Solved!
Go to Solution.

i had the same issue. just reformated my device.
somehow my device has some corrupted files and started doing this with my music files, and when i tried to play that music file, it wouldnt play, said incompatible. so then try to delete the file from the device, reboot, re-add it, and then it would just show multiple copies, etc.
only thing that fixed this for me was to hard format my device and start over from a backup.
if you decide to do this, then be sure you do a back up of all your data first.

    I am not aware of a way except for photos that allows you to select multiple files in an email. I even checked settings in the Adobe Reader app, and it does not show that ability.

  • How to show multiple messages for a single exception

    hi
    Please consider this example application created using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0
    at http://www.consideringred.com/files/oracle/2010/MultipleMessagesExceptionApp-v0.01.zip
    It has a class extending DCErrorHandlerImpl configured as ErrorHandlerClass in DataBindings.cpx .
    Running the page and entering a value starting with "err" will result in an exception being thrown and multiple messages shown.
    See the screencast at http://screencast.com/t/zOmEOzP4jmQ
    To get multiple messages for a single exception the MyDCErrorHandler class is implemented like
    public class MyDCErrorHandler
      extends DCErrorHandlerImpl
      public MyDCErrorHandler()
        super(true);
      @Override
      public void reportException(DCBindingContainer pDCBindingContainer,
        Exception pException)
        if (pException instanceof JboException)
          Throwable vCause = pException.getCause();
          if (vCause instanceof MyMultiMessageException)
            reportMyMultiMessageException(pDCBindingContainer,
              (MyMultiMessageException)vCause);
            return;
        super.reportException(pDCBindingContainer, pException);
      public void reportMyMultiMessageException(DCBindingContainer pDCBindingContainer,
        MyMultiMessageException pException)
        String vMessage = pException.getMessage();
        reportException(pDCBindingContainer, new Exception(vMessage));
        List<String> vMessages = pException.getMessages();
        for (String vOneMessage : vMessages)
          reportException(pDCBindingContainer, new Exception(vOneMessage));
    }I wonder if calling reportException() multiple times is really the way to go here?
    question:
    - (q1) What would be the preferred use of the DCErrorHandlerImpl API to show multiple messages for a single exception?
    many thanks
    Jan Vervecken

    fyi
    Looks like using MultipleMessagesExceptionApp-v0.01.zip in JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 (11.1.1.2.36.55.36) results in a different behaviour compared to when used in JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 (11.1.1.3.37.56.60)
    see http://www.consideringred.com/files/oracle/img/2010/MultipleMessages-111130versus111120.png
    When using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 each exception seems to result in two messages where there is only one message (as intended/expected) per exception when using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 .
    (Could be somehow related to the question in forum thread "multiple callbacks to DCErrorHandlerImpl".)
    But, question (q1) remains and is still about JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 .
    regards

  • Issue in reading multiple time properties file

    Use Case:
    I have a page in which i have to show some Outage Messages on page. So I have configured outage message in properties files. This message should me rendered each time when it finds that properties file in class path or it finds the values w.r.t their keys.
    So what I decide that I shall write java method and call this method on Loading the page but here what happen is that whenever that page is load each time that reader file will call , that will create memory leak .
    So, anyone help me on this. What will be the best approach for that reading multiple times properties file?
    I will be grateful for any help you can provide
    Thanks

    Hi,
    have a bean at applicationScope, somewhat like this
    import java.util.HashMap;
    public class ApplnProperties {
        private HashMap _propMap;
        public HashMap getPropMap() {
            if(_propMap == null){
                //read the properties file and populate _propMap
            return _propMap;
    }here we put condition _propMap == null so it would be called only once during application lifecycle.
    and on page you can refer the prop map like following
    #{beanName.propMap['KEY1']}Regards,

  • Issues using multiple load-config files with ant

    Hello,
    Not sure if this is the correct place...
    I am creating an ant build script to compile our flex application. I am trying to use the default flex-config by doing <load-config filename="${flex.sdkPath}/frameworks/flex-config.xml"/> and project specific config file add the datavisualization module and any other libraries we might need in the future. I am trying to do this as I don't want to modify the flex-config.xml
    The issue I keep running into is I get a compiler error saying "unable to locate specified base class 'spark.comonents.application..". if I place the custome load-config file above the adobe default flex-config it gives errors stating it the "SeriesSlide" type
    <mxmlc file="${project.sourcePath}/FBApp.mxml"
             output="${project.output.binaryPath}/${project.output.fileName}.swf"
             locale="en_US"
             static-link-runtime-shared-libraries="false"
             static-rsls="false"
             use-network="true"
             accessible="false"
             debug="true">
             <load-config filename="${flex.sdkPath}/frameworks/flex-config.xml"/>
             <load-config filename="C:/Hudson/.hudson/jobs/FB 2.0 Flex/workspace/FBApp/FB-config.xml"/>
             <source-path path-element="${flex.sdkPath}/frameworks/libs"/>
             <source-path path-element="${project.sourcePath}"/>
             <library-path dir="${flex.path}/sdks/${flex.sdkVersion}/frameworks/locale/en_US"
                includes="*"/>
             <library-path dir="${project.libraryPath}"
                includes="*"/>
             <keep-as3-metadata name="Protected"/>
          </mxmlc>
    the following is my FB-config.xml
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <flex-config>
       <runtime-shared-library-path>
    <path-element>C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4 Plug-in\sdks\4.1.0\frameworks\libs/datavisualization.swc</path-element>
    <rsl-url>http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/flex/4.1.0.16076/datavisualization_4.1.0.16076.swz</rsl-url>
    <policy-file-url>http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/crossdomain.xml</policy-file-url>
    <rsl-url>datavisualization_4.1.0.16076.swz</rsl-url>
    <policy-file-url>.</policy-file-url>
       </runtime-shared-library-path>
    </flex-config>
    It seems to be that the first "load-config" ant runs into is the only one that gets used. When looking around the internet I have multiple cases of where people say they have successfully used multiple load-config files.
    This one in particular.
    http://flashdevelop.org/community/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5629&view=previous
    If I had to guess on what was wrong I believe my FB-config.xml file is incorrect but I can't find an example of anyones custom configuration file.
    Any guidance would be apprecaited.

    I am embarrassed to say that your solution answered my question.
    I was about 10 min away from rewriting my Ant script to just use the mxmlc.exe directly instead of the mxmlc ant tag. I kept running into the -flex-config+=YourConfig.xml for the command line option but never saw the xml variant.

    http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=configuring_environment_3.html
    Does Flex have any documenation that shows all the different tags that are available like the Ant documenation?

    Thanks at ton.

    Lines like this:
    Failed to get IWbemService Ptr for \\localhost\root\Microsoft\appvirt\client
    simply means that for that particular client, that wmi namespace does not exist.  I suspect that namespace does not exist on that particular client because for the specific client, it does not have the APPv client.
    or like this: Failed to get IWbemService Ptr for \\localhost\root\vm\VirtualServer    means that for that particular client, it does not have Microsoft VirtualServer installed (which you MIGHT have on a server, maybe).
    anything like that can be easily ignored and explained.  the only reason to care about those would be if you absolutely 100% KNOW that the namespace root\vm\virtualserver does exist on that client, and it does have instances, and then you are wondering
    why it's not reporting.  then maybe you would be concerned.  Otherwise, your log file looks perfectly fine.
    So; what problem are you trying to solve?

  • Show multiple frames in a single SWFLoader

    Hello,
    I am loading a document contained in an .swf file, each page is in a single frame, to an SWFLoader. The SWFLoader shows a single frame at a time.
    I would like to show multiple frames at once and be able to manipulate them together (scaling, positioning).
    I know how to do it with a single frame easily, but is it possible with 2 or more frames?
    Thank you in advance,
    Mr Cartman.

    A SWF can only show one frame at a time.

  • "open with" menu suddenly showing multiple copies of all apps - HELP!!

    Recently, the "open with" menu that pops up when I right click a file on my desktop has started showing multiple copies of all applications, and it's getting WORSE! It started out a few weeks ago doing this with one extra copy of only one application, but now there many, many copies of all apps - different numbers of copies depending on the app.
    This is somehow related to the fact that I have an external G-Drive USB connected, which I am using as my backup drive. I copied everything onto this drive using SuperDuper. When the G-drive is connected, I get the error message below  if I pick the "wrong" copy of an app. When I eject the G-Drive, I STILL see multiple apps, but get no error message, and any one of the app copies I select will open properly.
    IMac G5, PPC, OSX 10.4.11
    Thank you for any help!

    I'm glad you found a solution, please mark your post with a green correct, so that others can see the solution as well.

  • How do I stop having iTunes show multiple copies of podcast episode on iPhone?

    When I sync my iPhone to my computer with iTunes, iTunes appears to show multiple copies of the podcast episodes on my iPhone.
    How can I correct this?  I'm running the latest copies of iTunes and I'm using Mavericks.  The iPhone is a 4S running the latest iOS.
    Thanks,

    I know this is a little bit old, but I started having this problem, and this thread was one of the ones that showed up.  I believe I figured out a little bit more, at least in my instance.
    I have a 5C, running the latest iOS, and the latest iTunes running on the latest Mavericks.
    If you're having what I'm having, you don't see multiple copies browsing the iPhone Podcasts app; you only see the multiples when you go to "on this iPhone" in iTunes, or click the device in the sidebar.   I had a similar issue; I was seeing something like a dozen copies of the same Freakonomics podcast, and often another one was getting added after I synced.
    I checked my iPhone though - and I don't think there's actually mulitple copies of the file, despite what iTunes is telling me.
    On the iPhone itself, go to "settings", and then "general", and then usage.  This screen will tell you how much storage each app on the phone is using.  If you click "Podcasts" on this list, the next screen will break down the storage used for each podcast.  I took note of the size it was reporting for podcasts that showed duplicate copies in iTunes; and then added up the file size for the number of files that *should* have been on there.   Three episodes should have been something around 80 MB, and that's exactly how much the Podcasts app said it was using.  Had I actually been storing 12 copies of the same episode, it should have been much larger.  (The numbers here are rough guesses, I don't remember what they were exactly at the time, but was exacting when checking, and the math did check out.)
    I also checked the sum total size of the podcast audio files on of my laptop, and the Podcast App reported using pretty much exactly the same storage for all audio files as if I added up a single copy of all files that *should* be there for the podcasts I expected to be on the phone.
    So while this seems like yet another screw-up behaviour of the Podcast App, at least in my case, it doesn't appear that it's something to worry a whole lot about, as the poodcasts aren't eating up space on your iPhone, at least if you're only seeing the duplicates while browsing the device in iTunes.  Still another item on the list of reasons the default Podcast app needs to be fixed, though.
    When I finally listened to the podcast in question, and it became marked for deletion (and at that point shows a "cloud" icon next to it, which I believe means the file itself is actually already gone from the device, and the "deleting" in 24 hours is just the item being removed from the list) the duplicates all disappeared from the iTunes view.

  • Flv issue DW cs4...importing shows multiple buttons, not vid

    I am in the midst of adding an .flv file approx. 20 Mbs in size to my website. When previewed in either Firefox or IE the page shows the dimensions (640x480), but shows multiple control button over the area of where the video should be. Any insight on this issue? Thanks in advance, Andy

    And to be honest this is more of a Flash problem then a Dreamweaver, HTML or CSS problem.
    Usually stuff like this is a sign that you set up your Flash movie wrong or the FLV file path is incorrect or that you're missing other linked files that the Flash movie requires (usually the AC_RunActiveContent.js).

  • Time Machine backup fills with multiple copies of files

    I bought a 500 GB external drive, which I backed up iPhoto (34 GB), iTunes (61 GB) and some other large files using Time Machine. Using 'Disk Inventory X', I can see that the Time Machine backup drive is filled with 12 separate copies of my entire iPhoto library, iTunes libraries, Windows XP and other large files. Is there any setting I can set to technique to use to make it more efficient? My 500 GB gives only three days of backup!

    Same answer as to your other post:
    Doubtful. Something else is going on.
    Most likely, that's not what you're seeing.
    What appear to be duplicate files and folders are actually "multi-links" (sort of like fancy aliases) that look like multiple copies of the same things.
    To find out what's really going on, download the Time Machine Buddy widget from: http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/status/timemachinebuddy.html. It shows the messages from your logs for one TM backup run at a time, in a small window. The somewhat-cryptic messages will show roughly how much was copied on each backup.
    Also download the TimeTracker app, from www.charlessoft.com.
    It shows most of the files actually saved by TM for each backup (excluding some hidden/system files, etc.).
    If you find the same files being saved again, even though they weren't changed, post back, and include the results from the widget for that particular backup. Then we can figure out what's really going on.

  • Finder DEVICES list shows multiple Macintosh HDs

    I've come across and interesting Finder bug where the DEVICES list shows multiple Macintosh HDs all linking to the single Macintosh HD on my MacBook:
    http://pukupi.com/files/finder_bug.png
    At the time I did have an old G4 connected in target mode and was zeroing it's Macintosh HD but this wasn't (and shouldn't be) in the DEVICES list at the time since zeroing was still in progress. Disk Utility doesn't suffer the same bug and shows a correct list of devices.
    Relaunching the Finder doesn't fix the problem.

    I've seen this error a few times.
    THE SOLUTION (believe it or not): Drag the extra drive out of the list.
    : )
