Shipping Date field

Hello guys,
I'm creating a report where I need to display Customer invoice details, I've been able to gather most of the fields but I'm having issues retrieving shipping information.
I know that VTTP (Shipment Item) and VTTK (Shipment Header) have the shipping information, but the fields in VTTK don't give a clear answer on what is the shipping date (at least in my eyes).
I've looked at VTTK fields DPTBG (Planned date for start of shipment) and DATBG (Current date for start of shipment), but I really don't know which field should I use to represent the Shipping date in my Report.
What SAP table and field would contain the correct shipping date?
Thanks in advance!
Carlos

Dear Carlos:
The right table is field is VTTK
VTTK-DATBG
Current date for start of shipment
VTTK-DATEN
Actual Date for End of Shipment
Thiese fields is the date when the shipment start and finish ocurrs.

  • Shipping data within BAPI_PO_CHANGE

    Hi all.
I'm using BAPI_PO_CHANGE within BADI ME_PURCHDOC_POSTED in order to change shipping data (field PLIFZ only).
Since I couldn't do it within the BADI implemantation I'm trying to di it by using the above BAPI.
    The table's name is POSHIPPINGEXP.
The following are the input parameters for the BAPI:
    lv_pur_order = PO number.
    lt_shippingexp-po_item              = '00010'.
    lt_shippingexp-plnd_delry          = '10'.   "Constatnt
    lt_shippingexp-del_create_date = sy-datum.
    call function 'BAPI_PO_CHANGE'
      exporting
        purchaseorder = lv_pur_order
      tables
        return               = lt_return[]
        poshippingexp = lt_shippingexp[].
Somehow I keep getting same result: Success message with "No data was changed".
What's wrong with these parameters ? Something's missing ? maybe parameters POSHIPPING & POSHIPPINGX ?
And Is it possible to update IM_EKPV within the BADI ME_PURCHDOC_POSTED ? If yes - how ?
    I'll apriciate your help.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rebeka

    Hi,
Even if it shows a success message.
Try to capture warning messages. They give us clue of what has missed.
I think some more parameters need to be passed.

  • How to Validate Schedule Ship Date manually entered - Order Management

    Hi,
When a sales order is booked for a customer, some sales staff maually enter the Scheduled Ship Date field under Shipping tab, insead of using the calendar. And if they enter a date that is not within a valid date range, the system accepts it. How do I make the application throw an error asking them to re-enter the date.
    Thanks,
    Anitha

    Hi,
You can explore using the latest acceptable date field on the order lines for this validation. This field can be defaulted fromn the custmer master set up. For example, if the latest acceptable date for customer A is 10 days, and the request date for the customer on an order line is 1st Aug 2007, then the latest acceptable date on the order line will be calculated as 10th Aug 2007. If the user enters/updates the scheduled ship date later than 10th Aug 2007, then system will throw an error.
    Hope this helps.

  • Shipping data tab not appearing while creating intercomapny STO PO

    Hi all,
I am processing the intercompany stock transfer scenario. I have done all the necessary settings for the plant and intercompany billing, but while creating the purchase order I am unable to get the shipping tab as the system cant read the shipping data for the respective vendor. In turn I cant see the purchase order in VL10B.
    Kindly help in this.

    Hi,
    1. Please check in your vendor master  in T-code XK03
    2.  In vendor master , the plant might have defined as plant as vendor  in Tab purchasing data > Extras >additional purchasing data,
3.If plant field is not appearing there then change plant field in vendor account group field status maintenance from suppress to optional & maintain in vendor master.
    Regards,

  • Intercompany Stock Transfer order - Shipping data

We are in the process of implementing intercompany PO/STO process and we have hit a roadblock.
Taking the example of one of our sites - Plants in Ireland supply material to plants in UK. Although they are part of difefrent company codes they are treated as INTRA-COMPANY transfers so we need to use the distribution channel IN
But some plants in northern Europe (Finland/ netherlands) also supplys material to UK and they are INTER-COMPANY transfers so we have to use distribution channel IC
Issue : IN SPRO, When you define shipping points for plants, you can assign only on distribution channel for a plant but as per the example above We need two distribution channels.
Has anyone else come across any similar issue? Is there any work around or user exit that we can use for this please?
    Cheers,

SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up Stock Transport Order > Set up sTock Transport Order Between Storage Locations > Define Shipping Data for Stock Transport Orders Between Storage Locations (V_T001W_L) - here you can define different sales area / customer master for Plant / SLoc combinations.
SAP will recognize the proper sales area when you input the issue SLoc during creation of STO (issue SLoc is the last field in the line of the PO item, it appears after hitting enter key).

  • Use of Vendor and Customer in 'Define Shipping Data for Storage Location"

Under the stock transfer order configuration, there is a IMG step <b>"Define Shipping Data for Storage Location".</b>
In this at storage location level, we can assign, sales org/distribution channel, division and VENDOR and CUSTOMER to storage location.
The customer number is used a sold-to-party in outbound deliveries.
<b>But I am not able to figure out what's the use of VENDOR number we are specifying in this step.</b>
If I am assiging the VENDOR Number here to every storage location, then when I am creating cross-company code Stock transport order, which vendor code I will select the one assigned to PLANT or one Assigned to Storage location.
<b>Also I need to know what vendor account group I will use for creating this storage location vendor.</b>  I have more than one storage locations) under one plant. Soif I used account group as "0007" plant, SAP doesn't allow me to assigne one plant code to 2 vendors and in vendor master on 'additional purchasing data' screen I am not seeing storage location field, it has only 'PLANT' field.
    <b>So I need to know-
    1. Which account group to use for creating storage location vendor
    2. What's the ultimaye use of this vendor code
    3. What vendor # I will use while creating cross-company PO (one for plant or one for storage location.</b>
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Define Shipping Data
Here in this step you maintain the customer number of the receiving plant. This customer number is used in SD shipping processing to identify the goods recipient (ship-to party) if stock transfer to be carried out with an SD delivery
A goods receipt can be planned in the receiving plant.
You can enter a vendor (transport vendor) in the stock transport order
In IMG step "Define Shipping Data for Storage Location".
You can assign sales org/distribution channel, division and VENDOR and CUSTOMER to storage location through Plant only.Means this Vendor is created for entering in the STO .This vendor is created for the the Plant (Supplying Plant)so as u can create STO.

  • How to: Make Shipping Condition field required in Tx. VT01N

Hi everyone. I need to make the Shipping Condition field required in the transsaction VT01N Create Shipment.
I don't know how to do this, can somebody help me with this issue???
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Chemo,
As far i undestand, you want to calculate freigth cost using transportation.
To do this, you need to do some settings at that point to achieve that, please follow the link to configuration guide:
    http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/LETRA/SDTRA.pdf
On functional side (after configuration), you´ll need to create the shippment cost document on VI01 transaction, there you can see all the cost associated to Shipping.
After that transfer it to MM using T-code VI02, its needed.
    I Hope this help you,

I'm recently looking for the solution on some issue, when i use MIGO to post goods receipt with reference to Inbound delivery, but the inbound delivery status always did not been update by the GR.
I would like to understand more details for the below configuration, can anyone please share and advice the details purpose and pros and cons and if this "Document Flow update" is relevant to my issue where the inbound delivery status not updated by the GR?
SRPO: Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions -> Configure Global Shipping Data --> "Document Flow Update"
    Thank you very much,
    Regards,

Unfortunately I am not on ECC 6.0 and I dont see the field that you mention in my system.
There are quite a few links below, which contains some description about this field, of course provided for some issues.

I assume apart from Inbound delivery status updates, other tables like MSEG and document flow tables also gets updated with the inbound delivery number.

