Set cursor in a specific view of transaction MM01/MM02

Hi,
We have to check a condition in the user-exit EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001, for transaction MM01/MM02, and if the condition fails the client wants to set the cursor in a specific field from a specific view. Is it possible? I tried to use the sentence SET CURSOR referenced to a remote program but it doesn't work.
Does anybody knows how to solve this problem?

EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001
Where Is the Customer Exit - EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 called?
The customer exit is in function module MATERIAL_UPDATE_ALL. The
function module checks the data for errors (logical relationships,
foreign keys, fixed domain values, and so on) when the material master
is updated.
Use
o New fields
You can make checks possible for new fields of your own. These
checks must be identical to the checks that you carry out for your
new fields in online maintenance.
o Existing fields
For existing fields, you can extend and intensify the checks.
You can also change data for descriptions and general material data
(MARA). For example, the descriptions can be generated from attributes
of the material.
Limitations
You cannot bypass existing checks.
Interface to Application
The respective data of the current logical transaction is contained in
the structures, for example, in structure WMARA for MARA. Nonrelevant
structures are transferred with their initial values.
General material data that can be changed (CMARA) has the structure
MARU. This MARA view contains fewer internal fields than MARA itself. If
WMARA is filled, CMARA is also filled when accessed.
The customer exit contains the exception APPLICATION_ERROR for your
self-defined error situations.
Using the language element MESSAGE .. RAISING APPLICATION_ERROR, you can
terminate the current (logical) transaction and display your message in
the log.
Also, I guess, have you put some code in the Includes available with the EXITS and then activated the Project in CMOD.

I do not exactly understand what you mean, but what i already did:
- I checked that the fields are from the same type.
- KUNNR is initialized! I already had a look to the debugger, that's why i'm posting this in this forum.
any more comments on this ?
maybe i have to change anything in the z-transaction. Btw, this is what the parameter looks like in the transaction:

How to trigger IDoc CLFMAS after saving in transaction MM01 OR MM02

HI,
whenevr a characterististic for a material is created or changed in transaction MM01/MM02 , idoc clfmas should be triggerred with the characteristic values.
whenevr we save in transaction mm02, a user exit EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 will be called from where v need to trigger the idocs.
Can anybody suggest me how do i trigger the idoc from the user exit

Transaction cmod - set cursor...

In include ZXPADU02:
I try to set cursor on field P0442-REGNO (infotype - 0442)
but it's not work.
The field appear on screen 2100 while first load screen 2000. how can i set cursor on field P0442-REGNO in include ZXPADU02.

Have you tried this -
Set the cursor on screen field ( cleck F1 on the field and see technical attribute of it , here u'll get screen field ) not on the database table-field .

How to add a specific view to a folder in Finder?

Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if there is a possibillity to add a specific view to a specific folder in Finder.
I know this sounds abstract, let me explain:
In OS 10.5 there are now 4 views for the Finder:
- Icons
- List
- Columns
- Cover Flow
Usually I prefer icons, but for my movies and pictures folders I prefer Cover Flow.
It would be handy to preset Cover Flow as view for the movies and pictures folders while other folders remain unaffected and still view as icons, instead of constantly having to change the view.
Is there any way to accomplish what I am trying to do?

What you want to do is possible.
Open your folder (the one you want to "customize"), then choose View>Show View Options. At the top, you will see a check-box labeled "Always open in xxx view," "xxx' being whatever view is currently set for the open window. Change the view on the window, using the icon in the Toolbar, to set your desired view, then enable the checkbox in the View Options. Close the View Options, then close the window.
Initially, changing the view on this one window will change your view globally. Not a problem; just change the global setting back to your desired view when you open the next Finder window.

My main question is: Can new PWA views be created whereby a filter for that view can be set, and associate to the view by default? (Project Server 2013 ONLINE)? and can I have a filter set to filter on person logged on to...
In previous versions of Project Server, when CREATING a PWA view, we were able to apply/ define a filter for that view. Does not seem like it is the case in Project Server 2013 Online. And if I remember, we could also use the URL Guid_view_id.
Please confirm; and / or tell me how-to.
What I was hoping to do is the following... Given that our standard that we have adopted for reporting time is 'My Timesheets' (fyi, Single Mode Entry=ON), we have some resources who have others who do it on their behalf via 'My Tasks' (ie., accomplished
by using the 'Assignment Owner' field, accordingly). Therefore, when entering time on someone else's behalf within 'My Tasks', we like to present the user that is logged in only the tasks that they are are assigned to update on others' behlaf.
I know that there is another more elegant approach to doing this which may be to use the Delegation feature. But since we are trying to stick to Sharepoint Security mode for now, this is not an option for the time being.
Any help appreciated would be greatly appreciated.

1- You still can define in Project Online a filter in the view settings, it is located just above the category setting. Here is a screenshot of the summary project center view:
2- The view GUID is not anymore in the URL, since the URL triggers an action only on the webpart and not on the whole page. I agree this is annoying since it was great to send a URL with a specific view.
3- Concerning the access to my timesheet versus my task, I'm not sure to get a full understanding but on a general way, it is much more easy to deal with those situation using categories which you cannot do with the SP permission mode.

Set the input cursor i.e. "set cursor" in ABAP

In ABAP Dynpro, I have the possibility to set the cursor to a specified input field using the "set cursor" command.
In ABAP Web Dynpro it seems that I always have to place the cursor first using the mouse. Is there an equivalent to "set cursor" in ABAP Web Dynpro?

you can use the following method REQUEST_FOCUS_ON_VIEW_ELEM of IF_WD_VIEW.

