Service charge settlement to 2 Business Partners assigned to a contract

Please can someone explain how to settle service charge costs to 2Business partners'accounts. For example if we have a rental unit with a tenant and also a landlord of that rental unit and both are picking up costs for different service charge costs or the same service charge costs, how will these be apportioned to both of them.
I have tried assigning 2business partners to one service contract but after running the service charge settlement, the costs were only settled into one business partner's account.

please check if the functionality Condition Split, available with Enhancement Package 2 in Business Function RE_GEN_CI_1, might meet your requirement. Further information is available in the release notes of the Business Function.

    Purpose
    You use service charge settlement to distribute apportionable costs that arise during a particular settlement period to the tenants.
    Process Flow
    Below is a description of the processes involved in service charge settlement.
    I.    Master Data for Settlement Unit, Rental Object, and Contract
           1.      Enter measurements in each participating usage object.
           2.      Assign the usage objects to a participation group for each business entity.
           3.      Create a settlement unit for each service charge key, and assign the rental objects participating in the settlement to this settlement unit using the participation group.
    If costs for more than one settlement unit were jointly invoiced, you must create a master settlement unit.
           4.      The settlement participation is automatically generated for each contract. However you can define exceptions in each contract.
    II.   Incoming Invoice Posting
    Account assignment of service charges is made to the respective settlement units or master settlement units in the Financial Accounting (FI) component. The settlement amount is transferred automatically to the correct settlement period by means of the settlement reference date.
    For postings with extended withholding tax, only advance payments posted as revenue are considered for the conditions relevant for service charges. The system does not support special general ledger processes with withholding tax. The standard withholding tax term is often used during service charge settlement. You can determine the term from the conditions only in the Transfer Posting Advance Payments Debit Balance settlement mode.
    III.  Execute Service Charge Settlement
    Execute the service charge settlement run at the end of the settlement period:
    ·        Advance payments are transferred in a batch input session.
    ·        There are several steps involved in the settlement. You can save each step (except posting) and call it again.
    ·        The results of settlement can be posted directly to Financial Accounting.
    For more information on performing service charge settlement, refer to Simulating and Executing Service Charge Settlement.
    Result
    Depending on how you set it up, the service charge settlement performs the following activities:
           1.      Calculation of total costs for the settlement period for each service charge key
           2.      Cost apportionment to the relevant contracts or rental objects
           3.      Posting of cost shares to tenant accounts
           4.      Determination of the advance payments (actual payments) made by the tenant for which credit transfer postings are made

    My client wants their customers to pay their bills when they have recivecd their bills. How should thisa be represented in the SAP system . The flow types available in the system are those for advance payments and flat rates. Which flow type should i adopt for this scenario?

    You should acticate the service charge settlement functionality.
    1. one posts the incoming invoices on settlement units
    2. one runs the service charge settlement which distribute the costs to the rental units and invoices the tennat if he participates in the service charge settlement (which generates open items in FI)
    3. one runs the invoice processing (which is based on the open items in FI

  • Service charge settlement - cannot settle Settlement Units.

    Hello,
    I am trying to run RESCSE (service charge settlement) for a BE. After I have run the job, the job finishes very fast (less than a minute) and shows the status as 'finished'. When I am looking at the Settlement Unit under the BE, I find that for that month (for which the settlement was run), the status shows the symbol of a lock. Nothing seems to have been settled.
    When I went back to the job log to check the steps, I found that though the job has finished, it has one line which says "batch processing not possible". But when I had run RESCSE, I had run it ONLY for this BE and not as a batch. Also, it has a line that shows that a settlement id has been generated but next to it is written, successful steps: 0; incorrect steps: 1.
    Can someone please guide me how to investigate this issue?

    Reg this SCS you can settle it to Contract level only .You can not settle to pertaining to the object .
    Check in the  contract u have given the participation group as BE or not.

    This report can be access from  sap guid Marketing->Tools->exter tools.

    I've got the following problem. I want to assign business partners to a position in organisation management. When doing this, the following error occurs:
    "Object cannot be assigned to object xxx in the period xx.xx.xxxx - xx.xx.xxxx"
    (xxx is the position to which the business partner should be assigned)
    The number of this error message is 5A368.
    Diagnosis in the detailed description of this message:
    "The object period of object '1st Level Support' is not within the relationship period 26.03.2007 - 31.12.9999."
    I've changed the object period of the position "1st Level Support" to several other dates, but it did not solve the problem.
    The described problem does not occur, when assigning an user to this position.
    Can anybody help me with this problem? I'm using SolMan 4.0.