  • STO shipping data tab not appearing in PO hence cannot make deli.by VL10B

    Hi,
I am doing stock transfer order setting in define shipping data for plant in SPRO (stock transfer order setting ).In documentation it is mentioned that  we had to set customer number of receiving plant and also sales org/dis/channel for supplying plant.
    My queries are
    1) This customer number (for receiving plant ) should be created in which company code, sales org, dist channel as of supplying plant or receiving plant.Feel should be in supplying plant.
    2) if receiving plant is receiving material from different plants /sales org.then how these entries are maintained as we can maintain only one entry over there.
    3) In LE-shipping basic shipping functionassign shipping point data is maintained for SCloading groupplant+pr.ship point .My query is this shipping condition is maintained in which view of customer master /vendor master.
    a) In which case this will be used from customer master.
    b) in which case from vendor master.
As shipping data tab is not appearing in STO PO I am not able to make delivery by VL10B
    Thanks & Regards
    Atharva

    Hi,
Thanks for prompt and very clear reply.I have one more quey related to it.
In Customer group for intercompany customer field shipping condition is supressed so not able to see shipping condition field in customer master. In this case how shipping data will be fetched as normally based on shipping condition+plant combination shipping point is fetched.
In this case as there is no shipping condition maintained in customer master how shipping point will be derived.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Delivery creation date field in STO

    Friends,
I have created 2 STO's ...for 1st STO i can see the delivery creation date in Shipping tab......however for 2nd STO shipping tab is there but  the delivery creation date field is blank...
what could be the reason...how this gets calculated ?
    Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi,
Whenever you create a STO and save it, the delivery creation date is
determined based on the delivery date and planned delivery time.
    (Note 498143 question 2)
And if certain STOs are subjected to release strategy, the delivery
creation date is not populated for those STOs. Once the STOs are
released you will have the delivery creation date populated correctly.

  • Actual shipping date vs original/requested shipping date

    Hi Experts
We are new with SNC and want to not only measure supplier delivery performance on delivery date but also on shipping date - i.e. measure if the supplier shipped the goods on time.
Do you know how we can get a hold of these two dates (actual vs original shipping date)? Are there any table fields to obtain this info or perhaps an option to load the dates into BW info cube?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards,
    Dan Bruun

    Hi Dan,
You can get actual shipping date  and original shipping date from the table /1OM/ORDR4SDL<your client name>.(if client=800 then table will be /1OM/ORDR4SDL800).
Go to table /1OM/ORDR7MP3<your client name> enter the PO number in field ORD.NO and copy ORDID use this ORDID in table /1OM/ORDR4SDL<your client name>.
select the record with ORDID(copied from above table) and field SLDType=CONF then field TSTFRFRT will give you the original shipping date and TSTFRTOT will give you original delivery date.
select the record with ORDID(copied from above table) and field SLDType=ASNC then field TSTFRFRT will give you the actual shipping date and TSTFRTOT will give you actual  delivery date.

  • Shipping data in stock transfer order

    Hi  friends,
I try to configure stock transfer process between two plants,
Here is what I 've done
create shipping point and assign it to supplying plant
create supplying plant as affiliate vendor
create receiving plant as a affiliate customer
    set up supplying plant
when I create the PO, error message still say shipping data is missing.
Your help will be deeply appreciated.

    Hi
First check you are doing the transfer between the plants within company code or cross compnay code.
Once you completed the configuration check the following
    Customer Master for shipping condition
    Material master for Loading grp
Configuration for shipping point for Plant/Loading grp/Shipping point
The system tries to determine a shipping point for every item to be delivered.
The system uses three fields as search keys for determining the shipping point
automatically. This data is normally defined in the following master records:
•1) Shipping condition from the sold-to party (view: Shipping)
2)• Loading group in the sales-specific material data (view: Sales: General/Plant
    Data)
3)• Delivering plant - see the slide Determining Delivering Plant Automatically
    Hope it helps
    Thanks/karthik
