Should be able to edit all fields in Vk12

Hi All gurus,
i have a problem when i go to VK12 and give a condition type and goes inside it, the system lets me change only a few fields for ex: rate, validity dates, but it does not allow me to change some other fields like GEP number and rate. I want to be able to edit these gields also, is there a way i can do it.

Provide some more details on what condition type and access sequence  u r using .
By the way with validity date change ,u actually dont need to change old record details such as material number ,Rate ,currency etc.
For e.g. in Pr00.
As We should always maintain old condition records for purpose of information tracking.
when we change validity period the new condition record can be made valid from any past date which we want. it will update on triggering carry out new pricing.
Also if u have maintained condition record deletable in v/06. condition type definition u can delete old condition records.

    I have a user who is unable to edit his time sheet in Adobe Reader XI. It worked fine in Adobe Reader 9.6. I recently upgraded his reader to version XI and he lost the ability to edit the fields. I re-imaged his machine and re-did his profile. He was able to edit his time sheet. A week later he's back to where he was. He was able to go to another machine with Adobe XI and edit his time sheet but he can't do it on his normal workstation. His time sheet shows the purple bar at the top telling him to fill out the form and that he can save data typed into the form. We're running XP SP3. How can I troubleshoot this?

    My guess would be keyboard related.  I'm guessing the field you're trying to fill has a keystroke event allowing only certain types of character.  If the keyboard is faulty OR if the keyboard's layout (English, french, numLock, capLock) have been changed, allowed character could be someplace else.
    I would first verify the presence of a particular format or a keystroke event in the format tab.  I would then test my layout by typing charaters in another application such as notepad.  Any chance the maximum character allowed would have mistaken be set to 0?
    Also, I see you mentionned:

    By Adobe, I'm guessing you mean Reader.  Is it possible the default application on this other machine is Acrobat instead?  If it is the case, the problem would probably be the way the file was created and maybe it would require to enable Extended features.......

    As Tamas suggested, field RTEXT is actually a filed in text table T508S. You would have to join table T508S in your query.

  • How can anyone add to a SharePoint list but only some can edit all fields?

    My office has a list on our SharePoint for product requests. We were trying to make it so that the "+Add Item" link was available to all who want to request a map but only specific fields such as Name or Description would be editable on their
    end. Once the item is in the system, the SharePoint admins in our office could update things like Status or Analyst. However, after talking to the individual in charge of our SharePoint permissions told us that we cannot set this basic ability to "everybody"
    and instead need to create a special group with limited permissions. Unforunately we have high-turnover between our office and other locations and see this causing a problem in the near future. Is there a work around such as creating a web app or form that
    will push the necessary data into the SharePoint list or maybe just send it via email to designated recipients in our office to process it?

    I do not see any simple solutions here.  You have various options, each with different limitations and each will require some effort to implement.  Mix and match as best meets your needs:
    Create a standard list as usual*. In the lists's Advanced settings, in the Item-Level Permissions group, select the options Read all items and Create items and edit items that were created by the user.  This approach lets users create their own items
    and edit them, and they can still view other's, but they cannot edit other's.  Note: some list templates do not provide the Item-Level Permissions group of settings.
    Create a custom permissions level: copy it from Contribute.  Remove all of the Edit and Delete list permissions.  This approach lets your users create new and view existing entries, but not delete or edit them.
    Configure Incoming Email, and email-enable the target list.  You can configure the list to accept email according to the permissions that person has with respect to the list.  Thus, for example, a person with Contribute permission level would
    be able to send email to the list but a person with Read permission level would not.
    Create the list.  This will also create default New, Edit and View forms.  Customize the New form in SharePoint Designer 2013 so as not to display the fields you do not wish the user to edit.
    Create new site fields and content types: create one content type that displays only a few of these new fields and the other that displays all of them.  Add these to the list.  Configure a custom content type as the default for the list that displays
    only a few fields.  Users will see this content type when they create a new entry.  Edit the New list form to display only this content type.  Edit the View list form to display only this content type.

  • OIM : End user should be able to edit his resource data

    When the end user logs in and requests for AD resource, he does not see the AD resource form. All the data for the form is prepopulated according to some predefined rules. What i want to do is to allow the End-user to modify his AD form data.
    How can i do the above?????

