Shopping Cart error message in SRM 5.0
Hi All,
When I attempt to create a text description cart, I get two error message below.
Please can some recommend how these can be debugged/resolved or investigated further. I receive these messages the moment I click on 'Describe Requirement' and cannot get any further past this message before the system throws me out:
1. "Number range 01 does not exist" (I get this message even though I have already maintained these in SPRO with standard range '1000000000 -1999999999),
2. "Interface Data contains errors",
3. "Error in system; shopping cart cannot be processed further".
Any help and suggestions would be appreciated!

If yuo have set up the number ranges then please make sure that you provided appropiate number ranges in transaction types as well.
Define Transaction Types -> BUS2121 -> SHC

How to change Shopping cart error messages.
Hi,
My Client side end users are trying to create shopping carts, and if the shopping cart fails in backend side, it will display error message in status like 'Item Contain Error' or 'Backend Document not able to generate' like this.
But, by looking the shopping cart status my end user not able to understand the problem. every time then need to run t.code RZ20 and check. for them its time taking. So they want to see the detail messge in the shopping cart status it self.
Could anybody help me how to replace the message with detail message.

we should not give access to requestor all this access.
admin should aware to identify the problem and correct the data and submit it the cart etc..
if the employee role only can not even see error in processs (even his cart).
only admin can process or admin can inform the requestor instruct the requestor to create a new cart ..

I am getting an error message when attempting to purchase songs. It tells me that my cart contents have changed... to review my cart and then click Buy.
When I attempt to follow instructions.. it just repeats itself.

Minimum order value in vendor master - error message in SRM
Hello!
I am using minimum order value in ERP for some vendors and I am wondering if is it possible to get the same error message in SRM.
While creating a shopping cart in SRM if the minimum order value is not reached, the following document created is a purchasing requisition.
I would like to get the error message that the minimum order value is not reached instead of the automatic creation of a purchase requisition.
Is it possible?

KarinHi Karin, if you need to show an error message during Shopping Cart creation you willl need to implement badi BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI, and maybe create an RFC Function Module to check in ECC ir the minimum order value was reached or not and show the error message.
In order to control the following document you will need to implement badi BBP_TARGET_OBJTYPE.
Find bellow a sample BBP_TARGET_OBJTYPE - Code Approach.

Best practice followed on shopping cart error management

application monitor via WEB.
Shopping cart Error log:-
Shopping cart :- backend application errors
Shopping cart :- Not transfered to backend
sc xxxx follow on docuemnt(s) not transfered.
Shopping cart :- Spooler commuication errors
Shopping cart :- Local errors
Really SC xxx has created a follow on docuemnts . why still srm system shows and it misleads others. sc xxxx follow on docuemnt(s) not transfered.
Why once the error SC resolved and follow on docuemnts created , automaticlly error log deletes right.. why it is not happening some time. Should we manualy delete these errors?
What is the best practice you guys followed and clear these error?

seems we two guys are the only ones with webmonitor problems
but my situation is different than yours - the webmonitor tells me real errors. I am only investigating to get the system going automatically to transfer shopping carts later on, when SM12 locks in backend are off - like I state in:

Shopping Cart approval process in SRM using Black Berry
Hi,
I am very new to SRM. Here the user wants the whole approval/rejection process of shopping cart should be done via the Black Berry.
When a shopping cart is created in SRM then automatically a mail should appear in this mail box(outlook or lotus) as well as in the black berry mail box, so from black berry the user will accept/reject the shopping cart.
What workflow should be used? for mailing to outlook as well as in the blackberry whether we should implement any BAdI and also for integrating SRM & black berry whether we require any plug-in or configuration to be done..

Use
Users can log on to the Enterprise Buyer system using a WAP-enabled cellular phone or any other WAP-enabled front end. Integration

One particular user is Unable to assign supplier in shopping cart for services in SRM 7.0 Shopping Cart. There is no difference in the roles assigned to him. He is able to assign supplier for materials but not services. Any suggestions?

From where he is buying the Services - free text or catalog or service masters.
Do you have other users having same problem?
Have you built a custom role in your landscape. Assign SAP All to his role temporarily and see if that happens again. If so, activate the Trace on his id and ask him to order a service SC to find out where he is missing the authorizations....

