I used till now the jdbc:oracle:thin driver.
I replaced the driver to the OCI driver because I needed to support Russian language.
Now the date is retrieved differently from the table.
the sql sentence is : Select LOGICAL_DATE From LOGICAL_DATE Where LOGICAL_DATE_TYPE ='O' AND EXPIRATION_DATE IS NULL;
The results of the two runs are:
With thin driver: 2001-06-10 00:00:00.0
With OCI driver: Sun Jun 10 00:00:00 GMT 03:00 2001
How can I cause the OCI driver to return the date as it was with the thin client without changing the code?

Thanks For the help.Hi. You can't. You are probably calling getString() for the date value, and that depends on what the
driver creates or has by default for the underlying datum. For the thin driver, it must directly
create a java.sql.Timestamp object, from which it will just sent you the toString() output. The
OCI-based driver can/will use OCI calls to get the datum as requested, and OCI will format date
objects as you see.
If you want to normalize your code to get the same for all drivers, you should do a
getTimestamp(),
and then to a toString() on that object.

Hello!
I have a report where one of its parameters refers to a list of values (LOVs). This list of values is an SQL Query type. When the data source used in the report is defined in the BI Publisher server, I'm able to get the report parameters using the getReportParameters() function in my application. However, if the data source is not defined the function throws an exception, which is understandable.
I decided to dynamically set the data source so that even if the data source used by the report is not defined in the BI Publisher server, it still will be able to get the LOVs for the parameter. I tried setting the JDBCDataSource of the dynamicDataSource for the ReportRequest object that I passed to the getReportParameters() function. Please see the sample code below:

reportRequest.dynamicDataSource.JDBCDataSource = new BIP10.JDBCDataSource();

I was expecting this to work as this is what I did to dynamically set the data source before calling the runReport function. So, my question is -- can we set the dynamic data source when using getReportParameters() ? I tried this both in versions 10g and 11g. It does not seem to work on both versions.

report_id column of apex_application_page_ir_rpt can help us uniquely identify each saved report.
We can assign this report_id value to a page item and this page item can be put in the Report ID Item text box of the Advanced section of the Report Attributes page of the IR.
This should load the saved report identified by report_id and you can get rid of javascript

I am having problems setting the gain programatically from Labview 6, using the Hardware Config vi, for a PCI6110E DAQ board.

NB: This has also been posted to High Speed Digitizers forum.
Changing the "gain" (part of the "alternate input limits" cluster) appears to affect the group settings, but when I pass a signal outside the supposed new voltage range, the signal doesn't clip as I would expect. This doesn't happen when I use MAX (where clipping is clearly visible), but unfortunately that is not an acceptable long-term solution. Any thoughts? I am only using allowable gain settings for the 6110E.
Additionally, I am saving my data in hsdl format, and to get the actual true voltage from the binary numbers (after uncompressing and converting back to standard binar
y format) I need to multiply the final number by the gain. Should this be correct? I thought the "scale multiplier" (part of "group settings cluster") compensated for "gain", but it doesn't seem to do so. Is this part of the same problem?

Thanks Spencer. I do call Hardware Config.vi in several different places, so maybe its the multiple calls that is stuffing things up. I will investigate further.
As for the multiplier, which bit sounds correct? The fact that I have to multiply by the gain, or that it should take this into account automatically and therefore not have to muliply by the gain (which is what the default hsdl code does). What do you do to convert from binary to real?

I am afraid there ain't any direct method to extract XML field from a data base.
Indirect way could be converting the whole table (instead of one field) into XML format and then extract one field from it!!

You transfer data with wires.
Frankly, I'm a little confused by your question. I can't think of any reason why you would want to pass serial parameters (i.e. baud rate, parity) to a GPIB instrument. Please explain with further detail and attach the code.

How to get the complete data from Webdynpro using a RFC

A form is created in the webdynpro, when that pdf form is called the user have to provide the key field ie the employee number in the form and then when he press the 'go' button a rfc is called and it gives all the details of the employee in the form. Then the user have to input some fields in the form and he have press the submit button. My problem is here, when the user is going to press the submit button that form will be converted to a stream (binary) of data and it is sent to one of the import parameter used in the RFC.
I have created a RFC and created a import parameter of data type XSTRING, since i want to see what exactly R3 is receiving from web dynpro i am writing this contant in the sever as a text file. When i saw that text file i cant see the complete data.
And when i searched in R3 the capacity of xstring is 1024 CHAR, so i dont know how to capture the entire data from webdynpro into my R3.
I give the code what i worte please tell me am i missing anything in my code, or is there any data type which can hold more than 500kb of data which is coming from webdynpro.

You have to convert your long string to a table of shorter strings.
There may be other ways, but one possibility is to use a loop to process you string.
while (there is something left)
   put the next e.g. 1024 characters in a new row of your table
endwhile
If you need to reconstruct your string from the table, don't use simple concatenation since it will remove blanks at the end of lines. Believe me (from experience) sooner or later this will happen.
Instead you need to either set the subsections of your long string, or insert from the end of your table and keep shifting the contents (probably less efficient) right

Is there any way we can get them back. I already have the program Asoftech - but it doesnt seem to register the iphone only C and D drive. Please help!

It restored the backup that was made on your computer 6 months ago, which did not contain those photos. You're wasting your time trying to find them on the phone. They don't exist.
Hopefully, your friend syncs her phone to her own computer on a regular basis. She needs to plug her phone into her computer and restore it from her last backup. That will restore it to the state it was in when the backup was made.
She also needs to get in the habit of extracting the photos on a regular basis, like she would from any other digital camera.

The template is a document in itself, it is not applied to an existing document whether it is a Pages document or a Word document converted to a Pages document.
You would need to either copy and paste content, using existing styles, or apply the styles to the converted Word document.
You can Import the Styles from an existing document and those imported Styles can be used to override the current document's styles:
Menu > Format > Import Styles
The process is simplified if the styles use the same names, otherwise you will need to delete the style you don't want and replace it with the one that you do want when asked, then the substitution is pretty straightforward.

The subscription will renew automatically (unless you have disabled that) and you will get an email approximately one month before renewal.

Specify the date format as YYYYMMDD in where condition.
Dates are internally stored in SAP as YYYYMMDD only.
Change your date format in WHERE condition as follows.
data itab like equk occurs 0 with header line.

I doubt check your data base table EQUK on this date for the existince of data.
Otherwise, just change the conidition on BDATU like below to see all entries prior to this date.

You could also try asking in the forum applicable to your operating system - Lion, Mavericks or whatever - on the reasonably chance of finding someone familiar with Word.

Hi Warren,
Assuming the dirty data is easily identifiable, all you need to do is use the staging process with import type of 5 (de-activate - i.e., soft delete) or import type of 6 (hard delete).
Could give more details if I knew the version of MDS you are running (SQL 2008R2 or SQL 2012).
