Shared Event Types Bundle + local event repository = Error in table source

Hi,
I'm using a CEP bundle for propagating shared event types to other deployed Applications. In one application, I am declaring an event type locally in the EPN
i.e.

<Unknown event type [someLocalEvent] associated to external data source [table1]> But if I put it in the shared event repository, it works as expected. What if the event type is not meant to be shared? Is it impossible to add new event types locally and aggregate it with shared events?

yup it's in the same application. weird though, I started from scratch and it started to work. Must have been an error in other EPN components that screwed the event repository initialization.

Please provide a copy of your System Information file. Type System Information in the Search Box above the start Button and press the ENTER key
(alternative is Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information). Select File, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. The system creates a new System Information file each time system information is accessed.
You need to allow a minute or two for the file to be fully populated before exporting a copy. Please upload to your Sky Drive, share with everyone and post a link here. Please say if the report has been obtained in safe mode.

To access the System log select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, from the list in the left side of the window select Windows

Some Event Viewer reports are generated solely because the computer is in safe mode or safe mode with networking. You have at least one example of this in your long list. If you do not see the same report for a time when

Event 315 error 2114

On a Win7/64 with an Hp Laserjet P2055DN network printer, I get event 315 error 2114 (The print spooler failed to share printer Printername with shared resource name Printername . Error 2114. The printer cannot be used by others on the network)
on almost every startup. The printer works fine, both from the Win7 machine and a McBook wireless connected to my wired/wireless Linksys WRT160N Router. Printer driver is up to date, nothing stuck in print queue, all permission for sharing turned on.
Again, printer prints fine, but I keep getting the event and error message in Admin on startup. In Experts Exchange, in the server 2008 section here, I read this:

I can't give you an answer, but I have the exact same problem. I'm running a Win7/64 machine with an Epson R1900 printer, and each time on startup I get an error 2114 and an event ID 315. Usually some other function times out as well, although not always,
which I suspect is due to the above problem. Below you can see the information about the event. Someone with similar problems and/or with a fix?

I would like to issue an error in table maintenace event without exiting the screen.
When I am going to save in table maintenace then i am getting error but at the same time it is exiting table maintenace screen. I want to stay on the same screen but only want to give error message. Please can you help me in this ?

Event handler error

Do you have any Mail plug-ins installed? Mail Act-on, MailTags or whatever? If so, try disable them and then see if the scripts work.

Dynamic Event Registration Error

Hi,
I'm getting to grips with Dynamic events in LabVIEW. However, I've encountered an issue i'm not sure on. When I try to register a cluster of control refs to the Register for Events function I get an error.. See Dynamic Event Registration.vi for small vi highlighting the issue.

That helped me somewhat, however, I'm still experiencing problems. My events seem to be registering correctly but don't seem to generate when I trigger them. I've configured the event structure to execute should one of the controls in my cluster change value. However, the only event case that get's executed is the timeout case.
I've attached a vi highlighting my problem named Dynamic Event Problem.vi. My real vi is much larger and contains many sub vis so hopefully what I've attached suffices..

Event Code Error when switching networks

Although I am running a standalone version of P6 on my laptop, I continually receive event code errors when I switch between two networks. This often happens when I need to switch from a client network to my mobile hotspot. Or, if I'm away from laptop for any length of time and it 'goes to sleep' without having closed out of P6, when I return I will have an event code error that requires me to close and then restart P6.
I'm running Windows 7 SP1, Firefox 24.0, P6 Release 7.0.0 (Build 00000092)
Any help is greatly appreciated.

In regards to the problem when the computer goes to sleep, if you look in the event viewer you will see that Windows is dropping the network connection - not sure of any other workaround to this than disabling the sleep/hibernate function.
As for the problem when you switch between networks, other than making sure you log out before making the network switch the only thing I can think of would be to try and make sure the connection is using 'localhost' or possibly '127.0.0.1' instead - this is in the vague hope that these connections will hold true even when the network behind the scenes is changing (this also assumes SQL Server, changing this for an Oracle XE database would be a bit different)

Event Viewer Error Reports

How do I send all my event viewer error reports from 3/1/15 to the manufacturer of my computer? IN the event viewer window there seems to be a lock on opening submenu to perform a copy and paste or a SEND option available. I have a WINDOWS 8.1
OPERATING SYSTEM.

You should be able to right click on each indivudual log "App, Sec, Setup, System, etc" and click on Save all events as.

I have recently installed SCOM 2012 R2 in preparation to migrate over from 2007R2.
I have only one agent installed ( a Domain cotroller) and have found the 'One or more Domain controllers may not be replicating' rule is causing Event 10830 error every 15 minutes:
An alert couldn't be inserted to the database. This could have happened because of one of the following reasons:
- Alert is stale. The alert is generated by an MP recently deleted.
- Database connectivity problems or database running out of space.
- Alert received is not valid.

Up2date http forbidden error when trying to use local yum repository

I have recently set up a local yum repository according to the directions in the document located at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/servers-storage-admin/yum-repo-setup-1659167.html
Now, when I run up2date -u, I get the following output:
There was a fatal error communicating with the server. The message was:

Error Message: Forbidden
Thinking this was a problem with my repository or web server setup, I used wget to download the header.info file mentioned in the error, but this works perfectly as shown from the output below:

Thanks for the helpFirst of all, having both of these setup is completely redundant. The only difference between these two channels is that the el5 channel contains rpms from before the release of OL5.6 and up to now and the ol5 channel only contains everything since OL5.6 to now.
Second, can you post the entire sources file?
Third, though Dude isn't completely correct about the use of up2date, you can use yum on OL5 to get updates from the server, but you'd need to just use yum and not up2date in that case. For some reason, when you configure up2date to use yum via the sources file it uses a completely different stack of yum software other than the yum client that is installed by the yum rpms. Instead, it uses the older header format provided by yum-arch. When you use yum by itself, it uses the metadata that's created from createrepo instead (think repodata).
Fourth, you may have better luck with using the yum client overall. And actually, in the long run you would be better served to use yum since asa OL4 is phased out, we're going to discontinue yum-arch which will in turn stop the up2date clients from working in this scenario. (Note: we don't use yum-arch to generate header information for ULN.)

Time events with errors

Hi,
Whether I can delete the entire error pool list?
Since 2003, the post processing errors were still exists. These errors can be ignored. In the "Time Events with Errors: Postprocessing" screen, I have an option to delete a single batch process errors. I couldn't find an option to delete an entire pool list. ie,, to delete batch process from 2003 to 12/2007.
Is there a way to do mass delete?

Actually I want to delete those errors, which was generated while POSTing time events.
We have a clock interface, from there we poll a clock-in and out time for all employees and then this will be uploaded to SAP, then its posted to TIMEVENT. While Posting, if there is error, it stores in transp. table CC1ERH and CC1ERP. I need to delete these entries. Is there any standard report available to delete old records?
