Set amount of TV overscan - possible?

I've got a Mini DVI -> s-video adaptor that I use to hook my macbook up to my old CRT TV to play videos. It works a treat, bar one thing: With overscan turned off, the picture is cut off a fair way inside the TV, but with overscan turned on it cuts off a fairly large amount of the picture.
So my question is: Is it possible to set the amount of overscan for a given external display? Something between the two extremes of "none" and "cut off a quarter of the picture" would be great.
I couldn't find anything in the display preferences, so I'm hoping there may be some magic plist-manipulation that I can do.

You have the compare function implemented incorrectly. You need to make sure that the first terminal of the "Greater than or equal" function connected to the output of the sum, and the second terminal to the tick count in the while loop. The first terminal corresponds to x parameter and the second terminal is for the y parameter. So if x is greater than or equal to y, then the loop will need to exit.
You can see how long a subVI is taking if you put a flat sequence structure within your subVI around the entire subVI code. The first frame would only have a tick count going into an indicator, the middle frame your normal code, and then the final frame would contain another tick count wired into another indicator. Then you can subtract the second indicator value from the first and get hold long it took to execute the middle (core) of your code for that subVI.
I highly suggest using the highlight execution and probes and other debugging techniques such as breakpoints to diagnose where the data is being held up.

Continuing a loop for a set amount of time

I'm am trying to alter a previously written program have run into a problem.
The program is set up so that when the input exceeds a set level an output voltage to a buzzer is created; the buzzer continues as long as there is an input. What I need it to do is to continue this output for a set amount of time.
I've been searching the forum and found this straight forward solution from adamsjr.
"The easiest way to do this is to use a two Tick Count functions. The first
one is outside of a While loop, the second one is inside of the While loop.
Wire the first one through a tunnel into the While loop, add on the appropriate
ms (5*1000), wire the sum to one input of a compare function. Wire the
other input of the compare function to the second Tick Count function. Exit
the loop when the compare shows the second Tick count value is greater than
the summed value."
I've got placed the output subVI into a while loop and followed the above directions and this doesn't seem to work. I'm wondering if I would also have to include the input subVI into the loop or is there another possible solution

Here is our scenario.
We create sales order for very large Roofing jobs. Sales order will have 1 or 2 Items. However, each item has Billing plan with multiple entries like Down payment Inv, Partial Inv and Final Inv. We want to create Pro-Forma Invoice so we can just send Invoice to customer, with no effect on our AR side. I created Sales order with 2 Items. When I created Pro-Forma Invoice using VF01, it created 2 Invoices for 2 Items. My question is, Is it possible to create Pro-Forma Invoice for just 1 Item AND within 1 Item, Partial Amount. If so, How ?

Hi,
It looks you need to create a routine in tranx VOFM with the logic to select one item and partial value.
Then assign this routine in the billing document copy control - item level.

Great question. The line access fees for the account are a set amount and can not be changed unless you are going from a basic to a smartphone or vice versa. If you are wondering about adding the month to month discount if you are out of contract Ann154 has provided great information on how to access and add the feature.

Capturing a set amount of data point.

I am using LabVIEW v7.5 for a project I am currently working on and am recording signals from 6 physical channels. I have a couple of questions about the write to spreadsheet VI. First, when I write to a spreadsheet, transpose it, then open it in excel or another spreadsheet application, do the columns correspond to the channel that the data came from? Second, I was wondering if there is a way that I can specify the VI to record a set amount of data. Since EXCEL can only plot a maximum of 32,000 data points I would like to sset the VI to only record that many data points so I don't have to manually delete them when I would like to plot them. Lastly, this is something I have been curious about for a while, is there any way that I can append a header to the columns without manually adding it after opening the data in EXCEL. I will appreciate any comments or feedback

You pay for your Cloud membership as long as you want to use the software.
When you stop paying the software stops working. You never own the software. There is no set time when you finally pay it off - because it's a subscription model, not a rent-to-own model.

Photoshop not using set amount of ram. Stuck at 6gb

Hey guys, just recently started having issues with photoshop not getting the set amount of ram that it needs. I have it set to use 24gb of Ram (I have 32gb) Tried a reset, tried resetting back to factory then back, nothing. The odd thing is that if I set it to use only 1 gb of ram, it still idles at 6gb. Any tips on how to approach this would be greatly appreciated as I have projects on the run that require much attention.

Return Set Amount Of Rows

Quick question I hope... How do I request a set amount of terms and have the Oracle Agent stop, once the amount of rows has been reached.
I am not looking for (example):
select * from
(SELECT rownum ROW_NUM, empID, empName FROM employees)
where empName like '%SM%'
AND
ROW_NUM <= 10
This works in most cases, but Oracle is still evaluating all results, and only returning rows where the ROW_NUM meets the criteria. If I have a million rows with matching empName , and only want to return 10 results it still evaluates all million rows. and break the query, this does not work...

Statement 1 is faster - rownum criteria is used along with the last_name
Statement 2 is slower - rownum criteria is used after all the last names are fetched.

Check your prod order in CO03 and see if any costs are posted in the period in which you are settling the prod order
Once into CO03, Click on Menu Goto > Cost > Analysis and Press Ctrl + Shift + F11.. It will ask you to enter the period... Enter the same period in which you are doing the settlement

It sounds like you want to use a default or derived attribute value.
You set these in rules, which are applied via profiles.

Go iCal Preferences/General and click the default alert tick box at the bottom. You can then adjust the amount of minutes before the event for the alarm. NB. ticking the tickbox means you get an alarm for every entry.

Using TIme Capsule. Settings right now of n 2.4 and 5ghz Name st under Wirelss options.
I have no need for the 2.4 side any longer, but do not see the ability for just a setting of N 5Ghz only.

Correct it is not possible.. Apple since introducing the dual band simultaneous model.. has no provision to turn off a wireless band..
You can on older ones set it to G wireless.. just change the mode.. and fix it to the most out of the way channel you can.

JScript to automatcally set Regarding on an appointment, possible?

I have been trying to figure out how to accomplish this:
I would like to on an appointment set the Regarding(regardingobjectid) field with the parent account of the contact (or account) selected to the Required (requiredattendees). The script would run on the OnChange-event of the required field.
I am able to get the fields to polpulate with data that lies inside the current record but cannot quite figure out how to manage to get the data from the related record of the Required-field. Is it possible, surely it has to be?
I have been looking into web pages on REST, I suppose that is the way to go, but as I said, I haven't managed to figure it out quite yet.
Does anyone have links or tips that would help to figure this out?

How do I make a program wait for a set amount of time?

Basically, I want there to be some amount of lag after a repaint, so how do I do that? I want it to wait a fifth of a second, basically. Is there a quick way to do this?
By the way, the program is not running on a timer, so I can't just have the timer stop.
