Set PF-STATUS and use SY-UCOMM in an Exit FM

Hi,
I am working on an Exit function, and I am trying to read the screen status and then the user's actions, so that I could code for the SY-UCOMM. For some reason, my program is not working. Is it possible to add the PF-STATUS and SY-UCOMM to the Exit function to process the user's actions? Please advise.

Hi Ravikumar,
I was able to use the parameters in the Exit provided in the Exit FM to process the necessary data. I have other requirements where I would have to code in the Exit FM to detect the user's actions and process them within the Exit to manipulate the tables. I added some code specified in the previous post, but it doesn't seem to get the OK_CODE; therefore, no processing of the data was happening when I tested by clicking on the yellow arrow to exit. I am able to determine the OK_CODE though.
Would you have any sample code suggestions when using the Exit for SET PF-STATUS and SY-UCOMM?

You may need to update iTunes to iTunes 11 but you can do that running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I would recommend running iTunes 11 anyway. It is a bit different in the user interface, but it works the same that it did in 10.6.3.
You can transfer iWorks files back and forth without iCloud but you will need to use file sharing with iTunes. However, you will have to purchase the iPad versions of those apps becuse the Mac versions will not work on the iPad if you were thinking about using the Mac apps.

Set PF Status and At-Line Selection & At User-Command

I've used set PF status, at user command and at-line selection in my program. initially when i click on the material number it was not drilling further that is it was not taking to secondary list. i commented the PF status and tried. then it was working fine. Later, after checking on couple of doc i added F.code PICK in my PF status and uncommented the set-PF status in my program it was working fine. Now my question is why this kind of behaviour. When i uncomment the PF status and run the program without the f.code PICK in my PF status(se41) it was not working but after inlcuding the F.code in my PF it is working. Any good explanation?

hi,
generally fuction code is useful for the system to find on which button or in which area the user has clicked in. based on the function code the system executes the satatements that are in user command. in your case i think u didnt gave any functionality in user-command. when at-user command is a event in interactive reporting which is triggered based on the button u had clicked.
at line-selection event uses two system variables
   1. sy-lsind [ current list index number ]
   2. sy-lisel [ contains the current area in which user ckicked ].
   3. sy-ucomm [ function code of clicked button ].
using these 3 vars we can drill down to 21 lists [ including 1st list ]

How to get the set pf-status and call Transaction work together in SA

hi,
I am using Set pf-status to display the details screen and the same time using call transaction va03 leave screen 0 to display the corresponing sales order.
The issue is both of them are not workin together properly.
it could be helpfull if you give some code which deals the issue in detail...
can you please give details how to get the previous screen once the new screen is obtained thru set pf-status

Best setting for render and use in pc

hi dear friends
i have final studio,i dont know why but compressor(software) is not working, i shoot by sony EX-1(xd,tapeless) and edit in fCP. i tested some setting in output to render my sequence and use it in pc. i check avi_dv. dv stream, but i dont like quality in rendered file. uncompress file is ok but as you know size is problem and other software need render or preview to play it back. im looking for a great output setting to render a file and use it in pc or retouch it in premier.

Setting camera target and using the pan tool moves everything except target

I have a JavaScript which sets the camera target using the code below.

This works great for the rotate and spin tool. But hen I use the pan tool, everything moves except the node that was set as target.
Why is this happening and how can I prevent this?

James, thank you very much for the VI, now i understand what you meant by initialising the shift registers. You're right about my text-based programming background, and seeing how you've implemented the case selection really helped. The removal of the mathscript modules does reduce lag quite a lot, too, and now everytihng works exactly as it should. I set the initial servo positions and rawx/rawy values, extended the error line the way you suggested, and added a division by two after the array summation, in order to get an average, rather than a near-double result.
I agree with you and 22v10 that slicing the image up into quadrants might have been a better idea to begin with. The 'center band' that is set in the current vi works quite well and i'll stick with it for now, since i won't have much more time to work on this project.
I avoided adding tilt for now because i thought it would only complicate things. Now that panning works, i've duplicated the method and adjusted it for tilt.
I'm also considering removing the Vision Assistant nodes, since for calibration purposes i need to go into it and create new templates from scratch every time, and this will only get more tedious as i start experimenting with more complex 'targets'. A more viable solution is presented here, where everything is set once the application is launched.
Please find attached an updated copy of the VI. It's a bit laggy, i'll continue working on it and updating.