Transaction Processor Error in View Pending Transactions

Dear All,
I am getting the Error: "Transaction Processor Error" in View Pending Transactions.
How can I identify due to what reason, this error had occured
because of this I am not able to close the inventory period for these transaction months..
and also I am having the following Error msg for another item in view Pending Transactions..,
How can I clear this ..?

Hi,
This is not really and error. Oracle processes transaction in a batch. If one record will fail because of some error, other records/transaction in the batch fails with this error. For this error you really need to get the ERROR_EXPLANATION to find out the exact message as to why it is possibly failing. These can usually have their three flags reset and re-submitted as this error is usually attached to those records in a group where one of the records has been erred with one of the more severe errors.
I believe you can resubmit the transactions which are failed with the below script
Update mtl_material_transactions_temp
set      process_flag = ‘Y’,
     lock_flag = 'N',
     transaction_mode = 3,
error_code = NULL
Where organization_id = &org_id

Cursor in a specific text box

Hi,
I would like to know how to automatically set the cursor in a specific textbox (in the front panel) when my window is loaded.
I tried with the keybinding control (home for example) so if I type home key it goes there but I want this cursor in this specific textbox without typing anything.

Use the KeyFocus property for the control. Right-click on the control, select Create->Property Node->Key Focus. Change it to write and wire a "True" Boolean constant. Do this at the start of the program.

SET CURSOR in USER-EXIT

Hi Experts,
I have a function module, user-exit that does a checking on a parameter for a standard transaction. I've been able to do the checking however after displaying the error message the parameter was grayed-out/disabled.
How can I enabled it after displaying the error message so that the user could enter a value in the parameter and correct the error. Can I use the SET CURSOR here?

mostly u might have used E001(error) message...instead use I(information message) and put a stop so that field doesnot gray out and stays till user enters correct value.

How to use SET CURSOR in REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY

I have added new fields in Standard VL10C ALV report , I have added one editable field in this standard ALV output.
I want to set the cursor by default on the editable column on the specific row depending on some condition also if possible
i want to highlight only that particular row.

You can see the list of events supported by reusable alv with function REUSE_ALV_EVENTS_GET
when I run this function in se37 I see the some events maybe helpful for your question
PF_STATUS_SET : this has to be called from PBO of your screen, so you can try to use SET CURSOR
command to put cursor on the selected field
BEFORE_LINE_OUTPUT : It's called before the output of every single line so you should use command
"FORMAT COLOR COL_POSITIVE INTENSIFIED ON. "for highlighting the line
AFTER_LINE_OUTPUT : than u can use "FORMAT COLOR COL_POSITIVE INTENSIFIED OFF." command

OVD best practices for app-specific views?

I have a requirement to create app-specific views of joined (OID+AD) ldap directory data. It occurs to me that logically I could take 2 approaches to this as laid out below as option1 & 2. Although I'm not sure how to actually create option 2. I've listed the adapters i'd construct, the adapter type, and name/purpose of each. The end product of each option is 2 join adapters that present different app-specific views derived from the same source ldap data. Each join adapter would be consumed by different apps and present different subsets and transformations of that directory data.
OPTION1:
1 ldap oid1
2 ldap ad1
3 ldap oid2
4 ldap ad2
5 join oid1+ad1 (for app1)
6 join oid2+ad2 (for app2)
OPTION2:
1 ldap oid1
2 ldap ad1
3 ? oid2 (a transformed subtree derived from oid1)
4 ? ad2 (a transformed subtree derived from ad1)
5 ? oid3 (a transformed subtree derived from oid1)
6 ? ad3 (a transformed subtree derived from ad1)
7 join oid2+ad2 (for app1)
8 join oid3+ad3 (for app2)
With option 1, i would create create 2 OID and 2 AD adapters; repeating the connectivity configuration for each; and each adapter once deployed is going to establish its own pool of ldap connections to the source ldap servers. this is a little clunky as you scale it beyond the initial two app-specific views, and leaves me a little concerned about how well this model scales considering each ldap adapter is going to setup its own pool of connections. i.e. with 5 app-specific view to construct, i'd have 5 OID and 5 AD pools... seems to somewhat defeat the whole point of pooling.
Option 2 is predicated on the idea of creating 1 single ldap adapter in ovd for oid and another single one for ad; then create secondary adapters which pull and transform data from those two primary source adapters. No matter how many secondary OID & AD adapters I create, only the two primary adapters actually have pooled connections to OID and AD. The advantage here clearly is in how we manage and limit how many pools we are setting up. But I'm not sure what kind of adapter to use for oid2/3 and ad2/3. I looked at using a join adapter, configured not to actually join anything, but rather just pull from a single primary adapter, but I couldn't see any way to change the subtree being pulled from the primary adapter. The alternative might be to create ldap adapters that connect to oid1 and ad1... a loopback approach... but this gets us into pools on top of pools. Again, a little clunky.
Any thoughts or recommendations with regard to best practices here?

Cross-Component navigation - Calling the specific view

Hello Experts,
I need your help.
I have a COMP2 with more than 10 views in it. While navigating from COMP1 to COMP2, I want to call a specific view of COMP2 based on some condition. When I checked in debugging, the COMP2/MainWindow is showing only one view which was set as default.
Can someone help me with this?

I already have this solution in my mind. But, was thinking how to call to the specific view while navigating itself using inbound plugs of the views. But, the problem is it was not showing all the views except the default one.
Anyhow, I don't have much time for this. Will wait if someone comes up with any other solution.
I will go ahead with your solution as putting conditions is better than creating many windows...
