Set AOI and Binning with Camera Link

Hello together,
I trying to set the AOI and the Binning.
Please see the attached VIs. If I choose Binning 2x or 4x, the following error occured:
Error -1074397150 occurred at IMAQ Snap.vi
Possible reason(s):
NI-IMAQ: A timeout error occurred while waiting for the specified event. If waiting for an image, verify that all video data is acquired within the timeout period. If waiting for a signal, verify that the signal assertion occurs within the timeout period.
Does anybody has a idea, how I can set the AOI and the Binning?

thanks for your answer.
The attribute Binning is in the MAX, because I edited the camera file (*.icd] with the NI Camera File generator (see MAX_Binning.png). If I chosse the correct imagesize (MAX - tab Acquisition Parameters) and set the Binning (MAX - Camera Attributes), it works. I can switch between 0x, 2x, 4x Binning without an error message. But unfortunately I can do it with the LabVIEW VI (see attached VI). I will try to describe the process with the attached LV program:
- run program
- default resolution 6576x4384, 0xBinning: all OK
- set resolution 3288x2192, 2xbinning: all OK
- set resolution 1644x1096, 4xbinning: all OK
- set resolution 3288x2192, 2xbinning: the resolution (1644x1096) remains
or
- set resolution 6576x4384, 0xbinning: the resolution (1644x1096) remains
Why the resolution doesn't go back?
How can I get the frames per second?
" Please run the VI and see if an error occur when you try to set Binning in your camera."
It doesn't appear a error message.
I hope we can find a solution.

Keithley 2000 and 7002 with trigger link

I am writing an application for the 2000 DMM and a 7002 switch system. The instruments are set up with trigger link. What I want to do is simply to load a scan list to the 7002, scan and read back the results from the 2000. I am doing a program like your, but with Keitlehy 2001.
To make the syncronization you wrote just these lines? I am doig this in labview, with the programs found in the drivers given by keithley but is not working properly. When I put the triger link, it scans and show just the first measure.

I want to eliminate or control popup windows that have no relevance and start with "open link in new window" . How do I control or eliminate. It is a nuisance.

When I am searching the web and click on an item, I get a pop up window that contains 6 choices beginning with "open link in new window". Most of the time this a nuisance and I want to get rid of it, but it follows me all over the page and keeps popping up when I click on the same item again. If I don't want to use it, how can I make sure it doesn't reappear?
Also, another question. Firefox keeps asking me to upgrade to Firefox 3.6.19, but when I try, it will download. What gives? I have a Mac Pro with OSX version 10.6.7.

How can I set iPad and iPhone with IOS6 to do not remember wifi and proxy credential

My company want to implement the Password Policy to limit the failure logon count.
Such as Lock users if they try logon with invalid password for 3 times.
The problem occur on iPad and iPhone my iPad using IOS6. and user had change their password.
iPad and iPhone remember the Wifi and proxy credential. and try to connect with the saved credential.
I monitor on my system and found Wifi connection try 2 times with saved credential and prompt for new password
When I enter the corrected new password . So I the proxy server detected the invalid login 3 times or more and lock those account.
So could anyone told me on how to set iPad and iPhone to do not save the user credential... ?

HELP! leopard and imovie with camera.

Ok, my new canon FS100 won't import movies into imovie08, even though the apple page says it should work.
I have posted here cos under imovie not getting much help and i have established its not an imovie problem.
basically, the camera loads up the thumbnails, i choose the clip to import and then i get an error message.
i then went down to the apple store and put the camera on a machine with the same leopard version as mine and same imovie08 version and it imported no problem.
i came back deleted off imovie08, reinstalled and updated it, tried again with no luck.
so its leopard thats causing the problem and not imovie. without wanting to do a archive and install, i was hoping someone here might have a suggestion i could try or if they have had a similar problem with another hard drive or SD camcorder.

Did you trash the receipts before re-installing? If not then you didn't actually re-install.
They are in HD/Library/Receipts and you remove any pkg file there with iMovie in the name and then trash the app and re-install.

Problem with camera link in IMOVIE

'camera' does not recognize anything other than the embedded computer camera. How do I get it to recognize the tape drive sony camcorder that is hooked up via a Pinnacle Systems link (audio & video pins to USB)?

I'm pretty sure iMovie won't capture realtime video over USB. It will only work with Firewire. USB only works with flash and hard drive based camcorders.
You'll need another program to capture the video. QuickTime Pro may be able to do it. I just ran a test with my USB webcam and QuickTime Pro can record from it. You can upgrade your Quicktime software to Pro by buying a license key from the online Apple Store.
There may be some free software that can capture from it. I'm not aware of any but you can search versiontracker.com to find what's available if no one else offers up any suggestions.

Express and eMac with D-Link USB Adapter

I went down to my local Apple Centre to get an Airport Card for my eMac (700mhz). He said they didn't have any but recommended I buy a D-Link USB Adapter (802.11g/2.4ghz wireless) to connect to the Internet via Airport Express. But I can't get the Mac to recognise it - when I use the Airport Assistant it says I have to connect via Ethernet as there is no Airport card Installed. Any ideas where I can find a step-by-step installation guide? Or any help here would be great!

