Setting Property at design time and run time differ outputs
On AI OCX Object I have set property in BUFFER>>Number of Scan to acquire = 600, Allocation Mode = Host Memory, Return data type = scaled data only And in Clock >> Clock=Scan, Clock Sourec Type = Internal,Scan/Second = 600 And in CONDITIONS>> Condition=Stop and Continuous..
But when I want to set them at runtime I am not getting proper output
I have defined at runtime...
CWAI1.NScans = 600
CWAI1.ScanClock.Frequency = 600
CWAI1.AllocationMode = cwaiHostMemory
CWAI1.ScanClock.InternalClockMode = cwaiFrequency
CWAI1.ScanClock.ClockSourceType = cwaiInternalCS
CWAI1.UseDefaultBufferSize = True
CWAI1.Configure CWAI1.start

Hmmm, it looks like everything you have is correct. Except that it appears you haven't specified the channels you want to acquire from. I would expect to see something like this:
CWAI1.Channels.RemoveAll
CWAI1.Channels.Add "1,2,3"
I have attached one of the shipping examples that also programatically specifies the properties. You might use it as a comparison to your code. I hope this helps.

How to add values dynamically for custom property during design time?
I am trying to create a user control with custom properties. I have a property named Server.
And Values for this property is system dependent. I have the code that can generate the values and is working fine.
During the design time, when I include this control in my application, and type the property name, I want Visual Studio to prompt for the values. Like it
does for Alignment property for some controls shows Left, Right, Center.. during design time.
If the Values are static, I can use an enum and it works fine. I need help with dynamic values.You can't, afaik.
It's either an enum or you don't get that functionality of values.
There is no right left centre, "Towards the top right but just off centre" - which I just thought of... option for example.

Set env using a script and run the command (dependency on the env)
I need to set the env varaible by running a shell script with arguments as 'ksh setEnviron r6.1' and then run the command in the
same process. the command has dependency on the previous script which sets the env variables.
With Runtime.getRuntime().exec( cmd1); ,Runtime.getRuntime().exec( cmd2); I am not able to execute the Cmd2 as it is running in different process.
How do solve this issue.
Is there any other method to run the command to set env variables and run the second command.(dependent on the env) to get the output.

Do you think I used the '-i' argument just for fun? Did you do a 'man sh' and 'man bash' to see what the arguments do? If not then do it now.
Do you think I used Theads to process stderr and stdout just for fun? I've shown you the basic approach. I have shown you how you need to create Threads to process stdout and stderr. Subform Set visible in Design View and not PDF preview
I have created a form and used several subform sets, all of the sets and subforms within it are set to visible, but when I look at the PDF preview and when I upload the form into my internal system some of the sections are missing. I am not sure what is wrong, can someone please help!?
A subformset is used when you have numerous different subforms that can be laid down but the imbound data stream will determine which subform to lay down. For exmple if you have a form that has a a different verbiage based on state then you can have all of the subforms defined that could possibly go there then when the data is merged the state is derived and only the one for that state is used.

You can submit any number of RSS feeds with your current account - there is no limit.

ActiveX, WingMan Joystick, Immersion TouchSense: can't set "design time" property
I am trying to control a Logitech WingMAN force feedback joystick from
LabVIEW, via the ActiveX control provided by Immersion Corporation
(ImmWeb.ocx).
I know I have basically got the ActiveX right, because I can control
other
Immersion-enabled devices (Logitech iFeel mouse) fine.
However, I can't get the WingMAN to work: the ActiveX control has a
dtDirectXForbidDevice property, which I need to change to
dtDirectXRequireDevice. Immersion have told me that this property is
set
at design time, and is read only at run-time. Trying to set it at
run-time
returns an error. How should I set this property, ideally within
LabVIEW, but alternatively by some other means?

Having very difficult time setting up and running time capsule and airport
I am having a very difficult time setting up and running airport express and time capsule. My time machine is not being recognized by my mac. The amber light keeps blinking. I'm ready to stsrt over.
#3 for itunes streaming. I reset the base station and eventually was able to get the backup working and now my green light is on. Next I'd like to be able to play itunes using Airport Express and have connected to my stereo receiver in another room.
AirPort Express Base Station (AX) - iTunes Setup
Either connect to the AX's wireless network or connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then using the AirPort Utility in "Manual Setup" mode, make the following changes:
AirPort Utility > Select the AX > Manual Setup > AirPort > Wireless
Wireless Mode: Join a wireless network
Network Name: <existing TC's wireless network>
Wireless Security: <select the encryption type of the existing wireless network>
Wireless Password: <enter the existing wireless network password>
Verify Password: <re-enter the existing wireless network password>
AirPort Utility > Select the AX > Manual Setup >Music
Enable AirTunes (checked)
iTunes Speaker Name: <enter desired speaker name>
iTunes Speaker Password: (optional)
Verify Password: (optional)
Click Update to write the new settings to the AX -

ast computer i was able to make 3 profiles and run 3 windows. each time it asked for the profile when i wanted to start each window. how can i set that up again
last time some1 set it up for me. i would only have 1 shortcut on my desktop. everytime i clicked on it, it would ask me which profile i wanted. even if i had 1 or 2 of the others open it would still ask me which profile i wanted to open. i want to be able to do it that way again.
yes i already set up the 3 profiles. but once i open up the one profile, and click on the short cut to open another, it just opens a brwser window with the profile in use. so i could open 10 windows, its only 1 profile, the first profile i used.
and yes i have the box not checked -

If you follow the steps very carefully and do as each says, this will solve your problem.. Now i am very happy i can actually install iTunes and use it for my iPod.
Remember to be carefully with the steps as the things you will be deleting are very important to your comp.

However, it is possible to modify the contents of context as well as to alter its structure at runtime too. To help understand it better, see these 2 online presentations.

Syncing design time and run time view in WPC
Hi,
We use WPC to develop web content. Especially when we use the table control provided in the Htmleditadvanced(advanced paragraph) component for creating web content the size of the font that is displayed in design time is very big. We do control the font size at run time by altering the font style available in the /etc/wpceditor/runtime/styles folder. But a the same time we are unable to alter the font style at designtime so that we can have the design time in sync with run time when the page is previewed. We did try exploring the css files available in /etc/wpceditor/designtime/styles folder, but was not of any use.

Win 7 set up and running OK,but after go back from OSX the wireless net work stuck at identification cause the window working without Internet.Can we fix it or I must use Windows off line all the time?

post...I notice it does it on start up as well.....think something is trying to install but not sure. Need to figure out where the appdata or start up folder and see whats in there....maybe it's in there.......so I might wait to see how it acts in the next
