Sending a Message to log

Hi Guys,
I have small issue regarding sending the warning message to CRMD_ORDER application log.
i have implemented code in BADI CRM_DOC_FLOW.
i am pasting the code which i used for this..
DATA: lr_message_service   TYPE REF TO cl_bsp_wd_message_service.
          lr_message_service = cl_bsp_wd_message_service=>get_instance( ).
          lr_message_service->add_message( iv_msg_type    =   'W'"if_genil_message_container=>mt_warning
                                            iv_msg_id     =  'ZPKI'
                                            iv_msg_number =  '001'
                                            iv_msg_level  =   '1' ) .
Could you please let me know..
Thanks in Advance..

Hello,
the approach you have chosen is better suited to launch a message in a view of a UI component. To write your message to the one order log I would propose to use the FM CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT instead. You can check the implementation CRM_IPM_DOC_FLOW of the CRM_DOC_FLOW BADI as a reference.
Best Regards,
Michael

  • Protocol layer was unable to send a message

    Hi All,
I have searched the KB and have seen that the "Protocol layer was unable to send a message"  is logged.
Just want to ask if there is any progress on this issue.
I am unable to send or reply to my work emails via the Z10. (we use the outlook premium service)
It is very annoying as I really can't use the Z10 right now.
Protocol layer was unable to send a message
    Software version 10.1.0273

there are two articles from the public knowledge base about that error, for very different reasons.
KB33736 "Protocol layer was unable to send a message" when replying to an email on the BlackBerry 10 smartphone
KB34009 "MessageStatus: Protocol layer was unable to send a message" is displayed when sending email with an attachment on a BlackBerry 10 smartphone
The search box on top-right of this page is your true friend, and the public Knowledge Base too:

  • Problem receiving from sender, showing in SmtpReceive log but not Message Tracking

Our Exchange 2007 server (SBS2k8 really) has had problems receiving mail from a certain sender the last few weeks.  With the SMTPReceive set to verbose, I can see the mail coming in but it never shows up in the message tracking logs.
Looking at similar issues, I thought maybe the content filtering agent might have been grabbing it, so I set up a transport rule to take any mail from this particular domain and set the SCL to 0 as well as bcc a copy of it to myself.  But I just noticed
another entry in yesterday's smtpreceive log and that didn't do the trick (or forward a copy to me for that matter).
I'm including some samples from our SMTP log.  I can see that when it works, after the 354 Start mail input line, our server sends a 250 2.6.0 code confirming the message has been queued for delivery, at which point the remote server sends a QUIT and
we close it.  But when it fails, there's nothing after the 354 line.

Interestingly, we used to receive email from this sender in the past.  When it stopped working, it didn't quite stop working outright - at some point after the deliveries stopped, 2 made it in, but nothing again since then.

    Hi,
The first run of Messages will ask you to enter an Apple ID to "register' with iMessages.
If you do not do this but open the App and look in Preferences > Accounts then you will see the iMessages account and the Bonjour Account which will not be activated.
Neither of these two account can be deleted. (even if not being used)
If you then press the + icon to add you will get the choices you posted.
To iMessage you need to "register" and Apple ID with the iMessages service.
As Diane then points out you can link this to your iPhone number.
This "syncs" (Displays on all devices) the various iMessages sent to either iPhone or Apple ID
You can then chose  on both iPhone or Mac version how or which ID/Number is going to be used to "Start the conversations from"
I have my Mac version set to start from my Apple ID and the iPhone from it's number.
At this moment the Mac version cannot send SMS text messages to an iPhone.
This is apparently coming with iOS 8 and OS 10.10 (Yosemite)
An AIM account can send SMS Messages but only to a limited number of USA based phone users on these carriers.
(Basically you add a phone number with country code +1 as a Buddy to your List)
Mocked up number  (It not really an auto responder although you do get sent back and Error message about it not being valid)

    Log Message:
Bug: BLZ-93 - When a producer sends a message to a secure destination with no credentials it causes a security exception to get logged with a log level of error.
    QA: Yes
    Doc: No
    Details:
Updates to catch-all exception logging hinge points on the server to use a new method on MessageException that protects against repeat logging of the same exception as we unwind the call stack on the server, as well as allowing exception subclasses to control the log level, intro text and inclusion of a full stack trace in the logged output. This allows things like SecurityExceptions, which represent common errors like incorrect user credentials, to avoid polluting the log with error-level logging and stack traces. It also consolidates our catch-all handling for MessageExceptions and their subclasses in a single point, avoiding problems with needing to make updates or tweaks to our logging output in multiple places.

One thing I forgot to add, which may be causing you
problems: the "mount volume" command is not part of

I tried the mount command. After executing it in Script Editor, I was prompted with login and password, but it was my Keychain!
I don't know if you have your keychain unlocked or what else..
Maybe the original poster (Rick Anderson) has his keychain locked and the prompt is from it.
    Just a guess...

