Send several pdf attachments has one file

I sent out an email today with 25 pdf files attached. The person who received it said she had to open each file to see it instead of the whole file being sent has one file. How do you do this?

if you have sent 25 different files, receiver will see 25 different files.
You can use acrobat and combine them into one single file and send that one file.

I create ADOBE form and save it from the printing program.
I call to the form in loop, evry time I send it diffrent data.
I want the all the forms will be saved in one file.
I see that the file that created is getting bigger in evry loop, but when I try to opwn it in Acrobat Reader (not from sap) I see only the last page I saved.

Hi,
The problem is that on every form you fet while calling the function module, you get the header information of an ADOBE Forms so when you try to open it you will see the latest one ...
The ideal solution is to merge all your document into one , unfortunately it's not possible while using ADS in SAP .
An alternative for your problem is to modify your form in order to have page break while changing of forms . Then you will retrieve only one form with all page and that should work.

“AdbeRdr11003_en_US.exe” is the download installed on our CEO’s new Windows 8 laptop. It is a Dell XPS Re: Windows 8 Adobe Reader will not fully open a pdf compiled with several pdf's into one - why? Dell XPS 13" . It has a full install Windows 8 Professional for its’ Operating System.
I’ll attempt to attach the file in question. The file opens fine on our Windows 7, and XP computers (with the proper Adobe Reader on each).
Our CEO says there is a message that comes up saying he needs Adobe Flash. I’m attempting to find out whether or not he is trying to open it the ‘Metro’ view, or the ‘Desktop’ view – no answer yet.
If your system strips the attachment, let me know, and I’ll upload the file to an ftp site {if necessary}.

Can Mail send interactive PDF attachments with URL links?

I have tried without success to send a PDF that has URL links embedded (made in InDesign CS3). When this mail arrives the links are stripped out from the attached PDF. I do not want to send html mail for this purpose.

The strong probability is that a SPAM filter in the path to the recipient has stripped them out -- Mail would not cause this. Have you tried opening the PDF with Acrobat Pro, doing a Save As, and then attaching that version to see if the same behavior continues.

Sending a PDF document as a file attachment

Hi,
I have encountered the following problem:
When attaching a pdf document to an email and sending it via Javamail, the resulting PDF document on the other end (i.e. when opened via an email client, such as Outlook) is corrupted and cannot be opened in Acrobar Reader. When doing a side by side comparison with the original file, the emailed document is 1 byte larger than the original (which can possibly cause the "corrupted file error").
Now, this is happening in my company's application and is happening to only one of our customers. This does not happen to 99.9% of them nor can we duplicate it. In addition, it does not happen to all PDF documents, only a few of them.
I have also ensured that our client has the latest version of Javamail and the activation framework jar files.
One thing I have noticed is that the documents are "encoded" as 7bit. This makes sense since the Javadocs explain that if a file is "US-ASCII only" it will be encoded as 7bit, otherwise it will be encoded as base64. Many of our PDF documents are text only.
My side question is, is there a way to force it to encode it as base64 for all pdf documents and would this help?
My main question is: Does anyone know what is happening and what I can do about it?

Only one of your customers. And they can only handle base-64 encoding and not 7-bit encoding of mail messages.
We had the same thing. We send thousands of files every week using JavaMail, most of them PDFs and other files that are all text. Just one of our customers had some cruddy mail handler they had written themselves, or something like that, and it only liked base-64 encoded messages. This was fine for them because MS Outlook automatically does that for attachments regardless, and everybody was using Outlook to send them files. Except us. So we had to set up a hokey scheme where we would send their messages to a local MS Exchange address and have them auto-forwarded to the customer's address. (I couldn't find any way to control base-64 versus 7-bit encoding.)
But that customer wasn't using Outlook to read the messages, so maybe that isn't the problem. We also had a supplier (fortunately an ex-supplier now) who we used to send zip files to (from Outlook even) and their mail server would insert extra line breaks into the attachment, thus making the zip file corrupted. Maybe something like that is happening.
We had another customer who used Lotus Notes as their mail server, and it couldn't deal with our plain ordinary PDFs either. But I think Notes must have had some bug fixes because I haven't heard about that problem lately.