Shopping Cart with Service Item (SRM 7.02) - not created successfully
Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to create a Shopping Cart with Service Item (SRM 7.02) from PR Data coming from ECC via standard Proxy (PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest_In). But we are not able to create the SC with Service Items, though we are successfully able to create SC for Material Items successfully.
Please suggest, what can be the additional parameters to be passed in order to create a SC with Service Items in SRM 7.02.

Thanks for your response, but we have standlone scenario( No ECC), we have the Service Hierarchy, Category and Product all setup for Service, yet the system is not creating the SC with Service Item via PR Data Coming in to SRM System.
Also, we tried the same directly from SRM system using describe what you need, and their as well the SC goes with Service category but when SC details are shown up it shows as Outline Item, where again we need to add subline using service category. Ideally i suppose it should take the Service Category which we added at the time of filling details in Describe what you need.
Please suggest, where in my main concern was in standalone SRM system if we have material PR data, then apart from the Category to be used Service is their any other parameter to be passed in, to create SC with Service Item.

Difference between flexible upload & Direct upload is that direct upload does not have Update Rules, direct upload will have PSA as usual & you can do testing in PSA.
second part when you load master data - if error occurs all the records for that request no will be status error so activation will not have any impact on it i.e. no new records from failed load will be available.

We did upgrade from EBP 3.0 to SRM 5.5. After the upgrade I am trying to create a shopping cart, but the system throws the below error message:
No Logical System for FI is maintained. Inform system admin.
Enter the company code
No Logical System for FI is maintained. Inform system admin.(2nd time)
Error in account assignment for item1
I run the report bbp_check_consistency, there is no error.
Pls advice!

Shopping cart error--Tax code could not be determined
We are using classic extended scenario.
When i am trying to create a shopping cart i am getting two error messages " tax code could not be determined" and Not possible to calculate tax.
have checked in the SPRO in EBP System->
Tax calculation->Determine system for tax calculation which is set to R/3.
SPRO->Tax calculation->Enter tax code -V0 -zero rate
V1-VAT 17.5
V3-Non recoverable.
SPRO->Determine tax code for country/product category->Domestic -GB -P146-V0
SPRO->Determine tax code for country/product category->International -GB -P146-V1.
I have checked the transaction FXTP in R/3-
Procedure attache to this is TAXGB.
Could you please suggest me how to eliminate the error.

I don't recommeded you to go with Hard-coding of tax codes.
We have faced similar issues with Delivery address and we have to solve it using our custom logic inside the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI and BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK BADIs.</b>

IDOC error message in SRM 3.5
Hi all,
I am using SRM 3.5(EBP 3.0)with ITS and R/3 4.7.
While executing the service "Create shopping cart",after ordering the item i.e. saving the shopping cart,the approval workflow is executed but when i login as the approver and go to the workflow entries in the approver's inbox, i get an error message stating, "error in MW-BDOC-Processing, Type BUPA_MAIN_ID".
Is this error due to some customizing setting in the middleware or somethin else?Please Help.

Deepti.It seems that plug-ins are not automatically "transferred" to LR 3.6. You have to copy the plug-in from the "Modules" folder of your previous LR version to the "Modules" folder of Lr 3.6 - or if there is no "Modules" folder yet, create one.
The "Modules" folder is in your LR-folder in Program files on your C-drive.

Shopping cart error while creation
Hello.
In PPOMA_BBP, i moved a user from an organisational unit to another one manually.
2) while creating a shopping cart with this user, i get the following errors:
i) No data found for partner '000000134', inform system admin
ii) No address found....
iii) Fill in the supplier.
I launched the transaction BP to find the cause. i found out that my partner is still related to the old organisational unit. You have the Relations button on the top right in the transaction BP which shows this.
I tried to modify the relationship in the SRM portal by Modifying partner data to the new organisational unit but i get a popup which says the user is blocked every time i try to save the modification.

Activity Category --> 06 (Deletion)
Relationship/Role Def.Category--> BUR010 (employee of)
Business Partner 1 --> your employee BP number
BP role (Business Partner 1) --> BUP003 (employee)
Business Partner 2 --> your purchase organisation BP no. (exp.)

Shopping cart error for non Valuated material,
Hi Guys,
I have an issue with shopping cart which is getting error ("Shopping Cart 0000146522 (Purch Requisition 2000039570): 06 326 Please enter document number and item together ")after approval for non-valuated materials when it has a contract number assigned along with item number in the source of supply tab.If i delete the contract number,i am able to reprocess the shopping cart.Please advice why it is failing when it has a correct contract number.

Time machine does not work right since Lion install
