You may look at the OSS note 186603. It seems you have to create an entry in the table TSPOPTIONS as mentioned in the note.

How do I set column width for a table?

I want to set the same width for all the columns in a particular table. Is there anyway of doing this without having to actually manually adjust each individual column?

Select the column headers and drag across (A,B,C for example) then select between one of the columns (your pointer will change shape). Select and drag to the new width. All selected columns will change.

All I have done is add the following into the report's Region Header:

</style>The headers have all be set to be left-aligned. Each column should be 200px wide (even though I'm setting the width on the headers, it will be applied to the entire column unless a cell's contents is wider, in which case the column is made wider). The final entry above adjusts the height of all TDs within the IR table.

Set default width for text box in Adobe Acrobat X

Hello!
I am using the textbox tool to add comments to a document. (not the Typewriter, but the Textbox, since that has more flexibility for formatting the text).
I know how to set the default proprties for text size, color, background color, etc.
Cannot figure out however to to set the default width. Every time I try to add a new textbox, it defaults to about 1 or 2 inches wide, so the text wraps around and around, and then I have to resize the box when I am done.
Is there a way to change the default width?

I drew a box I like, and select, and then, Ctrl+C, and then Ctrl+V.
And move the pasted box where to need, and resize the length. At least I get same width boxes.
I don't know how to default it.
I hope it may help you.

Setting dynamic widths for textfields in as3?

I have 3 textfields. they're in a sprite container. 1. date 2. pipe_mc movieclip 3. title field. I need to set it so that the textfield/mc/textfield;s x property changes dynamically when a shorter or longer date gets added into the field, via XML.

Do you have the textfield set up to be autoSized? Is there a reason for having three textfields separate rather than combining the text into one textfield with sufficient spacing between the entries?

Setting create date for versioned documents

Hi,
I'm trying to explicitly set the create date for a versioned document (as in, the versions for the document), using the Content DB java API.
What I'm trying to do is basically this (pseudo-code):
- Create an unversioned document (the folders do not have auto-version turned on) with the create date explicitly set. This works fine.
- Make it versioned
- Check it out, upload a new version with the create date set, check it back in
It is at the last step where I seem to have problems -- the act of checking a file back in seems to reset the create date to be the date of checkin rather than the date I set.
Is there any way of accomplishing what I'm trying to do?

How to set column width for Label in Form region?

In the form region, the label value is a lengthy text, and it does not wrap. How do I make it wrap to a fixed column width?
Under Home>Application Builder>Application>Page>Edit Page Item,
i have set "HTML Table Cell Attributes" to width="300", but it still does not wrap. and pushes the field to the right end of the page.
I am quite sure there are better ways of doing this.

I had set the label template to "Optional" and that was forcing a "nowrap". After unsetting the template, I used your suggestion and it works like a charm. Thanks.

Set the length property.
But in case the length of the values are less(and there are more columns to display), OA framework would automatically decrease the width of this column to make space for other columns.

Does anyone have any ideas on how Facebook sets the width for UITableViewCells?
If you look, they're not always the full width of the screen, but sometimes have an avatar image to the left or right.

They're probably not changing the width of the cell, just moving the items inside each cell.

Set the table's width for TableView

I am creating a new TableView with few columns and I am trying to set the width for the entire table. I searched the API but it only gives me setMaxWidth. I tried but, it didn't work. Can anyone suggest me how to set the tables width.
I am doing this:

table.setMaxWidth(600);
table.setLayoutX(15);
table.resize(40, 40);
But nothing really changed the entire table's width.

Setting column width in OBIEE Answers report

Hi All,
Not sure if this has been asked before in the forums, but I did not succeeded in finding any clues. We have an OBIEE 10g Answers table view report that we need to display on our dashboard. The problem is that we need to set some width for all the columns in the report so that report does not extends horizontally as data in column grows but not much luck setting width in Column Properties. Since I am a newbie in the world of OBIEE, so I would appreciate any guidance with setting widths in an Answers report.

Hi,
The best option to do this is :
1. Create a report which has less data. And in the column properties hide it.
2. Edit the Dashboard page and there is an option called 'Add Column'
3. Place the report with the hidden column.
4. Please hide the complete section and remove the collapsible. And save it
5. When you view the report, it would not appear in the page but you can view the desired report.
Please let me know if you still face issues.
