Shipment status exit

can you please tell me how to find a exit for shipement status,
i have a requirement like to check the status of the shipment (if the shipment is ended then i have to do some changes in other parts)
can anybody please help..

Shipment Output determination based on shipment status.

Dear all,
In T code VT01N we are facing some issue.
The issue is like when am selecting the Shipment button and saving at that time the output type is trigging.
Actually the output type should trigger only after the shipment completion.
Could any one kindly suggest any way for Shipment Output determination based on shipment status.

I think you have to write your own REQUIREMENT CODE under the outpout type .

Process shipment status (ANSI x12 214)

Hi,
We would like to integrate with our carrriers and as a start we would like to receive the shipment status back into SAP. The EDI message that our carrier will be sending is the ANSI x12 214. Can someone explain the actions that need to be taken to process these messages into our SAP system? We are using ECC6.0.

I am unsure about the Idoc type or message type which reciev the shipment status from the carrier. once we have the Message type we can do necessary set of Idoc configuration and run the shipment file which we will receive from EDI sub system and load in to SAP tables or transactions.

PO Shipment Status Closed For Invoice

I am entering purchase order and after approval i am entering receiving. After that i am matching this po with my ap-invoice and paying as well. But in po shipments its showing staus "Closed For Invoice" and i want to show my po status "approved and closed". Please guide me how i can get this.

You can close the PO from the PO Summary screen from Tools > Control after query on the PO. But you necessarily don't have to do this as you can't update or receive on this PO.

Adapter Exchange Program Request/Shipment Status Support or Contact Info

If I submitted an adapter exchange request online on 14 October 2008 and have not yet received the new adapter and return shipment info for the old adapter, how do I request follow-up assistance/support using the Online Assistant or directly via e-mail? The Online assistant indicates that I have no outstanding service requests and does not provide an option or contact information by which to submit a new request. Subsequent duplicate Adapter Exchange Program requests are rejected without providing a follow-up option or online/email support contact information. Please advise???

They will be able to check the status of the request and/or provide further assistance if necessary.

Inbound idoc ( shipment) - Status change

Hi Experts,
I will be getting an inbound idoc containing tracking number of the shipment from an external agent.
I have to update this tracking number in the shipment and change the status of 'shipment Start' and 'Shipment End' to be completed.
1. Is this status change feasible ?
2. If so can you please guide me both to update tracking number & status .

Hi, I installed Directory Server 6.3, but when I check the status with cacaodam status or dsccsetup status , I get exit error code 11 (see below). The code 11 is missing from the man page. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did this the first time and that why I thought was a port conflict because that was what I could see when I ran sh -x. I stopped and restarted yesterday and the port change I made went away and the default (11152) was being used. I changed port back to 21152, but still got exit code 11. I then changed to 1152, but still same error. Today I came in to work and below is what I get.

TD Shipment Status Could Not be Reversed

Hi,
I've completely confirmed the TD Shipment with status 6, whenI realized that there was a little wrong number in the outbound delivery (delivery order). So, to make correction in the delivery order, I reversed both the delivery confirmation (O4H1) and loading confirmation (O4G1). It should be status 2 now, but the TD shipment is still status 5.
Then I checked with t-code O4F3, I found the documents status is still 3 and the vehicles status is still 5. Is there any t-code to reverse the documents status and vehicles status? This case is rare, and I've never found such case before.

Hi,
First of all, you may use the tcode S_SO6_65000796 to check the inconsistency in the bulk shipment.
If the above does not help to sort out your issue, then you could consider using the tcode S_SO6_65000798 to carry out the release of the shipment through an emergency report. Thereafter you would need to carry out the material document reversal manually.
Importantly, kindly read through and understand the program documentation before running the above mentioned report. You should also execute in TEST mode prior to actual execution. It is also better to simulate the above mentioned scenario in sandbox and carry out this release before executing in the Production system.
Please note this is only an emergency report.

Regarding SHipment function exit

Hi Experts,
I have to update some custom table in the function exit of VT01n transaction code based on some condition.
I have done it using update statement as it is custom table there is no problem.
BUT in the code After that UPDATE statement ,based on some condition i have to through a message which will stop the transactionn.
In that case if i exit from the transaction using exit button in the menu bar, the updated custom table has to roll back.
Can i use ROLL BACK Statement. in the function exit in that case.
If i use that ,does it effect any standard functionality.
Orelse is there any alternative solution for that.

If u r updating the custom table in the same exit where u r throwing the message , don't use the commit work after updating the table. use it at end of the exit.

Returning a Macbook Pro 15.4 to original shipment status

I am getting ready to send my grandfather my old Macbook pro. Although It would be simple enough to try to educate him how to insert the DVD, hold the C key and follow along, I was wondering if its possible to return the hard disk to the same status that it was when I bought it, with a clean install that simply needs to be powered on and boots into the intital configuration and installation? I find the simplest way to do it is the following…
1) Boot of the Installation DVD 1.
2) Use Disk utility to erase and write zeros to the drive \[optional].
3) Do a standard software install (Erase and install if you did not previously use DU).
4) After the software on DVD 2 is installed and you have gotten to the "Welcome" animation do an Command-Q. At some point you will be offered and option to Shutdown. Select it and then it's as good as new
5) Test it by booting and you should get the "welcome" animation again. Command-Q again to get out and shutdown.

Depends on the item. Apple have always been really good with shipping.
I placed an order for an iMac on Wednesday at 1245pm and I got it the next day!

Ordered new iBook, no shipment status for a week!!

I ordered my iBook G4 on the 17th of october, and shipment began on the 26th of october. I still haven't received my order. I have tried to phone the apple store, but I have no reply. The problem is that I ordered my iBook whilst I was in France, and I'm only home(UK) for a week, so I would like to have it before I return.
Please could someone give me an e-mail address or a telephone number to contact apple.

Shipment time depends on your location. Most importantly, it depends on whether you've ordered a standard configuration, or if you've ordered a built-to-order machine. Standard config machines may be shipped on the same day or the next, and may come from the warehouses other than Taiwan (for example, if you order a standard config machine in the States, they may send one to you from a warehouse in the States, hence it may only take a couple of business days).
On the other hand, if you've purchased a built-to-order machine, there will be significant delays because (1) the machine has to be queued for customization, (2) most built-to-order machines are assembled and shipped from Taiwan, hence the longer and less reliable shipping time.
My guess is if you've purchased a built-to-order machine to be sent to the UK, your iBook will likely arrive on the week of November 7th. It'll be unlikely that you'll receive it at the end of this week. If you've purchased a standard config iBook, you'll have better chances of receiving it this week. The main concern is how long your iBook will take to be cleared from customs.
Once the iBook has been shipped, Apple can't answer your questions about shipping. If you have any inquiries on shipping, you should find the purchase code and/or the tracking number for whichever courier is responsible for the shipping, and call up the courier instead. Apple does not keep track of where your machine is for you.

SMS for Post shipment statuses

We are trying to build a SMS functionality for customer orders that will keep the customers informed about where their goods are currently until the goods reach the customer. I wanted to know general thoughts from people who might have implemented this feature for their clients/organizations.
I basically want to know how was this feature implemented: which system was receiving events from carriers, were those events getting stored any where, was SAP (or whichever ERP) doing the job of receiving event information, what was the overall delay in sending the SMS?
We are at the stage of architecting a solution for this and wanted to know how others might have handled this.
PS: This may not be a SAP SD question per se but since SAP consultants might have worked on such functionalities, I posted this question here.
