Sequential Numbering (Ex: Invoices) and #-Up per Sheet

I have a 3 part NCR Invoice which measures 5.5x8.5. In the bottom left corner I need to put sequential numbering beginning with 31677 and continuing on 1,000 times. I am going to copy this sheet and put it 4-up on 11x17 sheet size. Is there anyway i can have Acrobat automatically number the forms correctly? if not, is there a plug-in or another program that will allow me to do this? thanks!

I don't know how to do this in Acrobat, but I could do it in FileMaker Pro in no time.  If I only wanted paper copy I could do this in FrameMaker for output into a pdf file. The advantage FileMaker Pro has is that it could used to store the Invoice data if it was the sort of information you needed to keep track of.

  • A/R invoice and A/R downpayment invoice numbering

    Dear Expert
    My client would like the numbering of A/R down payment invoice and A/R invoice fall into the same sequence to fulfill business needs. i.e. After issued of an A/R down payment invoice (e.g. no. 30), then when issue an A/R Invoice, the document number of the A/R Invoice would be no. 31. After that, if another A/R down payment invoice or A/R Invoice is issued, the document number would be 32.
    Is it possible? If not, are there any workarounds available?

    Problem solved.
    After activated 'Permit more than One Document Type per Series' under Company Details -> Basic Initialisation, go to System Initialization => Document Numbering => Relate Series to Document double click the grey box next to Document type and a window of the Series for that particular document type appears. Click New and Numbering Series  - Set up window pops up. Right click to add a row for new series, enter name, required First No. and Next No. for the series. Also, rememeber to define a new Period Ind. for the Primary Series and click Update. On the window of Series, uncheck the box for Primary Series and check the box for the newly created series, click on the number next to the newly created series name to highlight the row and click Set as Default. Finally, click update to confirm the changes and now the document will follow the newly created series.

  • How do I print front and back with two pages per sheet? (OSX Lion)

    I can't find a simple solution to my situation...
    I'm using Max OSX Lion 10.7.3 and Adobe Reader X 10.1.2. 
    I want print two PDF pages onto one printed sheet, and I want to print front and back.  When I go to the print settings and select two pages per printed sheet, the sample window shows me what I'm looking for.  But when I tell it to print odd only or even only, it changes the print selection.  Here's what happens...
    Let's say I have a PDF document that is 20 pages long.  When I tell it to print two PDF pages per sheet, it shows me that the first pages printed will be PDF pages 1 and 2.  When I tell it that I want it to print odd pages only, it tells me that the first printed page will contain PDF pages 1 and 3.
    In other words, Adobe Reader wants to print the odd PDF pages instead of the odd pages of the printed document (PDF pages 1 and 2, then 5 and 6, then 9 and 10, so on).
    So that I'm being clear...
    This [  ] is a printed page.  The numbers inside the brackets represent the page numbers in the PDF document...
    What I want to print is this...
      FRONT   ||  BACK

    Aside from telling it exactly which PDF page numbers to print (this would be a taxing job because I'm working with a 273 page document), is there an easy and simple way to print how I'd like?

    I would suggest to use Adobe Ilustrator. Also I get an error message when I try tp access the sample document.

  • Ipad form ....help needed please.  Clear form after email as read only and sequential numbering

    i am a complete novice at this however this is what I want to achieve.
    i Have a paper duplicate report sheet that I want to get electronically, I want to be able to add sequential numbers to each report and be able to email the report to the client from a email field in the form
    so far I have so I have created the pdf form, I have a button that runs a JavaScript that will hide the submit button and then send to the clients email and to bcc myself so I have a copy of the report also. This has been tested and works
    i Am struggling with sequential numbering and once the form has been emailed it's un-ditable as the JavaScript has converted it to read only for emailing which is good as it can't be edited. But Is there a way on my submit button to email the report as read only and then clear all form fields in the report ready for filling with the next sequential number?
    I Have had a good look sound for a resolution to this but am struggling

    I presume that you are using the desktop version of Acrobat Pro to author the form.

