Shared Review email invitations won't send

I have been trying to get a shared review via Acrobat.com ready for a class I will teach tonight. I really would like to use that pathway for convenience, but the email invitations will not get sent. There is a message after uploading the file that says the emails could not be sent.
Is this a current bug in Acrobat.com or in Acrobat Pro?
What needs to be done to allow this?

At  home, it is Tiger, and it is Acrobat Pro (9), and up-to-date on all the
updates. Apple Mail.
Tonight it is functioning just fine during class.
Maybe there was some other temporary issue. I will have to check back at
home if it still won't work.

  • Upgraded to 5S and my bt email address won't send emails

Upgraded to 5S and my bt email address won't send emails, how do I resolve this?

  • IPhone email receives, won't send - have read through forums, nothing works

    Hoping someone can help.
my iPhone receives email but won't send.
I first tried the automatic sync through iTunes as I am on an iMac and use the Mail client. That didn't work.
Then I deselected 'sync' and set up the account directly on my iPhone. First I did it just like my blackberry (which always worked) - as a POP account, with the same settings as on my computer.
Then i tried it as an IMAP and Exchange account. didn't work.
Please tell me it's something simple I'm doing wrong - here are the details:
    Incoming mail server:
    host: mail.website.com
    user: sarah+website.com
    password
    Outgoing Mail Server:
smtp.earthlink.net - also tried smtp.website.net, with and without SSL
    sarah+website.com
password - tried it with and without user + password (as i never needed this on bberry)
If anyone has any suggestions at all I would be grateful -
    thanks so much,
    sarah

We went to the "www.apple.com/support/iphone/mailhelper/" and followed all its directions (you are asked to enter your e-mail address, and it returns with everything you need to enter to set up the info).
Before this worked, we had to undo the mail sync in iTunes, then select the "eject iPhone" from a pull down, unplug the iPhone. We then deleted the earthlink account we had first created. Then we recreated a new Earthlink account using the info given us from the link above. The only thing we had to change was under Settings/Mail/Authentication ... don't select anything. It defaults to the MD5 thing but doesn't display anything -- just leave it that way.
I guess that sometimes the sync operation muddles up the process when first creating yor mail accounts.

  • Email account won't send from iphone

I just switched from a blackberry to iphone 4. I have set up all of my email accounts but my work account won't send emails to any accounts that are not from our server. I never had this problem with my blackberry so I know it can be done. The message always says "email address rejected by server". Anyone else have this problem?

    hi there
Sorry no answer, just to say i am getting the same message when trying to send mail from my yahoo account. I have a Microsoft exchange account for work which seems to be fine.
    Glad i am not alone!

  • Acrobat Pro X Shared Review email issue

One of our agency users is having problems sending shared reviews.  When she gets to the final step of sending the shared review the TO: field will not allow her to add e-mail addresses either manually or via the Outlook address book.  This happens sporatically for her, but not for other users and is a recent occurance.
The machine is Windows XP, Office 2007, Adobe Pro X.  SharePoint 2007 and Outlook is the e-mail client. We create shared reviews by collecting comments on our own internal server > SharePoint Workspace > Send Automatically Using Adobe Acrobat > As a link within Message.  The reviews are given a unique server profile for each review and each review is given it's own workspace.

Did she install Outlook after installing Acrobat X? Although this should not create any issue but still running a repair for Acrobat might help.

  • Email attachments won't send

I've been trying to email some photos using the Mac mail but they won't send. I keep having to revert to Outlook to send them.
I have no problems sending emails without an attachment.
The problem seems to be with larger attachments although I can recieve OK.
Please can someone help as I don't want to keep having to rely on Outlook?
    Thank you

No email setting would stop an iphone from talking, connecting, to a computer. Two totally different things and completely unrelated. Also none of the settings for your email on your computer has any effect with the Email settings on your phone. Two totally different independent devices and totally different settings. One can not influence the other.
Be advised that most ISPs put a limit on how big an Email attachment can be for both sending and receiving. And that limit is around 10MB for most ISP, and or Email providers. So even though you can send attachment greater then that soft limit of 10MB doesn't mean the person you are sending it to can receive it as their ISP may reject it because of the over the limit size of it.

