of bridge is "forwarding messages"

  • Send hashtable to JMS queue

    Hi
How can i send hashtable to JMS queue?
    Thanks

    Hi Robert,
I checked my system staus and found PI_BASIS as a component.
I got to know that sending data to the JMS queue is not a big deal. All one needs to do from the CRM side is to call a stub behind which sits the Java code. Once this stub has been called, the Java code has to take care of it.

    Hi,
As far as i know, JMS Object Messages is not supported by XI JMS adapter.
you need to have the JMS provider to transform the message to bytes messages.

  • Read message synchronously from JMS queue using OSB

    Hi,
Is it possible to read message from the JMS queue using OSB based on the request invocation. I know messages can be read from the queue but it will be polling based.
The requirement is to have an OSB proxy service (HTTP service ) an an interface to the client application. Client application invokes the proxy service and the proxy service need to read message from the JMS queue and provide the message as response to the client.
Let me know if there are any pointers.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I spent some time trying to do this and apart from creating custom database tables etc. I was not able to achieve this.
We wanted to use in memory JMS queues in our situation.
In the end we developed a Java Web Service which preformed the on-demand read from the queue (using a particular message selector)
This is working for us without a problem

  • How to remove header data from JMS Queue while sending by jms adapter

    Hi.
I have a problem regarding the MQ-series JMS adapter.
When writing the file the JMS adaptor putting  some additional tags.
Actually we are converting idoc-xml to flat file by using ABAP mapping which is available in SAP document. We are using JMS Receiver adapter, whiel sending flat file to JMS QUEUE,  it is displaying some extra xml tags. I think this is the header data available in IDoc XML. Can any body help me in removing header data.
There must be some way for XI's JMS adaptor to not include these information.
    My example looks like this:
    RFH Ø
    ¸MQSTR
¸ " is junk that I really dont need in the file.
How can you setup the JMS adaptor not to put in these information?

I need to send messages to the default queue(demoQueue) available in the server using a JMS adapter in a BPEL process.
I tried doing the same by using an invoke activity that invokes the JMS adapter service to send the message to the queue. I deployed this process in the server and gave an input to send it to the queue. The prcoess executed without any errors in the BPEL console.
I am also using Hermes v1.0 to monitor the queue but it says that it dint receive any messages in the queue to read.

You can use the following procedure :
    DBMS_AQ.ENQUEUE (
    queue_name IN VARCHAR2,
    enqueue_options IN enqueue_options_t,
    message_properties IN message_properties_t,
    payload IN "<ADT_1>",
    msgid OUT RAW);

  • Data retrieval from JMS queue using single SOA composite in a clustered env

    Hi,
    I have following situation:
    1) A requester SOA composite (Composite1)is reading data from a File
    2) Mediator is routing data received from Composite1 and writing in a JMS queue.
    3) A provider composite (Composite2) is reading from the JMS queue.
Both Composite1 and Composite2 is deployed in a clustered environment.
Problem is Composite2 is not able to read data sequentially from JMS Queue sometime (for example out of 30000 transactions its failing once). Here it's a queue and only one producer and only one consumer is there.
What may cause this issue? I thought a single producer and single consumer on a queue will guarantee FIFO retrieval . Could you please advise where may be the gap?
    Thanks

    Hi,
I thought a single producer and single consumer on a queue will guarantee FIFO retrieval Java Message Service Specification does not guarantee ordered message delivery when applications use distributed queues...
Using Weblogic Message Unit-of-Order may solve your issue...

  • Making DB updates and sending message to JMS queue enclosed in a single transaction

using a container managed transactions can we achieve sending a message to the JMS
queue and updating DB as part of single transaction with the data base driver not
supporting XA. If yes what all configurations setting I need to do. I tried to achieve
this using 2PC but I am getting the error that "javax.transaction.xa.XAException:
JDBC driver does not support XA, hence cannot be a participant in two-phase commit.
To force this participation, set the enableTwoPhaseCommit property on the corresponding
JDBCTxDataSourceproperty, to true. Pool = ejbPool".

As far as I know, your only options is to do as the exception you cut-and-pasted below
              states:
"To force this participation, set the enableTwoPhaseCommit property on the corresponding
JDBCTxDataSourceproperty, to true. Pool = ejbPool"
The "enableTwoPhaseCommit" property has definite drawbacks
see the javadoc and/or documentation for configuring
              a "JDBCTxDataSource".
This problem is specific to non-XA resources in general, not JMS (which is an XA resource),
you may wish to get more info by posting to the transaction newsgroup.

When I meant there is an expiry time set with the message. It means the message is received by your WLS, but you are not able to see it because the message has expired.
You can only view the messages that are not expired.
If you think you are not even receiving the message, may be you can enable debugging on the WLS JMS and see if you are able to get more details in the server logs.