  • Unable to see custom Trace messages in Log Viewer which were defined in UDF

Hello Experts, I am not able to see my trace messages in Log Viewer. I have a small user defined fuction which takes a variable and returns its uppercase and while do that it writes few warning level trace messages in the trace file. I've tried changing the levels from Warning to Info but I still don't see anything in my Log Viewer. At this point I am not even sure if I am looking at right place. When I test my mapping in Message Mapping's Test tab it works fine and shows me all my trace messages. But when I do end to end it is not writing anything to the trace file. I've tried to use instructions from following blogs:

Thank you Prateek for a quick response.
Yes I was able to see my trace messages in SXMB_MONI. Below is my the info... This is great. I am still not sure why this info is not showing up in Log Veiwer's (default trace) window. Any ideas? Since this XML file contains lots of other information I was wondering how to put my trace messages into the log viewer.
    Thanks!!

I know that some configurations need to be done to be able to send the instant message.

  • My phone keep asking me to sign in to itunes store and will not allow me to download apps. it sends a message saying "Cannot connect to itunes store" what do i do?

my phone keep asking me to sign in to iTunes store and will not allow me to download apps. it sends a message saying "Cannot connect to itunes store" what do i do?

Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it.  So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID).  If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.

  • A copy has been placed in your outbox. sending the message content to the server failed

all of the sudden my phone wont send emial but will receive them. I have tried everything suggested as far as turn on/off, delete acct and set it up again and nothing seems to be working. Can someone help me please?? the error message i receive is "a copy has been placed in your outbox. sending the message content to the server failed"

I think what happened to me was that my yahoo account was compromised by http://thenextweb.com/insider/2013/01/07/yahoo-mail-users-hit-by-widespread-hack ing-xss-exploit-seemingly-to-blame/
Yahoo responds to these reports at the end saying they fixed the issue.  I think what that my mobile yahoo mail was somehow blocked by yahoo because that was the device that i logged into right before (the hacker) blasted all of my inbox.  That is the only thing I can think of.  Exactly 24 hours later I was able to send email.  I did figure out that for the iPhone 4gs you can go into your settings and yahoo mail and change the outgoing server from yahoo to gmail if you have gmail set up on your phone and that will allow you to send from yahoo through gmail.  I also sent a feedback form to yahoo, that is the only way to contact them, and have heard nothing.  There is nothing about this on their support site.  So let us know if after 24 hrs you are magically able to send.   Yahoo really should use that log in history where they can see that a log in has occurred from a strange IP to block that and warn the user.   My log in history right before this happened went:  home IP in the US, home IP, homeIP, home IP, Morroco, home IP, home IP, etc.    So it is blatantly obvious.  My little software company can block IP's, I know yahoo can.

  • When will file transfer be used to send a message?

    Hi,
My understanding is that a message is only sent via file transfer if the size of the message is greater than 75% of the IPC queue capacity; file transfer will never be used in response to a blocking situation that arises due to the number of messages exhausting the queue capacity (this will result in an immediate failure if the TPNOBLOCK flag is used, or else a failure response when the timeout is reached).
We have the following message in the ULOG:
"TMQUEUE.4288.3081606848.0: LIBTUX_CAT:1285: WARN: tpreturn message send blocked, will try file transfer"
Would I be correct in assuming this is because of the size of the message, or is this something specific to TMQUEUE operations? If my understanding of how transfer by disk can occur is wrong, please set me straight!
    Thanks,
    Malcolm.

    Malcolm,
Tuxedo will use file transfer if
    a) The size of the message is greater than 75% of the total capacity of the queue.
    b) The original msgsnd() fails with EINVAL. (Some operating systems have a MSGMAX kernel configuration parameter limiting the size of an individual message which can be set to less than the total capacity of the queue. If an application attempts to send a message greater than this size it will fail with EINVAL.)
    c) The original non-blocking msgsnd() fails with EAGAIN and the message is being sent by tpreturn(). (This is the case where LIBTUX_CAT:1285 is logged.)
    d) The original non-blocking msgsnd() fails with EAGAIN, the TPNOBLOCK option is not set, the original message is over 500 bytes, the TMNOTHREADS environment variable is not set to Y, and the message is not being sent by certain system processes that are always single threaded.
For domain gateways only, the file transfer in case (c) can be avoided if GW_FILETRANSFER=OFF is set.
    Regards,
    Ed

  • Exchange 2010 "This message could not be sent. Try sending the message again later, or contact your network administrator. Error is [0x80004005-00000000-00000000].

