Sending E-mail by Partner Function when i save an Activity in the IC WC

Hi Experts,
I am trying to send an E-mail to a specific Activity Partner defined in the BP Partner Functions associated with the transaction type after the activity is saved
in the Interaction Center WinClient.
For this, I am using actions profiles and conditions. I have checked that I can send E-mails, but only when I directly specify the E-mail address of the person I want to send the E-mail to in the Action Conditions. However, as I mentioned before, what I need is to automatically determine the BPs E-Mail address from the Business Partner Function (Activity Partner) in the transaction (in this case I am using a contact transaction type) in order to send the E-mail.
Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

I'm facing a similar issue than Alberto, but I' ve already performed the customizing you indicated.
Also, we have maintained as Processing types, a standard "Smart Forms Mail", with the following Mail Settings:
- Form Name                   CRM_ACTIVITY_BUSACT01
- Processing Class            CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
- Processing Method           Z_CRM_ACTIVITY_EXEC_SMART_FORM
- Archive Mode                    Mail Only
Also in the "Define Conditions" customizing, in the "Processing Details" we added "External Communication" and "Smart Forms Email" as Assigned Processings:
- External Communication
   - Communication Method - INT Internet Mail
   - Form Name - CRM_REMINDER_MAIL_01
   - Form Type - Smart Forms
   - Format - CRM_ACTIVITY_EXEC_SF
   - Storage Mode - Send Only
- Email Smart Form (default)
   - Forms Name- CRM_ACTIVITY_BUSACT01
   - Proc Class. - CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
   - Proc Method   Z_CRM_ACTIVITY_EXEC_SMART_FORM
Finally, we assured that the employee email communication data was maintained on the Master Data (trx. BP).
However, although we can receive and send emails to the outside (i.e. SCOT /SMTP are fully customized) I'm not able to send a Email from the business activity to the Employee external email address.
Can you help us?

For shipment document (VT01N / VT02N), I need to send a mail to partner assign to shipping point irrespective of output type.
That is when the user make an output entry as output type, communication medium (email),function(shipping point) and partner for the shipment document and click on save button, the document should go to the partner.

You can use JavaMail, or tcEmailOperations and the NotificationResolver to send email notification. Not sure what help you are looking on this.

Ok so I happened to figure it out while on the phone to apple support. Even though the guy was very nice, I think I knew more than him! He was explaining very basic resolution principles I played about. I had the second option in displays resolution. All I did was unplug the HDMI cable, click on 'best for display' then plugged the HDMI in and my resolution on the normal monitor changed to the normal blue, then went black momentarily and then changed to a strange resolution but another window appeared that said SONY BRAVIA HDMI at the top! Hey presto! Don't know why it didn't do it yesterday - I probably left the HDMI cable in or something! Oh well. Problem solved!

jpeg is a lossy image compression. Try seeting the "quality" input to 100 (default is 80).
I would recommend to use PNG instead, it's a better format for this purpose. (jpeg is for photographs).

Updating partner function when creating customer XD01/XD02

Hello all, I have the following requirement to do:
When creating a customer for a certain account group in XD01/XD02, I need to update the partner functions associated to this customer.
I have tried, the ENHACEMENT SAPMF02D with function EXIT_SAPMF02D_001, but when changing table content T_KNVP, this content is not taken into account and the values are not stored in DB.
I have tried too BADI's CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA and CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA_CS, but the content of T_KNVP in CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA cannot be changed.
I would like to avoid BTE's for now.
Can someone give me a hand on this?

Trigger partner determination when ship-to is changed on the sales order

Hi,
Here is my scenario...
I am defaulting my rail carrier partner function based on the ship-to party partner function into the sales order using the standard configuration i.e. by maintaining SH as entry in the "source" field for rail carrier partner function of the sales document partner determination procedure. Every thing is fine until the ship-to party in the order is not changed by the user. when the user changes the ship-to party the carrier is not re-determined (the old rail carrier partner function which defaulted into the order from the old ship-to party record stays in the document). I know standard SAP doesn't re-determine partners. Can anyone came accross this issue?
I would like to know if there is an user exit that i could use and write a code to trigger parter determination when a ship-to partner is changed in the sales order.