Outlook 2010 corrupting incoming pdf attachments for one user

I have one user here that is having incoming pdf attachments get corrupted in Outlook 2010. When she tries to open the file, it gives
the error "Adobe Reader could not open filename.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)." I can open the pdf files in her
webmail, and I also installed another mail client which can open the same email attachment fine. It is obviously something about Outlook 2010 that is corrupting the pdf. I have a comparison of email headers from a good email and a corrupt email, as well
as a comparison of the content of a good pdf file vs a corrupt one. The corrupt pdf is all zero's. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Please try to save the PDF file to local and then double-click to open it if you haven't tried this.
Also make sure the user has installed the latest version of Adobe Reader.
In addition, did the user get the PDF attached email from an online mail interface? If so, please try to send the user an PDF attachment email using Outlook to check the result. Some email providors (especially web email) encode the PDF's for a faster
transfer but when they are received at the other end, they aren't recognized as a PDF so they get corrupted. See:

How do i load several large movies in one file?

Hi folks -- need help desperately here...
I have four very large Flash movies with audio, a couple of
which are approaching the 16,000-frame limit. I need them all to
play one after the other, in a loop, unattended. I can't copy and
paste all the frames into one file because Flash movies stop
playing at 16,000 frames. After many web searches I've found that I
can supposedly set up a movie that plays all four other movies,
using loadmovie, but I can't seem to find out how exactly.
By the way, I was hoping to play this in a projector file,
but if it must be done in a browser that should be OK, as long as
the browser in question has a full screen mode.
Can anybody give me instructions on how to set this up?

Actually just in trying to find a solution I ended up
creating a movie with just one frame -- it loaded the first SWF
into Level 0. I put script in the last frame of the first movie to
load the second movie into Level 0, and so on until the last movie
loaded the first one in again. So far I have had it running in a
loop with no problem. I'm going to leave it running overnight to
see if there are any memory issues, etc, but so far it's rocking
just fine.

Issues when embedding several subtitles languages in one file - bug?

Dear people
I have added subtitles to a couple of shorts ripped from DVDs and embedded the .srt (sometimes one, sometimes several) using Subler into the m4v.
The results are:
* I can select all the subtitles in iTunes on my Mac, as expected
* on the iPad I can't select subtitles at all (if there are more than one), and I just can see the last selected language I've used in iTunes
Is this a known bug? or a feature? or there is anything I can do?

Hi synapsevampire, thanks for replying. synapsevampire:- Even though i've used Tahoma size 11 fonts, when i open the document in MSWord 2000, they have a size of 10.5.
Same here, I changed it to a Tahoma 11.5 and it results in size 11... Well, i guess it's a bug then. I hope something will be done about it before i have to change all of my reports... synapsevampire: So i guess it's a bug then. I hope it gets corrected before i have to change all reports...
- In the exported file, the "line spacing" setting i have set to "exact 16" is ignored and set to the default "single spacing". This happened in CR 8.5 too.
No surprise there, as those are settings within Crystal, not Word. Very few programatic features are exported to any other format, it just emulates them. I wonder why is that. It shouldn't be that difficult to pass these settings to word. Anyway... synapsevampire:
- Moving textboxes around from one page to another and then saving and reoppening, sometimes causes MSWord to delete all text from the document. I cannot be sure if this is an issue of MSWord or CR XI but i'm reporting it just in case...
Ummm, moving textboxes while in Word you mean? That would be a Word issue. I thought of that too, that's why i tried out the Editable RTF format which was a major dissapointment with the way it handles (or rather does not handle) paragraphs. I really hope something can be done about it because it's a very convenient format, for me at least.