    Please note that the Reader/Acrobat DC mobile apps (for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, etc.) have limited JavaScript support.

    You may be able to make the form work as you want in the desktop version of Adobe Reader/Acrobat Reader DC.  However, some functionality (e.g adding a sequence number to each PDF) will not work in the mobile apps due to the limited JavaScript support.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

          Above 10 lacs- rate is 2.5%.
    suppose i have paid the vendor Rs 8 lacs till yesterday, as the amount is below 10 lacs iam calculating 2% tds. Assume that iam paying 4 lacs today. so the total amount paid is Rs 12 lacs as of now, as the total exceeds Rs 10 lacs i have to collect TDS at 2.5% on Rs 4 Lacs. i need my SAP system to calculate the 0.5 % (2.5% - 2% ) TDS on the Rs 8 lacs which is invoiced / paid till yesterday.
    ? is it possible in SAP, if yes pls let me know.

  • Apple Mail - Printing without margins and/or headers, multiple pages per sheet

    I have orders coming in by email that I need to print out as packing sheets/order tickets. In the email I have the submissions set to come in as html tables, all of a uniform size. I want to print 4 per page, and can do that by selecting 4 emails, "Print", and then 4 pages per sheet in the print settings and it gives me 4 unique orders on one sheet. But the giant standard margins make it so the submission tables are way too small (they could easily be almost double the size and fit fine on the sheet) and I don't want the email header information displayed. This really doesn't seem like too much to ask, I hope it's not really as impossible as all the forums make it seem! In another forum, BDAqua mentioned possibly making a script for this?
    The order submissions are generated from my form on Jotform. This is a great form builder, at least in my first-time experience, but seems lacking in output options - reports can only be generated as tables, and on the web-based submission viewer the print options are extremely limited as well. I have also experimented with Excel: Jotform will export submissions all together on one excel spreadsheet, but in my situation that would mean I would have to figure out how to print each row separately. I spent some time on the excel forums and from what people said it sounds like a huge headache and very tedious. I created this form in order to save a lot of time in taking down orders, so it would be really nice to be able to print them directly in quarter-sheet format. Even in full-sheet format, I still wouldn't want the email headers or all the white space.
    Any ideas? I'm running 10.9 on a 2009 MacBook Pro 13", and have a basic Brother HL-2070N laser printer and an Epson Workforce 610 (DC8508) - either would serve the purpose, but I doubt this issue has anything to do with which printer I'm using. Thanks for any ideas/feedback!

    What you are wanting to accomplish, can be done, but it is not necessarily a simple task and is going to require at least a modicum of programming skill. Filemaker comes first to my mind as offering reasonably powerful data extraction and analysis capabiity as well as the ability to store the transactions in a database and analyze the data in an almost infinite variety of ways. However, this will require the services of a Filemaker analyst and programmer to create and maintain the system. Don't forget the system will need almost continuous maintenance and enhancement.
    If you can change the way you receive the orders, there is a large number of shopping cart systems offered by virtually every internet hosting firm that can be adapted to a wide variety of marketing activities and they maintain staffs of programmers to handle the adaptation and maintenance -- at a price. 

  • Printing multiple pages per sheet using a PostScript driver and GhostScript.

    I have three PDF files containing a total of 165 pages. I would like to print 162 of these pages onto two sides of a 8.5 × 11 in. "Letter" size paper. That is 81 pages per sheet. I don't care about loss of clarity or readability, just that fact that there are 81 (or I suppose 80 would be possible and would fit much nicer) pages of the document shown. I've seen this done before, so it is possible. It involved printing using a PostScript driver. I don't own a PostScript printer, so GhostScript will take the resulting PostScript document and print it on a non-PostScript printer.
    The first issue I'm having is with using the PostScript driver to print 80 pages per sheet. The only printing options I can find allow you to print 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, or 16 pages per sheet, no customizable value present.
    Does anyone have any words of advice or a source for information on the process of how this can be done? Thanks in advance.