    Thanks for your answer so far. Unfortunately it's not possible for me to upgrade to SP11. So I tried to solve the problem the way you described. I double-clicked the position on the left, the desired position is shown in the main screen and I try to assign the business partner to the position. But the same error appears.
    Are there any other possible solutions?
    What are the consequences of assigning users to a position instead of business partners?

  • One ANI assigned to multiple business partners

    Hello,
    we have the following issue in our CRM 5.0 CIC implementation (winclient).
    When a phone call is received, if
    the phone number of the caller (ANI) is assigned to more than one
    business partner, no identification of the business partner is done.
    Thus, what the customer agent must do is go to tab "Extended Search",
    and push the button "Display All partners" . This way,
    all the BP with this ANI are shown.
    My question is: Is there a way to have a pop-up shown automatically, with the list of possible business partners, when the phone call is received?

    But for production system i can assign the BP with out any issue

    Vijay,
    There should be some relationship attached to those BP. Select any BP for which you are getting error, go to trx BP --> Open that BP --> then go to "RELATIONSHIP" tab and check. If entries there, you can delete those realtionship and try again.

    Hello, I am working on a SAP CRM 7 Sales implementation and we are implementing leads and opportunity scenarios. The current business organization model is that there multiple vertical and horizontal departments. This is typical matrix structure. This organization has done the segregation of its clients based on the verticals so every clients belongs to at least one or more Vertical department but Horizontal departments can contact all the clients. In the same way sales executives are also either belonging to one or more Verticals or Horizontal departments? Horizontal sales executive can create leads for any clients available in the system but a Vertical sales executive can only create lead only for the client belongs to his vertical and assigned to him. This can be achieved by creating organization structure and business partner relationship.
    Now the problem statement is that few sales executives need work for both some Verticals and Horizontals at the same time. But requirement is that they should be able to do the both roles with single user id but multiple roles. So when sales executive is creating leads his vertical department, he should only be able to select clients assigned to his Vertical only but when he is creating lead for Horizontal department, he should be able to select any clients.
    So Can I determine the business partners linked to user based on the assigned role and org. structure?
    Please let me know if this is not clear also  note we are only using CRM WebUI no SAP ePortal.

    I need a help regarding Service Order Settlement assigned to Profitability Segment.
    Currently, in our system every item of SD Invoice posts revenues and COGS to profitability segment (PSG).
    Main characteristic of PSG are: Customer, Product, Division, Profit Center.
    We have implemented CS module using in Car maintenance service.
    And now in CS module it is not possible to get PA document automatically after an invoice posting so we have to settle Service Order to PSG.
    But Settlement rule for Service Order is not on item level (per every material-product separately).
    We wants to have the same rules (per Product char.) for Service Order as we had so far in SD.
    Is it possible to customize Settlement rule of Service Order on item level?

    Hi Experts,
    I have created Solution for my Satellite systems in Solution Manager , I followed below path to Create and Assign the Component Systems as iBase .
    1) DSWP> I have Selected  a Solution and went to EDIT tab>Initial Data Transfer for IBase.
    I got message IBASE generated Successfully.
    <u>After that I am trying to Assign Business Partners to iBase Components</u>
    2) T code : ib52 >Installed Ibase : 01 and I have selected component then went to Goto Tab> Partner , there
    I have Function , Partner , Main Partner , Address fields
    Under function I have Sold-to-party , Reported by , System Administrator functions.
    Now my question is
    If I select 1) Reported by  function what is the corresponding partner i have to select.I have created 200 keys users.
                Like that for  Sold-to-Party and  System adminstartor functions what partner I have to assign.
    Pls help me , i got stuck up here.

    Dear Rajani,
    Normally you need to assign the following business partners to the IBASE components :
    Administrator  --> Person who is the administrator of the System.
    Key User       --> Who is responsible for the system like an Module Lead.
    Sold-to Party  --> Oraganization which is responsible for the System.
    So let's say in my organization Amit.inc i have the following systems :
    System A --> Administrator A --> Person responsible C
    System B --> Administrator B --> Person responsible D
    I would have the following assignments of BP's
    System A :
    Administrator     --> BP for A
    Key User          --> BP  for C
    Sold-to Party    --> BP for Amit.inc
    I hope that the example is clear enough.