    So here are my thoughts...
    1) The only fields that should go into the resource form are those fields that you want a requester (or approver) to modify or see during a request workflow. If it is provisioning related, for example, the uSNCreated of an AD User, it should not go on the Resource Object form (let's call it the object form from here on out). Also, you can have fields on the object form that don't ever need to go on the process form (provisioning process)... and these would be request related fields, not provisioning.
    2) This is where we need to be specific about terminology.. Resource Administrators are those people that can modify the resource... typically they have access to the design console... for some reason, I don't think you mean these people, right? You mean the people who will approve the requests, right? If that is the case, you can have them just see one form or the other, and you can also give them rights to modify one form or the other. This is done at the group level through Permissions and Menu Items (a combination).
    3) Resource Object Data Flow trumps pre-populate. (I am like 99% sure on this.. I would have to test it to be sure.. I believe it is the same as Access Policies, which does trump pre-populate adapters)
    4) I have NO clue :) I would love some improvements in the forum... especially separating out the products in the IDM stack into their own forums.

  • Not able to edit Company field in Mail Config

    Hi,
    I am working on a requirement where in 2 Companies exist under Enterprise Company and each company will have it’s own Mail configuration.
    I have copied system Mail config to create new one. But the company field in Mail Config is grayed out and always defaults Enterprise Company. Is there any way to make Company field editable? Am I missing any steps?

    As per SAP Help "The Company field is used to create separate mail configurations for individual companies. If a specific company has no assigned mail configuration, the enterprise company is used. If the enterprise company has no mail configuration, the system default is used."  and "Webcast on Mail Config" , it is possible to create Company level mail configuration.

  • How can I export a small iMovie 9 project for someone else using iMovie 9 in a way that they will be able to edit all the separate clips and audio?

    I've tried simply copying the project - but of course, that no longer contains the separate clips and audio used to create the project.  Is there some export function I'm missing - or do I need to just gather up the clips and audio used in the project myself and send those?

    You need to export your project via the Share command.
    Share > Export Movie.... (or Share > Export using QuickTime).
    That will render your project (combine and set all the events, stills, audio etc).
    When completed you can then take that exported file and import it into iMovie on another computer (or back into your own) as a new Event.
    You can then start a new project, load that event file and continue editing.

    In SRM70 you cannot change shopping cart after it is ordered. Changing a shopping cart is now depends on approval level and not on user attributes. With BRF technology SRM redesigned the approval workflows and now every shopping cart needs to be completed before approval process started. So you need to define the completion event within the workflow that allows the person (ex. Purchasers, managers, etc) to change the document before it is approved.

    You may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad via your computer's iTunes and restore to your last backup or resync your content to it.

  • A question about editing ALV fields

    In my project, we need to read data from DB and display in the ALV. In the ALV output, we should be able to edit the records, and after user clicks the "Save" button in the applicaiton toolbar, the program should be able to save the changed data into DB.
    Currently, I can display the data in ALV and all fields are editable. After I change some data and click "Save", the program will go into subroutine 'F_ALV_USER_COMMAND',  but the data in the internal table GT_OUTTAB is not changed.
    I generate the ALV output by the following calling:

    Unfortunately REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY has update problem.
    REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY FM is making automatic update/change itab.
    You can change REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY FM with REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY FM.

    I have a pdf voucher for taxi drivers, Now I am supposed to put a button on pdf voucher, which on click, sends an email to the recipent(Taxi Company) and store it into local machine in some folder. And when they(Company) recieve, they should only be able to edit particular fields by using login id and pwd.

  • Rcvd message re: locked cells while trying to edit a field in my form

    I'm trying to edit a field in my form and keep receiving the following message:
    "Something unexpected happened and your request could not be completed. Please try again. Why? Some of the cells you have selected are locked. What Can You Do? Unlock the locked cells."
    I've been able to edit all of the other fields/cells in this form except for this one. How do I unlock a cell? I searched through all of the options while in the design mode for this field and can't find anything related to locking or unlocking cells.

    The issue was with the cell in the table of the view responses tab, not in the design of the form field.
