Setting up a records section?

I have a form i created to keep track of the sick time at work. The form needs to be printed and saved. On the old system we have we are able to hit a back button and see all of the forms we have ever filled out and printed. it like a records section that keeps the filled out forms with the document. Is this possible with acrobat 11?

  • New iMac...trying to set up sound recording form the internet but my microphone isn't working for facetime.  I have soundflower installed...recording into Adobe Audition. Can't seem to get them all working...any help?

    I'm just setting up my iMac, and am not very familiar as I'm just coming over from Windows.  Working on setting up my recordeing software (will most likely be Audition) and I need to be able to record from the internet as well as from a microphone.
    I've installed soundflower but now the micropohone is not working in facetime.  What is the proper way to set all this up?

    I would do 1 thing at a time:"now the micropohone is not working in facetime"
    Here is what you can check to get your mike working in facetime:
    1. Hold down option while you click on the speaker next to time a. date,
    under input Device see if your mic is marked. If not: ✔️
    2. Click the apple top left/System Prefs./click on the Sound speaker:
    under Input highlight microphone.
    3. When you have factime on go to video above scroll and see if your mic is marked ✔️
    If that does not get it to work there is more you can check:
    (Utilities/Audio, midi setup)
    For any other audio device you do this for input and output.
    If you get stock post back

  • SB Audigy 2ZS Plarinum Pro: setting source for recording

    Hello!
    I am having problems setting the source for recording. I want to set the recording source from 'Wave' (default) to 'Line-In /Mic'. After doing so with the mixer or the MediaSource Player it resets to 'Wave' after some time. Why? Can I force the software to make 'Line-In /Mic' the default setting? It really dri'ves me nuts to see that the source has changed without me being notified. I want to have the source changed only by myself and not by some cozmic radiation, God's will, voodoo magic and whatnot.

So can you go to control panel, and sound and there look at your recording devices and tell me what do you see? If your desired device is there, you can choose it as the default and then throughout the rest of windows, this will be THE global default recording device or the first choice, when you are in other programs to record from. Also, make sure your device is plugged in when making this change. On my system with that board, a few years ago, I could make the choice, but it would always pick something else when the source was unplugged. For example, if I were using the front bay inputs as recording, when I would unplug them and reboot, my system picked the next thing as default.
    Next go into to your Creative Control panel and do the same thing there. Theoretically your choices should be linked, but this is not always the result. I can choose mine in Vista and windows 7, but lastly I always go to the Creative mixer applet and do it there and that works best. For me, my default is my front panel Mic or Microphone FP but as soon as I unplug it, it wants to make my back mic jack the default.

    Are you are using an audio interface?
    Are you recording external instruments... you will need to explain what kind of audio, virtual instruments, loops, recorded audio through an interface?
    If you're recording through an audio interface (or the computer's audio input) Logic's plugins cannot stop peaks as Software is -after- the the hardware input. If you're getting peaks recording through hardware you will need to bring down input levels.

    RAS SDKs may help you to achive your task.
    I would suggest you to see setGroupSectionsOption and setReportSectionsOption of CharacterSeparatedValuesExportFormatOptions class given in RAS APIs.

    date1 = w_date1(ztable-date1). "ztable-date1 - is screen field.
    but it is giving error "The field "W_DATE1" is unknown, but there is a field with the similar name "DATE1" . . . ."
    actually that value is coming after triggering PBO event but i want that value in at time of calling F4 help at that screen filed

    There is no setting for that on the phone. Some carriers provide ringback tones, which play instead of the caller hearing a ring. But I am not aware of an app that would play a message prior to you picking up the phone. The amount of time before you pick up is not a constant, and if it lasts too long, then the call would go to voicemail.

    I'm quite unfamiliar with SPF records, but I'm using FreshBooks to invoice my clients. However, my invoices seem to be going to many people's junk and spam folders. Freshbooks is suggesting to set an SPF record to avoid this. Can this be done with icloud emails, or is this specifically for a privately owned domain email?

    I'm having trouble getting mail sent from external users to email accounts setup on my internally hosted server.
    I have setup my server in a Standard Configuration using the following format for my FQDN:
    server.mydomain.com (not real name)
    I have checked both Primary Zone and Reverse Zone and both check fine.
    I can send and receive email, while connected within my local domain, between users I have setup on my server using the format:
    [email protected]
    I can send email from inside the network to an outside email account, but cannot receive email from any users outside.
    I have POP, IMAP, and SMTP ports (110, 143, and 25, respectively) all forwarded to my server thru my AEBS.
    Consulting the setup guides, I have found these references to editing the MX record to allow for external email access using the [email protected] format:
    +"If you don’t want to use your server’s fully qualified DNS name for users’ email addresses, the+
    +DNS service must also include an MX record for your server. For example, if your server’s DNS+
    +name is myserver.example.com and you want to have email addresses like [email protected],+

    1) What format do you want your users' email address in? (e.g. [email protected], >[email protected], [email protected], etc.)
    I want my users to have a [email protected] email address.
    I set up an A record as you suggested:
    mail.mydomain.com A 1.2.3.4
    My MX record was setup:
    mydomain.com 10 mail.mydomain.com
    However, I am still getting returned email from outside users. They are getting the following error:

  • Data Merge - Sets of Single Records?

    I am trying to use data merge to fill in fields, only problem is I need 2 sets of 2 records on one page. I could possibly reformat this to work on one page, but I would still need 2 sets for each record. Also, I know I could probably just change the data to have 2 of each record, but assume the data is unable to be changed. If there is a way to make a text box a slave of another where it could mimic the original record, maybe I could do it that way, I just don't know if that is possible. See image below.

    I don't think there's any way to do this directly, but it could be done in two steps using a script to get your two-up layout.
    First, set up a page to hold only one record and do the two instances of the names as a single record per page.
    Next, go to http://forums.adobe.com/message/1308215 and copy the rotatepage.js script into a plain text editor like notepad, and save  withthe .js extension in the Scripts panel subdolder of the scripts folder in your user profile or user library. In Windows XP the path is \Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\Version 5.0\Scripts\Scripts Panel and it will be similar in other operating systems.
    To run the script, double-click it in the scripts panel. I Think it should run as is, but if it fails, make a new subfolder in the scripts panel folder called "Version 3.0 Scripts" (without the quotes) and move it into that, then try again. Waht this script does is make a PDF of the open file, then create a new file with rotated pages and places the PDF rotated into the new file. The primary use was for doing things like calendars, but it will work to give you spreads that you can print (by checking the spreads box in the print dialog) as two-up.

    I have used a plug in (XMPie) to InDesign to generate a 4 page variable document. This document contains multiple records. I have created a PDF output a file containing 800 pages. The problem is, I need to be able to define where the end of each record is so that I can properly collate and staple each record (4 pages) separately. Is there a way to do this in Acrobat?

    Adobe proior to version 9 discouraged multiple Acrobat/Reader product/versions on the same client. Version 9 says it is OK but you still need to set each applications preferences correct to stop the sibling bickering. Too many posts about this.

    How can i set define supplementary options found in the "Printer" section of the InDesign dialog box in a print preset using Applescript?
    I would like my script to set duplex option with the proper binding, according to the page orientation.
    When creating print presets manually, these extra options are stored in the print preset, but I can't find how to access them thru Applescript.

    Thanks for your reply, but it is not yet clear to me.
    I know you can set some print properties in the Apple Print event, such as copies, collating, target printer ...but how can I adress the printer-specific options, such as duplex printing? Could you give me a sample line of code?
    And next step, how can I include this "Apple -print" setting in an InDesign Print preset using Applescript? I suppose I have to set the apple printer prefs before creating the InDesign preset. Right?

    6i is an old version and I don't remember if there is a Set_Item_Instance_Property() built-in. If yes, you can use it with a Visual Attribute that held the colors.

  • Selecting set no of records

    I have a report that is being grouped by a consultant name. I need to only interrogate the last 100 sales since the date the report is ran. I have listed all sales by consultant and ordered them so that the most recent sale appears at the top of the list. However, some have less than 100 sales and some have more. How do I only show the last 100 (or less) sales from the report date?

    If all you want is the top 100 records period...
    There are 2 ways that I know of:
    1) Use a SQL Command as your data source. Something like this
    SELECT TOP 100
    FieldList
    FROM TableName
    ORDER BY SalesDate DESC;
    This is the most efficient means of getting you what you are looking for because it only pulls the 1st 100 records out of the database and those are the only records that CR has to process. It also means that you have to be able to write SQL.
    2) Create a suppression formula on the details section of your report
    IF RecordNumber > 100 THEN TRUE ELSE FALSE
    This is obviously easier but it still brings in ALL of the records. It just displays the 1st 100. If you have a large number of sales taking place within a given time frame, you can limit the total data pull by selecting on a specific criteria such as records falling within a given date range.
    Unfortunately, there is no "Top #" of records feature in CR. It requires a workaround.
