Setting up my 4G LTE USB Modem, when attemping to connect recieving error VZW_NETWORK_ERROR_LTE_CO_OTHER? Can anyone explain how to correct setup.
I just purchase a 4G LTE USB modem to use with my laptop but having issue with the connecting being made. This is the error I am receiving. Can someone explain the process correctly.

Always go out to VZW and check to see if there is a newer version when you have problems. Even if there isn't a reinstall can clear up many temporary problems with these devices.
Your error mentions something about connecting to LTE. Perhaps there is an issue with the authentication of your device. It might be a good idea to contact VZW to make sure you are properly registered. You also might want to try connecting in a different location incase there is something wrong with your current environment. Connecting to a different tower or in a different location may be able to work around the problem.

In the latest upgrade for iMovie 10' there is no "export to QuickTime" or other way to set your preferred export settings? can anyone explain how to do this now?

I'm a long time Mac user, ical user, mac Mail user, Mobile Me user, iPhone and now iPad user. I have a Work and Personal Calendar in iCal. Whenever this new MobileMe and iCal came out, nothing works as I think it should. My calendars are on my mac and show up on my devices but I can't for the life of me figure out how to invite via my work address and accept invites again coming through my work email.
I've given up trying to fix it and would probably just start over but here's the thing. I don't know how this is suppose to work or be setup.
Here's what I want to do and I'm hoping someone could tell me the best setup...
I need my invites to go out with my work email account setup in Mail.
I need to have a separate work and personal calendar
I need to have my calendar show up on my iphone, ipad and my mac (I don't care about online mobileme)
I need to be able to accept invites that come in from my work email account (not mobileme)
I need to be able to add events via my iphone, ipad and mac ideally via push
I'm willing to nuke my entire setup if I can import in my existing calendars or at least the individual events.

Sorry if I am unable to reply to any of the existing posts, or reply to any replies that get posted here, but I just wanted to let Verizon's Apple IPhone 4 Support team and Community Members know that the reason that I am now mostly using my new Novatel Wireless 551L 4G LTE USB Modem to surf the Internet instead of my Apple IPhone 4 is that I am getting very slow 3G Speeds fom my Apple IPhone 4 all of a sudden, and it is NOT even a year old yet. Anyone who needs to use the Internet on their Cell Phones should know, this IPhone is not for you!
Hello Verizon, just checked back in today to see what going on and I can tell you that my 551L connects just fine at 4G LTE on Windows, still NOT functioning on my Mac OS X, but very happy with my 551L, also very happy with my IPhone 4S, have had some problems with Data Overages due to the fact that my Parents aren't letting me use their Comcast Connection (I live with my Parent's due to living on Social Security and being a Medicare/Medicaid Dual Eligable), other than that I have been fine. I was more than a little annoyed about two months ago when you guys disconected my service but I am over that now, I will however switch to either Sprint or Virgin Moble if it happens again, just to let you guys know that I was NOT very happy with being Disconnected, expecially since I am Low Income and I did NOT have the kind of Money that you were asking for at the time. Just FYI.

Can I install VRZ manager on Chromebook, and use the USB modem on it to connect to the internet?

RickNo! Chromebook uses Android OS, you will a CradlePoint MBR95 or Pepwave Surf on The Go Router to insert the UML290 and then you can use the built in wifi in the Chromebook to connect to the router and get internet access.

Hi, I forgot my user password mac 10.9.4 I don't need it to log in but i need it to make changes, etc. It says a password hasn't been set for this account but it still asks for one when i click on the lock icon. can anyone help me? thx!
This is a little confusing since you say you have forgotten your password and then the system says you have not entered a password. Even with an Admin account you must have a password to install software.
If you are using Mac OS X 10.7 or above, you can change the admin password by restarting holding the Command and R keys, from the menu bar select Utilities, then Terminal. When the Terminal window opens, at the cursor type exactly:
resetpassword
and press Enter. When the Reset Password window opens, select the internal hard drive, and then the user account. Type a new password twice, leave the Hint blank, and then Save. Accept the next dialog that opens, and at the bottom of the Reset Password window agree to resetting the home directory permissions.
Quit the Reset Password window, go to the apple left side of the menu bar, Restart.
And you have a new password for your account. -
Can someone explain how these settings work together? Manual seams to contraduct the SILENCE setting at the bottom of the Do Not Disturb page. It's very confusing.
You should have seen information in the support document that you linked from. It used to be with the first version of Do Not Disturb that it would only function when the device was locked. That changed with iOS 7, and not it can be active all of the time. With it on Manual, it is on, but if you have the device "awake" that you can still receive calls/texts, etc. Sort of like you have the phone awake, so it isn't a problem for you to receive things. If you set the settings for Always, this means you can be doing things on the phone and not be disturbed by anything else. Does that make sense?

You can create and add another Screen Name to iChat.
From iChat 4 you can have as many AIM Logins and Jabber Logins as you want.
"AIM" in this case includes the Apple IDs (@mac.com and @me.com ending names) that also work as Valid AIM Screen Names as well as AIM registered Names.
"Jabber Names" includes using Google Mail IDs and Facebook IDs as well as any registration with any other Jabber server.
If you are not happy with the one you have you can delete and stop using it.
Both Adding and Deleting are done in iChat > Preferences> Accounts.
Highlight an Account/Name and then the minus button to delete.
Using the Plus button show you the Add Screen.

Can anyone explain in simple terms how to set up icloud when I have 2 identities?
I use my mac.com id for my calendar and contacts, but have a different ID for store purchases and everything else. I would like to set up my iCloud with a single ID, but I don't want to lose all my historical calendar and contact data, so I need my iCloud tpo import the data from the Mobile.Me 'mac.com' account.
Everything I have read is confusing....can anyone explain in simple terms how I sert the iCloud up? I run a Macbook, a Windows 7 PC and an iphone, and I need them all to syns together.

You can drag all your contacts (all at once) and each calendar from address book and iCal to your desktop as a back up/copy. Once you have set up iCloud using the ID for your apps, books and tunes etc, you can add the contacts and calendars to the new account by clicking on the desktop files, iCloud will sync them to your other devices. -
Can anyone explain in the Boundary Groups the Setting of Connection SLOW and FAST?

we have many locations with DP´s and created Boundary Groups with the Connection FAST.
Now we have some Clients outside they are connected only with UMTS or DSL.
For DSL the connections is set to FAST and for UMTS is set to SLOW.
I must explain that i take over a configuration because i am a new employee here.
Can anyone explain me the different, in detail, of SLOW and FAST?

My Facebook app stopped working on my iPad. It keeps asking me to put the FB password in settings. When I do it tells me "unable to connect to server". Can anyone help?
This problem affects many (including myself) and seems to be a bug in the integration of the FB app in iOS 7.
You can get around the login problem by turning Settings/Privacy for FB off. However, after you turn that Privacy setting back on after logging in, then iOS 7 will continue to pester you with pop-up messages to enter the password in Settings. This will invariably fail with the error message that you have already experienced, but at least it gives a way of logging in.
The solution will in my view have to come jointly from Apple and FB.