  • Assiging wbs element as settlment receiver in service order settlement

    Hi PM CS Experts.
    We are using scenarios of creation of service order from sales order. So whatever cost we incurred for service order settling to sales order via settlement rule - settlment receiver is Sales order i.e. SDI. We are using settlement profie XX which have default object type for settling SDI.   While releasing the service order the settlement rule created with settlement receiver is SDI.
    Now for different business scenarios, we are settling service order cost to WBS. Now we want to create a settlemetn rule for WBS, settlement receiver will be WBS element,  while saving the service order.  What configuration, master data or processes we have to follow for this.

    Sales Order line item have account assignment WBS element. From this sales order line, a service order will be created.   So our idea is whatever cost booked to service order should be settled to wbs element instead of sales order.  
    also in location tab of service order, the wbs element from sales order is not inherrited in account assignment section.  Why this we are not knowing. Have you have any idea for this.

  • Business partners synchronization

    Hi
    We have FSCM configured with collections, disputes and Credit management. All 3 of them are active and working in production. We are migrating another business into existing implemented SAP FSCM.
    In Existing implementation we have business partners created for every customer created in AR. All of them were numbered sequentially ranging within 8 digits (ranging from 20000000 to 89999999). We have activated customer master data synchronization and whenever a new customer is created a BP gets created automatically with the same number range (Customer to BP sync is activated with BP having same number range as in customer master but it is set as External numbering in BP numbering). We also had customer contact details created. Contact persons were also having BPs created internally (in background) for every contact person is created in AR. Contact person in AR doesn't need a number range but since BP needs a number, it was assigned to a series of number range starting from 00001 to 10,000 and they were set to internal number range. Customer contact persons were almost 8000 and all those internal numbers were used and created as business partners till 8000.
    Since we are bringing new customers from new business we have customers whose numbers are under 10,000 as well. Since we wanted to keep the numbers same, I have to make adjustments to business partner number range and I have changed BP number range from 1 to ZZZZZZZZZ (and kept external) so that it can accept all number ranges from customers as is. However the new customers are still having issues as system cannot create new BP for new customer as numbers under 10,000 were already used in existing system.
    Is there a way, I can delete all existing 10,000 business partners which were created as BP and re-use these numbers for new customers?
    Can I overwrite all this data with new customer master data being created?
    Can I delete the link between Customer & BP for existing ones?
    If I can delete a link and overwrite new data, can they be linked to customer master which is needed?
    Any suggestions or any ideas please?

    Thanks for quick reply Mark.
    We did not create new account group at customer master and we are creating customers in the same account group. However we had to adjust number range from ( 20000000 to 89999999) to (1 to 89999999). Due to this I had to adjust BP number range also from (20000000 to 89999999) to (1 to 89999999 or ZZZZZZZZ ). Customer creation was fine for new customers which were under 10,000 but business partner is conflicting with existing BPs which were created as contact person.
    Since we are not using BP's for contact person in any place, they are of no use sitting as business partner and using the numbers. Hence I am trying to delete existing BPs which were under 10,000 to free up the numbers to re-use for new customers.
    Any more suggestions please?

  • Initial Load of IS-U business partners to CRM - bdoc error

    Hi Gurus,
    i try to do an initial download from R/3 IS-U to CRM. Several objects from customizing have already been downloaded successfully. When downloading the business partners i get a bdoc error message for every single BP saying that
    'business partner role MKK is not available' Number R1206
    I figured out that the business partners in IS-U do have that role 'Contract partner' (which is technical 'MKK') and that data is maintained there. I also checked CRM and figured out that a business partner role 'contract partner' is not available there.
    Should i create it manually?? It is nowhere mentioned that a CRM role 'contract partner' should be created manually. Shouldn't the middleware do that? I found a document on service marketplace called 'IS-U specifics on the setup and load guide for the business partners' where i can read:
    'Sold-to-parties in CRM are replicated as contract partners in the OLTP system and vice versa'
    Does that mean that this mapping of roles is hardcoded? Is it customizeable? Does somenone know where to customize the mapping of business partner roles?

    Looks like as if you haven't activated the IS-U specific FM "COM_BUPA_MWX_BPS_FILL_ISU" in the BP middleware framework where the conversion between the IS-U role "MKK" and the CRM role "CRM000" takes place:
    Check via SM30 table com_bupa_call_fu in the IS-U system if the above FM is activated.
