Hi Friends,
When I click on "bank Information" or "Personal Data" I get the error:
The ASSERT condition was violated., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
For the "Address" it's fine,
Any idea on this error?

you mean you are getting 'Asset condition violated' for the bank information.
Please check the usecase that you have maintained for the bank in the view
v_t7xsspersubtyp. This happens when you assign a usecase which is not allowed.

Change Trip throws WDDynamicRFCExecuteException with SERVICEKEY_INVALID
Hi All,
I've stumbled across a problem that I've been looking into for a while now and not been able to get to the bottom of. When a user navigates to the my trips and expenses on the ESS applications and either selects a trip and then clicks on change, or creates a new expense trip the application throws an exception of type WDDynamicRFCExecuteException - the cause apparently is that the service key is invalid (SERVICEKEY_INVALID). So far I have:
Checked all services and resources to make sure everything is there and not disabled
Compared with our UAT environment where everything works fine
Checked all the logs (not enough information to point you to the source of the problem)
Checked all connections and made sure all wd applications are up and running
Checked deployment folders for errors
In addition to the above, I have searched SDN, google and serviceplace but with no luck. There are a few threads in the forums and I've been through all of them but none of them really give a solution or cause of the problem. On one of the threads the creator re-installed the xss and ess components. I'd rather avoid that unless I know that this is the problem.
What's even more annoying is that this used to work a couple of months, obviously something has happened between then and now but according to our basis team there have been no updates - at least none that have not been tested or applied to UAT (where everything works), and noone has supposedly been in to the system and made changes...
Anyone stumbled on to this and might know what the problem is, or who can point me in the right direction?

thanks for your reply. The problem is that this is the standard eExpenses wd applicationa and I'm not sure which function module it uses without importing into NWDI/NWDS and checking. But I will have to do that anyway to make some changes so I'll have a look. It's a very strange error and the message in the exception doesn't really point you in the right direction. Check the return message from bapi,what's it showing??Before executing the bapi,put a breakpoint in r/3 system & check what values r getting passed to bapi..
U can check this in transaction se37,go to ur function module & put external break point over there.
OR
Execute BAPI through SAP GUI. if its execute properly do the following steps.
1. Do you have any mandatory input parameters?.
(check are you setting mandatory input parameters properly)
2. If they changed BAPI structure(data type) after model generation you have to model re-import model again.

In order to use Life and Work Events application (For Non US)..
I updated the process template id in resource definition in SPRO transaction.
Earlier it was :
URL Parameter : process.template.id=CECE64A19C8F11DAA5C1000E7FA67AEB&process.autostart=true (for US)
now I have changed it to
URL Parameter : process.template.id=CE140F51C11711D9824C000BCD45EE55&process.autostart=true (for non US)
So now I guess I am actually picking up non US application..
But now when I try to access application :

Family/member dependent
I am getting below error :

When I am trying to view the org chart, I get an RFC expcetion on the screen. It dumps in R/3 and the dump says.
<b> User "MSS_USER1" has no RFC authorization for function group "SYSU".</b>
But the user MSS_USER1 has SAP_ALL as of now.

For testing purposes its a good idea to use custom role to ensure you take care of authorization at time of config/developments.

EP 7.0 ESS Create Expense Report Exit Button

We are implementing Travel using EP7.0. While testing the Create Expense Report, everything is working as expected. We have a problem while trying to edit a previously saved trip. During editing all functions work fine. If the user clicks the Exit button whil editing the previously sved trip we receive 2 different errors from different screens. The first error occurs when trying to exit from the General Trip Data screen: com.sap.tc.webdynpro.modelimpl.dynamicrfc.WDDynamicRFCExecuteException
The second error ocurs from the screen for Record Expense Receipts:
The following ABAP Exception occurred: SERVICEKEY_INVALID
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.modelimpl.dynamicrfc.WDDynamicRFCExecuteException
Again, this only happens while editing a trip, not during creation. Any help would be appreciated. I believe there may be a config issue but wanted to see if anyone else had this issue.

I had the developers create a delta link to the SAP provided iview My Trips and Expenses. I then copied the following parameter into the Application Parameter field on the iview. This allowed the exit button to work properly.
EMPLOYEE_TRAVEL_ERP2005_PAG&sap.xss.menuargrp=SAPDEFAULTESS_ERP2005&sap.xss.menuhdr=SAPDEFAULT

ESS Guided Procedures My Firs Days link, GRANT POINTS!!!!

I have created a custom GP for the First Days in ESS and I have to replace existing First Days GP
Area Page for Life and work Events contains links (eg First Days , Benefits etc) First Days link trigger execution of GP, calling it by Process ID
Question: Where in IMG, I configure that relation
My First Days Link --- Guided Procedure Process ID?In continuation of my question...
In order to use Life and Work Events application (For Non US)..
I updated the process template id in resource definition in SPRO transaction.
Earlier it was :
URL Parameter : process.template.id=CECE64A19C8F11DAA5C1000E7FA67AEB&process.autostart=true (for US)
now I have changed it to
URL Parameter : process.template.id=CE140F51C11711D9824C000BCD45EE55&process.autostart=true (for non US)
So now I guess I am actually picking up non US application..
But now when I try to access application :
Personal Data in My first days
Family/member dependent
I am getting below error :
The following ABAP Exception occurred: SERVICEKEY_INVALID:
