Show focus mode in inspector

I am using Aperture 3. I wonder where I can see focus mode for my photos?
I am a beginner learning to use manual focus. I compare the result between MF and AF a lot. A piece of information of focus mode shown in inspector would be very helpful to me. Thank you for advice.

How to make Focus Mode appear in Metadata

The metadata panel in Lr 5.4 shows all the camera information from my Nikon D7100 with the exception of focus mode. I know that the focus mode data is collected, because I see it when I open a photo file in Nikon View NX 2. Is there a way to get it to show up in Lightroom?

If you just want to view it (on a per photo basis), consider Jeffrey Friedl's Metadata Viewer plugin.
If you want to use in lib filters or smart collections, my ExifMeta plugin is the only one I know of.
(internet search for plugin name and author's name if you have it will reveal in short order)

Problem with showing focus points in 3.5.1 & 10.9

I cannot always display the focus points either by using Option + F or View > Show Focus Points on my MBP, late 2012.
Prior to 3.5.1 & 10.9, either one of these commands would always display or remove, the focus points.
At times I can restore the focus point display by either closing and opening Aperture or by rebooting OS X. Today, nothing restores this function.
Anyone else with this problem or hopefully know of a solution?

There is some data in Console.ap, the latest being about 45 minutes ago. With a filter set for APERTURE there are several references to :
"12/3/13 2:53:02.038 Aperture[1324]: The function `CGContextClear' is obsolete and will be removed in an upcoming update. Unfortunately, this application, or a library it uses, is using this obsolete function, and is thereby contributing to an overall degradation of system performance."
and a 13 inch screen full of generally single items. I do not know how to read / use this info.
After your message, I went to Aperture and used Option + F, View > Show Focus Points and moused over the small icon representing focal points in the upper right hand corner of the inspector with the info tab selected (just under the JPEG icon) several times but that did not generate any new data in Console.ap.
Hope this is what you were refering to.

I created a sales contract and followed by sales order, delivery billing the movement i am checking sales contract SOLD TO Party its showing editable mode in contract over view screen and i check in header partners it showing sold to party in gray mode , i maintain relevant configuration ( partner determination i mark as a SP not editable and mandatory function in sales document header and procedure KAB release order in that i assign SP sold to party with not editable and mandatory function
still its showing editable mode in sales contract
Same Config is working fine for Sales order, once subsequent document is created sold changing into gray mode
why same confg is not working for Sales contract
can any one guide me where i am wrong

I have aperture 3.1.2 running on os 10.6.8 mac book pro. Lost some features in aperature when I upgraded my camera (no longer shows focus points, does not recognize RAW files) Would like to upgrade to aperture 3.5, but do not want to loose any pictures in my extensive library. Do I have to upgrade one vesion at a time, or can I jump? I believe I also need to upgrade my os, but not sure which to do first? Any help would be appreciated...

No, you set that up yourself.
3. I have three mobile me email addresses. One for myself, one for my wife and one I use for my business. What happens to these.
You can convert them to be used in iCloud.
4. My wife and I also use mobile me to sync our calendars across an Ipad (original) and two Iphones (3Gs). Both Iphones and Ipad are still currently using IOS4, and I am reluctant to upgrade this to IOS 5 as I have heard some horror stories. If I fail to upgrade to IOS 5, will this create confusion with my Apple ID's. (There already is a lot of confusion with these- Apple appear to not have down their homework)
If you don't change the settings you have now, I'm sure it will stay working. I believe Apple is phasing out MobileMe and you'd be forced to upgrade eventually.
5. Will Icloud allow me to transfer my Icalendar across seamlessly? This is Ical 4.04 whic came with my Imac. Does this get upgraded if I update to Lion?
Yes, it will get upgraded. I have my calendar on Lion and my iPhone 5.0.1 working seamlessly at the moment. That doesn't mean you won't have problems because with new technology that can be expected. Make sure you do a back up if you're worried about losing data.

Custom Date Field not showing up in Pages Inspector

I created a custom date field in Address Book and now want to merge info from Address Book into a Pages template I created (including this new custom date field). When I go to the Inspector to add the custom date field to the template, it is not listed as a field - only Anniversary and Birthday are listed as "other" fields.
How do I get the custom date field to show up in the inspector?

The Help is unaware of the true program behaviour.
In version 3, custom AddressBook fields are not usable in Pages.
_Go to "Provide Pages Feedback" in the "Pages" menu_, describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait _at least_ for iWork'09

Show focus point doesnt work

when i put on show focus points it does not show me(( what can i do it will be work??

Definatlely have the same issue. When I import in iPhoto and go back to Aperture they're gone. If I import in Aperture, they're there.
I would think this is just some exif data that iPhoto shouldn't touch?
So much for fully sharing libraries/functionality.

Is this supposed to actually show where my focus point was on the shot(s)

The camera has a sensor. Additionally, it has an array of focus-sensors that are fixed in position relative to the main sensor. Which of these focus-sensors was used by the auto-focus system to determine the focusing distance is what is displayed by the feature under discussion.
The point I'm trying to make is that the "focus point" in the discussion refers to which exact focus-sensors in the camera were used to achieve auto-focus. In the linked blog post, the author shows an image with the selected focus-sensor super-imposed over the model's upper eyelid. IME, it is assuming too much to assume that the autofocus system used that spot on the model's face when it determined the focusing distance.
There are programs that will analyze the actual image and attempt to show what parts of the image are in sharpest focus. Aperture does not do that.
This is -- as I indicated -- tangent to the OP's question. But the way s/he worded the question made me think that s/he things there is a certain one-to-one correspondence between the focusing-sensor used and the objects depicted under that focusing-sensor when it is superimposed over the image. There is not. I found that important to know, and so I pass it along.

Show focus points not available

My pictures used to all have the option of showing the focus points in Aperture. I would click on the icon for focus points to toggle it on and off.
Starting last year the icon for the focus points is not even there under the Info tab (same camera and lenses). i just received a new camera body but same lenses.
Pictures still do not have the icon for Focus Points. Going to the menu and choosing "show focus points" does no good because the icon is not there (but the icon for jpeg/raw, metering, and wb are there). if i go to some old pictures the icon is there for the old pictures.
i re-downloaded the program, trashed the preference files, etc.
Camera- Canon 40D, Canon 7D mii. Lenses CAnon 17-55 f/2.8 and Canon 70-200 f/4, non IS.
Any help would be appreciated.

I just checked one of my photos in Aperture for you..... it is the only reason I've kept aperture to be honest! Mine still works on my raw photo which is from a 5dmiii. I'm in the process tho of moving all my photos to external hard drives and only keeping current photos on laptop due to storage issues. I'm also switching to Bridge, ACR and PSCC. But when I open projects from Aperture off of hard drive I get a message that says I need to upgrade library and opens in Aperture. I don't want to be bound to Aperture anymore. What if I don't have Aperture on next Mac? So not how do I get my photos unhostaged? Sorry about rant.... just very frustrated if I have to go through some long drawn out process to get this straightened out.

Bug in show details mode.

I have a Java portlet (Stock Portfolio) that has a small <FORM> on it so
that
the user can submit an immediate stock quote request. This works just fine
when the portlet is rendered in MODE_SHOW on the page.
But if I enter MODE_SHOW_DETAILS (which displays the same <FORM>) I
get an error when I try to use the form.
When I looked at the HTML source that was generated, the problem (I believe)
is
that Oracle Portal is generating its own <FORM> and </FORM> tags around
my entire contents (in SHOW_DETAILS mode only) -- so we end up with a
nested FORMs construct.
Is this a known problem? Can I not have a form as part
of the content in SHOW DETAILS mode?

By convention, SHOW_DETAILS is should be a 'full screen mode', and does not require the standard form container used in other modes (e.g. HELP, ABOUT). For an example of how to create a form in SHOW_DETAILS mode, see renderShowDetails() in src/oracle/portal/sample/devguide/helloworld/HelloWorldRenderer.java. In particular, the renderClearForm() method it calls renderers a form that can be used to submit data in SHOW_DETAILS mode.

,psd and .ai don't show color mode info

G5 10.4.11, Bridge 2.1.1.9
I have set up Bridge Preferences to show Color Mode when viewing thumbnails (Preferences > Additional Lines of Thumbnail Metadata > Show: Color Mode).
But, when viewing thumbnails, I can only see the color mode listed with .tiff, .jpeg and .gif files, but not .psd and .ai files. Am I missing something here?
I am looking for a useful tool that will identify all non-CMYK images, easily, as we use .ai and .psd files almost exclusively.

Ramon- the reason we had removed profiles from files that already had them:
ID CS3 sizes were abnormally large. We had a template that was 90MB, with lots of small images on the master pages. When saved as an .inx file and opened in CS2, that same file was much, much smaller (sorry, don't have the actual size). We then noticed that profiles in the .psd files increased the file size dramatically, especially for files that are very small in the first place. For example: a profile would increase the layered file size from 220k to 928k, and for the same flattened file, from 72k to 928k.
This in of itself might be OK, but the InDesign file now seems to include the profile info. When the profiles were removed from all the images, this 90MB InDesign template decreased to about 15MB.
We were told that our printer strips out the profiles anyway, so we figured we didn't need the profiles at this stage of the layout.

Here is what you should do turn the device on hold the home button and the power button until the device turn off keep holding and when the device reboots release the power button but hol the home button until it shows the iTunes logo then restore it