High Contrast themes on Windows 7&8 overwrites css styles on webpage, how do keep the High Contrast themes setting on window and use the stock CCS?

This was not a problem for me until Windows 8 now makes it so you HAVE to use high contrast theme to be able to change the background on windows explorer. Otherwise you have to accept it always being white. If there is a windows program that allowed me to change the windows colors like you used to be able to then I would not need to use the high contrast.

Note I have click on the Firefox button (Tools menu) and then click Options
Select the Content panel then Click the Colors... button.
I do have checkbox beside "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above" checked.

Connect your iPod to your computer. There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

It is important not to allow your iPod to sync with an empty library. If it is set to synchronise automatically you will get a message saying your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to sync – it is important to press cancel as syncing with an empty library erases all music from your iPod.
You can also prevent auto sync by holding down shift & ctrl as you plug in your iPod and keeping the keys held down until the iPod appears in iTunes.
Once you are connected, you need to set your iPod to manage music manually.

I need some advice in setting header status in table VBUK field UVALL in user exit MV45AFZZ - USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE. I am unable to set this field in this userexit.
I create an enhancement implementation in user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in MV45AFZZ. In my enhancement code, I have a perform statement which is in a Z include program. In my perform statement, I check a condition, if the line item text is not populated, then I would like to set XVBUK-UVALS to B. In the code, I set the fields as follow :
XVBUK-UVALS = 'B'
XVBUK-UPDKZ = 'U'.
After the sales order is saved, when I checked in table VBUK-UVALS, the field is not updated.
Could anyone please provide me with some advice on how I could set the status in VBUK-UVALS in the user exit ? Should I be using another user exit ?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

* if we have set both capture and use parameter true. Oracle will automatically capture Plans, but will it automatically evolve new plans to accepted or it will wait for evolve it manually before using new plan.
* If it Automatically evolve, when and how will it?
* If it Automatically, will change old plan's flag accepted to No? or add one more accepted plan

If a plan is loaded automatically and no plan already exists, then the first plan will be created as ACCEPTED=YES.
Otherwise, if the plans are loaded automatically, then they will not be accepted until performance has been verified by the evolution process.
If it Automatically evolve, when and how will it?If the task is enabled, the SQL Tuning Advisor auto task will deal with the automatic evolution.
If it Automatically, will change old plan's flag accepted to No? or add one more accepted planThe accepted flag of the previous plan should not be set to NO, there should be multiple accepted plans.
It might be worth taking a step back and looking at the big picture with automatic baseline capture on.
- If you have a SQL statement for which there is not an accepted baseline, on parse the optimizer does its usual optimizer business and the generated plan is stored in a baseline as ACCEPTED=YES.
- If you have a SQL statement for which there is already an accepted baseline, on parse the optimizer does its usual optimizer business.
- If the plan it comes up with by default matches one of the baselines, great.
- If the plan doesn't match one of the baselines then it will store the generated plan in the baseline to wait for evolution.
- The optimizer will then use the outline hints in the baseline to generate the particular plan - to do this it has to match the plan_hash_2 value to the underlying plan id in sys.sqlobj$/sqlobj$data/sqlobj$auxdata.
- If the optimizer can generate the plan, great.
- If the optimizer cannot generate the baselined plan, then it will revert to the generated plan and mark the relevant plan as reproduced=NO.
- What if there are multiple accepted plans? It will attempt to reproduce the plans in order of lowest cost baselined plans first.