    There's no "Custom..." to choose from.
    Edit: Alright! I solved my own problem. In order to print a customizable number of pages per sheet 'Page Scaling', under the 'Page Handling' section of the  'Print' window, must be set to "Multiple pages per sheet". At this point more options populate the window, one of which is a new but seperate dropdown for 'Pages per sheet' with "Custom..." as a selection. This is different, however, from the 'Print' window's 'Properties' sub-window which has a form entry drop-down for 'Pages Per Sheet'. Hurray for unintuitive software GUIs! Hopefully this post will help others.

  • ERS generated Invoice Not Editable when Sequential Numbering is enabled

    Dear All,
    We have an issue of the ERS Generated invoice (Autoinvoice) number not editable, if the Sequential Numbering Profile option is set to YES.
    We need to keep the Sequential Numbering enabled to generate the Voucher Number.
    In the case of ERS generated Invoice, the Voucher number won't get generated automatically, if we do the validation of the Invoice.
    But normally created invoices will be generating the Voucher Number, when a validation of the invoice is done, even though the Sequential Numbering profile option is NOT set.
    Our requirement is that the ERS generated Invoice number should be editable, as well as the Voucher Number should get generated automatically when a validation of the invoice is been done.
    How can we achieve this..? Please update....

    Have you checked  whether the POdelivery (PO quantity) has cmpleted in the previous invoice? Is the PO marked for ERS? If no please mark for ERS. I hope this will help you. Thanks

  • Reserve Invoice and Serial Numbers

    Dear experts
    The challenge I've got is that  my customer have to use an A/R Reserve Invoice in order to deliver/Invoice product to
    their customer before perform the landed costs transaction. This have to do with time (in some cases most of the
    landed cost amounts are not available)
    The problem is that the items are managed by serial numbers (medical equipment). Since it is not possible to
    allocate serial numbers using A/R Reserve Invoice I just wondered if anyone has found a workaround for this in B1?
    Does anyone have any ideas how I could possibly resolve this?

    In order to help you can you please tell us why your customer cannot pick the serial number when the delivery is made?
    Why does your customer need to select the serial number at the moment of the AR Reserve Invoice that is not a stock document?
    Also, you mentioned the landed costs that are a purchase document. I cannot understand the relation between the AR Reserve Invoice and the landed costs.

  • Best Place to Purchase Dynamic PAID Stamp and Sequential Numbering Stamp?

    I'm trying to find the best way to have a dynamic PAID stamp that I can input the date and method of payment, as well as a stamp to sequentialy number different paragraphs in a document (currently I have to insert a small text box with the # I want, then copy, paste, and edit that same text box for the next paragraph I want to number). Just downloaded the free trial of Acrobat XI Pro, and it has no better features to meet these need than the Acrobat X Standard I have been using. Yes, I know dynamic stamps can be created, but I would rather find a good place to download what I need or a good 3rd party software for stamps, for a reasonable price, and not spend the time and effort building something from scratch.
    If someone knows the best way to go about this, will I need to upgrade from X Standard to XI Pro to execute these stamps?
    Is there a sequential numbering stamp tool that will stamp numbers one after another with a left click rather than having to select the stamp icon each time?

  • How to print Sequential  Numbers like purchase order?

    I ma new to mac and Numbers 09 and have a quick question. How do I print sequential numbers? I have my own MS Excel purchase order number with macro and I want to use Iwork Numbers to print the numbers. For example, Purchase Order: 70085-1 is in my form. When I ask to print 20 copies, it will print 70085-1, 70085-1, 70085-3, etc.