  • Email outbox won't send messages??

Not sure what is up but there is some sort of a "connection" error when I send an email from my Droid phone and it won't send the emails?

The settings to send mail from your phone is different than from your home PC. Who is your ISP?

  • Some email addresses won't send - sometimes.

I just upgraded to Lion. Here's my unusual issue: Some of the emails I try to send using Apple Mail get rejected by my ISP's outgoing mail server ( I am required to use the ISP's outgoing server to send mail using password authentication). I can't seem to find any rhyme or reason as to when and why this happens. It is an "on again, off again" issue and occurs at different times to different email addresses I am trying to send to. Sometimes an email address is allowed to be sent to by my ISP. Sometimes it is not. When the message is disallowed, I get ths following error message:
"Sending the message content to the server failed. Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent."
I cannot send mail using any other outgoing server other than the one the ISP requires. About 95% of my messages make it through there.
Initially, I assumed the issue must be my ISP but I've tested the ISP's outgoing mail server using web mail and there is no issue there. I can also send web mail from my web hosting account. I am pretty sure Apple Mail is doing something to offend the outgoing mail server. Anyone have any ideas? This is very odd.

The symptoms you describe sound like an unstable Internet connection to me. Webmail and SMTP are two different things, so when web mail does work, that does not mean that you can connect to the mail servers through SMTP. Could be the Internet connection or a firewall. You should try to send the same mail, with the same outgoing mail server at different times, when that works once and does not work another time, it is very likely that this is a problem that only your ISP can fix, since no settings have changed...
    Hope that helps

  • Invite won't send email

I have added a user to my team and Adobe does not send the e-mail for the invite to him.  He already has an Adobe ID.  If I install CC on his PC it does not show him as a team member.
What can I do to resolve this problem?
    John

    One possible work-around:
    1) Create your event in your shared CALDAV calendar
    2) Add all event details EXCEPT FOR attendees
    3) Right click event and choose "Mail Event" from the menu
This at least seems to be a way to get the event out to a mixed group of users in which some attendees are part of the server user group and others are external to the organization.

  • Shared Review Email Suppression

    Hi
I'm trying to use the Automatically collect comments on my own internal server using Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
I've setup the WebDav folder and everything is working fine when I use Acrobat Standard 8. I can review and comment and i close Adobe and the comments are automatically uploaded to the WebDav folder.
However when I use Adobe X to do this I keeps asking me to email out the link/attachment for review. I do not want to do this as I’m using a workflow software that will do the email for me.
I really need to suppress the email section and just get it to upload the comments to my WebDav folder.
    Is this possible at all?
    Thanks

If you don't want to send the email then you can choose to "send the file manullay" after the server selection step. This will let you create the review file and save your comments on the server, but it will not email the review file. You can choose to send this file to the concerned people using any method later.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Abhilasha.

  • Added another email account, won't send from it?

I have a couple email accounts on my phone and all is great. I just added another account from a local internet provider for a small business I have. It will recive mail from there but when I try to send i get "The sender address is invalid" I checked and double checked and all seems to set up correctly???
The account is with Plantation Cable in Georgia, if that means anything to anybody.

If the local internet service provider for this email account does not provide an authenticated SMTP server (most ISPs do not provide an authenticated SMTP server), you won't be able to send with the account using the ISP's SMTP server unless you are connected to the internet with your ISP via an available wi-fi network. When connected to the internet via AT&T'a network, you can use AT&T's SMTP server to send messages with the account, which is available on your iPhone to select as the SMTP server for the account. This may or may not work for sending with the account when connected to an available wi-fi network with a different ISP used for internet access.

  • IPhone 5 receives emails but won't send them

-- now sorted thanks to Judian35's reply (Jan '13) to a previous query. Worked a treat, but the email sending should've worked first time surely? Seemed a strange sort of fix to me. Diesels and hydraulics more my bag....

You will need to go to your email settings  - SMTP outgoing mail server and make sure the password is correct.
