SetVisible does not have same functionality as deprecated show

I want to remove deprecated methods from my code, but I'm a bit stumped. I have a modal dialog that uses Dialog.show, which does not return until the dialog is hidden or disposed. This blocks processing until the user responds to the dialog. The suggested replacement for Dialog.show is Component.setVisible, but it does not block until the dialog is disposed. How should I wait for the user to respond to the dialog?

I'll give that a try, but I'm not optimistic. I don't see why Component.setVisible will care about Dialog.setModal. I also don't understand why the implementation of JOptionPane would still use Dialog.show.

Just to clarify what your saying under menu > settings > Connectivity the only option you can see is Bluetooth? There are no other options to select?
Because under the connectivity menu you should be able to Network, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, Settings, Connection manager, Mobile data tracker, Data Transfer, Video sharing, Admin settings and play via radio.
All the options should be visible on the connectivity menu on a N8 with Nokia Belle installed.

An iPhone 3G can only be updated to iOS 4.2.1...that's the end of the line for that model, and an iPhone 3G can only be updated to iOS 4.2.1 using iTunes. Software update, directly on the phone, is not available for the iPhone 3G.

Music app does not have the function to change the audio source.

I use to change my audio source in my music app with the icon that looks like a triangle going into a rectangle i think it is call airplay, but it not there any more and what it is weir is that others app does have it so if i change my audio source in a video online it will change it in my music too..... Was the printer instance properly configured when created, so the print subsystem picked the correct PPD and knows of all the device's capabilities? If in doubt, erase and create anew so you can confirm that the printer maker/model/version is getting correctly identified. This may trigger Software Update to download & install a printer update. Of course you can have sent items in your mail on the iPhone 4. I have mine there all the time.
Sounds like you might have issues with the software.
I recommend trying a reset, send email and see if that goes to the sent items directory
If not do a restore.

ADE 2.0 does not have icon buttons for "divided two-page" and "single page" like ADE 1.7? Since ADE 1.8 Preview version was temporarily available to download, there has been disappeared such functions....

There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1). Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)

Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically.
It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.
Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.

One likely reason is the % battery is not that accurate because of the smaller battery capacity in the iPod compared to iPhone and iPad. Users why use a % battery app post that the % reading changes a lot.

Using a dll function that does not have any inputs from a VI

Hello all, I'm very new to Labview, I have wraped a dll library using the LVlib wizard and now I am trying to use it in a project. I have a function that does not take any inputs or return any thing except that a struct is populated with some status information as part of the call. I am able to draw a StartInterface VI because my void startInterface(const char* configFile, struct status_struct* status) takes the location of a configutation file as an input. But I can not figure out how to connect my Call Library Node to my a function vi that does not have any inputs ( void shutdownInterface(struct status_struct* status)).
Note that the status struct is deffined to be only and out put at the creation of the LVLIB.

I think I am aware of the conotations of inputs and outputs when I created the lvlib I specified the argument struct status_struct* status as only an output instead of the default of input and output.
I do not think that I am doing anything as complex as function callbacks. My immediate goal is to have an executable (I have application builder) with two buttons and two three text fields one text field for the input of the config file, two text-fields for a cstring that is contained in the status struct; one button to start the interface and one button to stop the interface.
This is in all likely hood a case of my self being too dense and missing something fundimental ;-) I just can't figure out how to wire the shut down method after I've configured the call library node. See the attached pictures:

Import and Backup is the third (last) button on the toolbar in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) that looks like a star.<br />
Other platforms show the text label, but on Mac you only see toolbar icons.