    I've been using numbers to do my invoicing for a few years now and I think it works well.
    I'd like to add a little sophistication to my invoicing system, but I'm not quite sure how to do a couple of things. Here is my setup...
    All of my invoices for a given year are in one document. Each invoice is a new sheet in that document.
    I'd like to have some automation, where everytime I insert a new sheet (new invoice) it will...
    A. Assign the new sheet a new invoice number in a specified cell, that number being one higher than the last invoice number.
    B. Add a new line(s) to my master sheet (still in the same doc) with that new invoice number and a couple of other details from the invoice, like total, client name, etc.
    If I can just get started with one of these.. I'm sure I can figure out the rest.
    Any ideas?

    I apologize but it seems that you are using a wrong terminology.
    Sheets have no cell. A sheet is a container in which we store tables.
    So, I guess that your document's structure is in fact :
    one sheet containing
    one main table
    and several invoices tables.
    I'm busy on a script doing what you ask for.

    Is it in a footer row or in a standard one ?
    Creating a table with a footer row is not an easy task if the document was not created from a templates defaulting on a table with such a row.

  • Maximum number of Tables per Sheet?

    Hi All,
    I am doing up a wine list in Numbers, so its all straight and neat. Question is I've added an eighth table to the sheet and cant move any or delete anything.........is there a maximum number of tables per sheet? OR am I just plain dumb?????????
    Any input to the former would be great as I already realise the latter!

    For a long time I thought, like you, that a sheet is restricted to 255 tables.
    Some times ago, I began to think that I may be wrong.
    I wrote a script creating tables.
    At this time there are 2217 tables in the sheet 1 and the script is designed to reach 4000 tables
    Here it is :
    tell application "Numbers" to tell document 1 to tell sheet 1
    set nbr to get count of tables
    repeat 3999 times
    set nbr to nbr + 1
    make new table with properties {name:"table " & nbr, row count:5, column count:5}
    end repeat
    end tell
    I run it on a document created from the Blank template : one sheet, one table.

  • Excise invoice and domestic invoice sharing same number range

    Hi,gurus,my question is addresed to the sap cin gurus
    Scenario:-- Normally sap has provided provisions that the domestic invoice and the excise for the export will have different number range object
    Transaction-snum or snro(As per the rule the no range has to be approved by excise authorities)
    Requirement:--The present requirement of the client is that as per their requirement they will be using the same excise number range both for domestic and the export(They have got the approval from the excise department as per the amendment,that specifies the same)
    so i request you to pls guide me as how can it be done in sap that two different business process will share the same number range.
    as per my knowledge local excise number range is-J_1IEXCLOC
    and for exports is-J_1IEXCEXPand the both will use the same number range and,suppose 1 local invoice is created and say if the no is 1,then if the export excise invoice is created the number will be 2,pls guide me how is it possible that the same number range should be used.

    Dear sir,Thanks for attention towards the issue,but still i need to clarify some details-
    the number range forJ_1IEXCLOC are already configured .It is not the case like i have to configure it for the first time however ,so the issue remains how shall i proceed in this case
    Sir,i have already checked the transaction j1iin,it does not give any such box to check the-use local no range
    infact the error message which the system was throwing to the user that-number range object not assigned for Object: J_1IEXCEXP.
    The question remains from my side is what are the complete configuration steps I need to do ,to make the check box appear so as to select-use local number range,and is there any thing to be conveyed to my developer,so that the same appears,
    or is it the case like the anything should earlier have been done before the number range for J_1IEXCLOC was created.i would request u to pls guide me giving the complete details of the step to be followed.

  • Dunning - Interest and Fee per Letter

    I have set up interest and fee per letter in the Dunning Terms and when I run the Dunning Wizard I see these amounts for each of the Business Partners Invoices. Where I am having an issue is getting these values to be displayed in the PLD, are these variable fields - if so what is the variable number, if they are database fields - then which table and column are they?

    Found the template, it was at level 3 that there is interest calculated. Why wasn't it included for all dunning levels?