Partner Function Disappears on Save

Hi,
I have a custom relationship linked to a custom partner function.
Whne I create a Partner function, this relationships is created.
There are no time constraints on this relationship and a Sold-to Party can only have one of these relationships.
I have changed to config to give this relationship a time constraint of no gaps, no overlapping and th Sold-to Party can still only have one relationship of this type.
However, when I now go into Sales Area Data and create a new partner function, the relationship is then created in BUT050 when I save but the partner function entry I just made disappears.
Has anyone come across this problem before and know what is causing this?

It is possible to have several GS or PI partner in the vendor master.
it is possible to maintain serveral GS and PI partners in a contract.
Note 459350 - FAQ: Partner determination in purchasing:
In the vendor master, several entries are maintained for one partner function. If none of these entries is flagged as 'default', none of these partners is copied to the document during the purchase order generation via transaction ME59.
However, if you create a purchase order using Transaction ME21 or ME21N, a dialog box for the selection of a partner is generated.

Printer is asking for PDF but when I save psd to PDF the dimensions change

I am trying to save psd files to pdf for a printer. He wants them 3.75 x 2.25 inches. I am creating the psd files in CMYK color as he needs. The dimensions are 3.75 X 2.25 inches but when I save the Photoshop PDF it is much smaller 270 X 262. I don't want to send it to him incorrectly. Any advice for me?

You still didn’t say what the units for those numbers were.
Anyway: pdf is currently the standard for print, and even having to open psd would be time the printers want to save, I guess, or want to get paid for.
Moreover many (or most) print-shops have automatic preflighting-, reseparation- and montage-systems that are based on that format.
If You got a window like this:
you did not open the pdf, but imported it, meaning a complete re-interpretation took place – so even if the pdf may have been at 72ppi it would be up-scaled to the selected values.

Illustrator CS4 removing artboards when i save and re-open the file

I'm using Illustrator CS4 and have multiple artboards set up in a single .ai file. The problem is when I save the .ai file and then close it, when I reopen the file it removes all instances of my previous artboards and replaces it with a single one. Why is this happening? It just started doing this - I was able to open up the file previously and maintain my current list of artboards.

Illustrator crashes when using save as and changing the save location yosemite OS

I am having a problem with illustrator crashing when using save as to save a file to another location than the one it was previously saved in. It will save to the same location just fine but on macbook pro with yosemite os it crashes immediately when i change the save location. Tried reinstall and also tried other users and still does it. Any solutions?

When students save their work to the network share they become .tmp files and are unrecoverable.

The student in our photoshop class have run into an issue when trying to save files. They appear to save fine, however, when they go to open them the files read as .tmp and will not open with Photoshop. Please help.

This is the boilerplate text often used in connection to saving to a network (please NOTE the part where it explains that normally, it does work, but that it is impossible to troubleshoot someone else's network remotely, and that's why it's not supported by Adobe):
If you are opening files over a network or saving them to a network server, please cease and desist immediately in the event you are currently experiencing problems with one or more files. Working across a network is not supported.

Copy the CLOSED file from your server to your local hard disk, work on it, save it again to your local hard disk, close it, and copy the closed file back to the server.

Notification when screen saver goes active

My program needs to know when the Windows screen saver becomes active. Is there some way to catch an OS event that indicates that the screen saver has become active?

Reading here, I think you can use InstallWinMsgCallback() to get the WM_SYSCOMMAND message with WParam == SC_SCREENSAVER when the scrrensaver starts.
In the page I linked there's an explanation on how to detect if screensaver is still running.

Is there is anyway I can sent e mail to user when task assigned to him and released in QN? I checked SWNCONFIG, but I do not know how to use it.

Use follow up action for the task - if no workflow is activated. Like UD follow up actions, you can trigger a follow up action for the quality notification tasks.
In spro - go to additional notification funtions - define follow up action for tasks - here define a follow up action and mark is as task for the notification.
Copy the reference FM in function group QM10 - ( create a Z function gropu copying the same - QM10) and work with your developer to develop the FM to send an email to the person assigned to the task. Assign the same FM to defined follow up actions.
Assign the follow up action to the task - in QS41.

The usual fix: Delete the account from your Preferences and Re-Enter it.