Unfortunately the drivers required for these USB wireless adapters frequently don't work well with Mac OS X. Many people never get them to work properly. Some people find the magical combination and get them to work.
The best solution is the correct AirPort card.
The next best solution is an Ethernet wireless adapter. These require no drivers and therefore work with any Ethernet device. Examples of Ethernet wireless adapters are the Linksys WET11, Linksys WET54G, and the Buffalo Technology WLI-TX4-G54HP bridge.

I am trying to set up and sync with icloud but it says my email has not been verified. How do i do this? When i click the email verification nothing comes to my email allowing me to verify.

You might try contacting iTunes store support. Even though this is an ID that you want to use for iCloud, it's still an Apple ID. iTuens store support deals with Apple ID issues all the time and they may be able to help you. Just explain that you are trying to verify your primary email address for your Apple ID but are not receiving the verification email from Apple, despite multiple attempts to resend it. You can reach them here: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.
You might also check with your email provider to be sure they aren't blocking email from [email protected] as spam at their end.

Cfimage and crop with direct links

I need some advice..
I want to have users reference images from my site but only certain sections (IE: http://somedomain.com/getimg.cfm?ID=123&section=1). Below is the code I have but it only outputs a variable like coldfusion.image.Image@174e3a9 rather than the actual image. I understand cfimage has a writeToBrowser action but that outputs html source which wont allow my users to have a direct link.

You can also prevent direct links (although not fool-proof) by checking the HTTP_REFERER at http server level, using mod_write or isapi_rewrite (or similar). You can easily find examples for this by searching the internet.
About cfcontent then... the correct usage would be <cfcontent variable="#myImage#" type="image/jpeg"> , but since cfcontent does not support a ColdFusion image object, but rather variables or binary objects read by cffile, save the cropped image to a disk with the cfimage tag, then read it using cffile.
Better yet, if you are using ColdFusion 9, use the ram://-drive instead of physical disk for less I/O load.

Set fill and stroke with events?

I have a SWF with Shapes created with AS. When an event
fires, I want to change the fill and stroke of the Shape.
I know how to do the event, but what's the syntax to modify
the fill and stroke?
For reference, in my Class's creator function I have:

So what I would want to do here is change the lineStyle to

What I wound up doing, which works but seems wonky, is to

There is a difference between how PE8 handles the panel and bin with Windows 7 and Vista.

In Vista, the panel bin closes wehen unchecked in the Wndows menu. The same procedure in Windows 7 collapses the panel. Or am I wrong?

Help render the raw files edited with camera raw how?

i have a problem
i use bridge cs5 (updated) to browse my raw files
often i open my raw files with camera raw inside bridge cs5 and make some corrections like exposure , saturation , contrast and so on
but after bridge doesn't re-render the files
i mean the thumbs ,previews , the slideshow still are in default setting
when i click and open with camera raw inside bridge or with photoshop cs5 ,the raw files look with corretions
but again bridge show me not with the corrections
i run under w7 32bit
what could be the problem?

If you are using HQ On Demand you will get fast thumbnails, but there will be a delay in generating the preview as Bridge builds it.
The Always HQ takes more space, but faster as the data is already in cache.

Circular and oval cropping at set size and resolution?

I know how to use the M tool to create circles and ovals and i know you can set that to certain dimensions, but that doesn't do everything I need.
How do you crop circles and ovals out of a photo, at a set size (for example, a 1 inch circle ) at a set resolution for printing? What I need to do is crop circular and oval images out of a photo, say at 250 dpi, then paste them onto a blank white page for printing.
So if I've got let's say a photo that's 14x10 inches at 300dpi, I want to be able to go in, crop out an oval or circle, with as much or as little of the photo that I can or want to, setting that automatically to a certain dimension and dpi, then paste it into a blank white page I've already created at that same d
When finished I'd have maybe 20 or 30 images on a page that I can flatten all the layers and print.
I can't find a way to set size and resolution with anything other than the regular square crop tool.

You can make an action and use it as one step automation to achieve that on an initial selection.
Step by step instructions:
With the Elliptical Marquee Tool, make the desired selection on a image.
Open the Actions panel (Window > Actions (Alt+F9), from its menu at the top right or corresponding buttons at the bottom, choose New Action, and in the dialog that appears press the Record button.
From the Image menu, choose Crop.
From the Selection menu, choose Inverse (Ctrl+Shift+I)
Press the d key on your keyboard to reset the foreground/background color swatches.
Press Ctrl + Delete keys on your keyboard to fill with white.
From the Image menu, choose Image Size (Ctrl+Alt+I), make sure the Resample Image is checked, and in the Document Size section enter the desired dimensions and resolution and press OK.
In the Actions Panel press the Stop Recording button.
Now you can copy or drag the image to another image.
For the next image make the oval selection, go to the Actions panel, select the actions you created above, and press the play button. You can also create a keyboard shortcut in the action's property accessible by double clicking the action.
The creation of this action assumes that in the final image you will be composing oval images on white background without overlapping their rectangular bounding boxes. If you plan to overlap them then the action must be modified to make the image a transparent layer and delete outside the oval instead of filling with white.