Exchange 2010 "This message could not be sent. Try sending the message again later, or contact your network administrator.  Error is [0x80004005-00000000-00000000].
In a mixed client environment, mostly Outlook 2010 & 2013 clients. Only Outlook 2013 clients (about only 4 mailboxes) are receiving this error immediately after sending an email. My temp band-aid at the
moment is to: from the client, go into the "address book" & select a different address book like "Contacts" & then select the address again & select the Global Address List, which is the default. (it will have the users email
+ at the beginning of the field, it reads, Global Address List - (email of the user), then I close Outlook & open it back up, & the problem is solved. But on some mailboxes, not all, the issue comes back. From my research, I know that our individual
mailboxes do not send out over 500 emails in one day. Most users will send out maybe 20 or 30 in one day, so I don't think it's that.
But I'm not sure if this is related, but I have noticed that the log files for the Exchange 2010 seems to only hold logs with date stamps of only a couple of days. It used to hold log files indefinitely until they were archived, deleted, etc. So, this is
a new, unusual issue I have seen as well.
We have 2 .edb's, one active: 78 GB's and one disabled at 7 GB's. Exchange 2010 is running on Windows Server 2008 r2, Enterprise Ed. We have had Exchange 2010 running now for about almost 2 years now and this is the first time this particular issue has come
    up.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
You can refer to the following steps to rebuild an Offline Address Book.
    1. Open EMS. Update OAB using the Update-OfflineAddressbook "offline address book" cmdlet. Restart Background Intelligent Transfer Service on the Mailbox server.
    2. Initiate OAB replication from mail box server to CAS server. Execute for each CAS server using the Update-FileDistributionService "CASServerName" cmdlet.
    3. Start Outlook and download OAB.
What's more, here is an article for your reference.

  • Sending a message to fax using JavaMail

    Hello all,
we are trying to create a system to send messages. The input will come from an Oracle 9i (9.0.2) database, our goal is to create email messages which can either be delivered to an email address or to a fax number.
The systems works if all addresses are regular email adresses, but we get the following message when using a fax number :javax.mail.internet.AddressException: Illegal route-addr in string ``fax:[email protected]''
I have already change the parse-method to parseHeader with the parseOption false, so that the addresses are not controlled against the standard. I expect the ':' (colon) in fax:012345678 is the cause of our problem, replacing it with a random character returns a 'normal' error message for a non-existing address.
I have included the log message with the exception, the sourcecode of our SendMailTest and the source of SendMail.
Is there any work around to this colon, so we can send faxes as well as emails.
    Kind regards,
    Nemata

  • Corruption in Messages/Call Logs. Can't delete, or...

Just recently, for no apparent reason, I have had some serious problems with my N900!
When I try to send/receive a message, it comes up with an error every 30secs -
"Unable to send/receive messages. Device storage full. Free user space."
However, device storage is NOT full. Rootfs is at 76%.
I have two corrupt messages in Conversations, which cannot be deleted. Pressing Delete or Clear Conversation simply does nothing. I also have about 4 calls in recent calls which do not delete. I belive the database is corrupted, and this is causing the problem.
I CANNOT re-flash at the moment, my USB port is broken. However, I can change anything through SSH or xTerm.
Is it possible to simply navigate to the Conversations/Call Logs files through SSH, and delete them, or replace them with virgin ones, to fix this issue??

OUCH! at the USB.  i would send it back for that alone.
    but back to the firmware.
if that is the case, i would try to sync with Outlook via bluetooth to get your contacts and notes, webpages saved, but the hard part is the firware cleanboot.
wihtoue the usb, i am not sure at the moment how to reflash the unit.
when you backed up the unit, it backed up the coruption, so that will do you no good.  you will need to start over.
as soon as you can get this rebooted, i would create a back up to restore to forfuturre reference.

After years of owning all things Mac, I am finally trying to use iChat, and can't get it to work. I am using gmail, and I see my buddy (no camera icon next to her name), but all I can do is send a message--the video and audio chat icons are gray, as is inviting to a video chat under Buddies. My buddy has the same problem as I.  We are able to do video chat through gmail, but I had hoped to use iChat.  I am using OS 10.6.8, iChat v. 5.0.3.  What am I missing?

    HI,
iChat will Video chat to another iChat in a Jabber Buddy List (Google run a Jabber server for GoogleTalk)
However it will not Video to the Web Page login to iGoogle or the Web Mail Page login.  (where people can Google Chat as it were in a  Web Browser).
Nor does it video to the Google Talk Stand alone app for PCs or any other Jabber apps on any platform.
iChat uses a connection Process called SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) which is also used by other VoIP devices.
Jabber/XMPP invited the Jingle Protocol for Jabber Applications.
Google have included this in their Standalone app and the Plug-in for Web Browsers on both PCs and Mac (you can get this as a Standalone Plug-in or as part of Chrome)
More on this here  This article has been changed several time in the recent months.  It now claims a greater involvement by Google in writing the Jingle Library (Although now Google's version does not work with the others)
This tends to mean that using the web Login to Google to Chat also cannot video chat to other Jabber apps that are using Jingle.
If your Buddy is using iChat then check the Video Menu has two items to Enable Camera/Video chat and Microphone/Audio chats are ticked.
In the View Menu the Show Status Items should be ticked (Selecting them toggles the tick and the function On or Off)
It could be Internet speed but at this stage I would doubt this at this stage.
