Sending an e-mail from an ABAP report

I would like to automatically e-mail a report to a user when the report is run. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Is there a function module I can use? Can a document be attached to the e-mail?

we created a dummy abap as last step of each pc-chain and created the msg from this last step.
e.g.:

Export data from the R/3 system from a ABAP report to BW system

Hi Everyone,
I have requirement to export data from the R/3 system from a ABAP report to BW system.
Currently we are planning to create a Ztable to put the data into that, but I would like to know , is there a better way to do instead of going for a Ztable.

In the second option as you mentioned sending the data to BI.
1. Check when u click on second option what is the target details that is showing?( Menas suppose if you send the data using Open Hub u will find the options like FF,Otherparty,etcc...).
2. As you mentioned if you have option to upload the data to Table.Then you can load and u can create the Generic DS.
Issues & Concern
            1. Need to think how the data will be poplated(Means how are going to maintain Delta info records table level before
               populating to it)
             2. whether Ztable should be refreshed before updating R/3 report data to Ztable.
Based on the concerns verify your scenario.If everything ok then u can proceed as per u r plan.

What's wrong with my Apple Mail?! It only retrieves e-mails once I send an e-mail from the account concerned!

Well, that's it really. I need to send an e-mail from an account for apple mail to retrive new incoming mail.
This has started happening since I upgraded to Mavericks. It's very temperamental. Some days it needs massaging to get my mail (as per above), other days it works like a well-oiled machine.
Any thoughts anyone?

I'm using Labview to send an e-mail from outlook and everytime I got a dialogue box which inform that a software is trying to send an e-mail. To send this e-mail I have to confirm operation. How can I avoid this dialogue box ?

I don't know what code you're using but the attached VI works with my version of Outlook and doesn't have any pop-up messages. I downloaded it from somewhere a while ago but don't remember where it was from.

How to send an e-mail from a store procedure

Hi,
I need to find a way to send an e-mail from an store procedure every time a table is fetched.
Is there a way to accomplish this task?. The e-mail should only display the rows in the table (no more than 5 rows) on a daily basis.
Any help or example any of you can provide, it's greatly appreciated.

With Oracle 10g you can use UTL_MAIL to send mails.

The specific text of the error message is very important here — I'm not sure exactly you're encountering here.
If you're able to connect to your email server and are able send email to other email addresses and if the failures are specific to one email recipient address, then please contact the intended recipient of the failing email, and confirm their address is valid. (This is the way I'm reading your question.)
If you are unable to send any email to any other email addresses and this is specific to your email address, then try the web mail client interface (if one is available) to verify your login user and password, and check with your email ISP for assistance. If your email password works via web mail, follow this Apple troubleshooting guide, then — if everything else fails — I'd probably then entirely remove the email account from Mail.app and re-add it per your email ISP's particular setup requirements. (Some issue with the setup or maybe a corrupt setting in OS X or a problem at the mail ISP servers is a common problem, but this effects attempts to send to all email addresses via that account.)

Mail is in a loop. I tried to send a bulk mailing from Filemaker Pro 10 and it has my mail program in a loop.

We have some information stored in a mySQL database which is now required on ABAP reports.
Is it possible to read the mySQL database from an ABAP report? I'm still a bit confused on that.
So far I have setup DBCO with information about the mySQL server using MMS as the DBS because mySQL was not an option. I have made sure we have the latest dbmssslib.dll installed.
When I try to run the following code
EXEC SQL.
    CONNECT TO :con
ENDEXEC.
I get error: SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
Then I have tried to connect using the function CHECK_CONNECTION_SDB.
I get the following messages in the return table:
1     OS-AppServ:Windows NT
2     dbmcli_neg: no_client_software
3     dbmrfc_c_neg: no_client_software
4     dbmrfc_s_neg: no_client_software
5     sql_neg
6     work_proc: 1
Does anyone know what I need to do to connect to the mySQL database.

Thank you for your reply. I've gone through all the documentation you sent and much more and I'm still not sure what the problem is.
One thing that concerns me is that this all relates to MS SQL server and I'm trying to link to a mySQL database. Is this even possible?
Some posts talk about changing Oracle settings and having J2EE installed. Is this necessary to connect to a mySQL database via ABAP?
Which user should I enter into DBCO? Is it the mySQL server user or a SAP user? Does the person in charge of the mySQL database need to add any permissions for SAP to access the database or is that done by the user in DBCO?
Does anyone have any more advice?

Send connector - e-mails from two domains to distinct anti-spam IPs

I have an Exchange enviroment that has two domains. I want that e-mails sent from a domain do the relay to an anti-spam, and e-mails sent from another domain do the relay to another anti-spam.
Example:
I need to config send connector to send the e-mails from "test1.com" to IP 10.160.190.66 and from "test2.com" to IP 10.160.190.69
How do I do?
I need this because each domain uses distincts anti-spam

You can make an object have a mailto: hyperlink that has subject and body variables included.
It would look like this:
mailto:[email protected]?subject=Subject-text-goes-here&body=Body-text-goes-here
Fill in the variables with your own text, and make sure to replace spaces in your subject and body text with figure dashes.
