Siebel Applet edit weblayout giving error in Windows 8
Hi All,
I have installed siebel 8.1.1.10 in windows 8. When i try to edit applet weblayout it is giving below error:

This editor requires Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 to be installed
siebdev
Failed to create empty document.
OK
Please help me to resolve this.
This sounds like the Platform Services service (the "Endeca HTTP Service" that runs port 8888) isn't up and running.
From a command line, you can try
net start "Endeca HTTP Service"
To test, you can try http://localhost:8888/endeca_jspref and see if the reference app at least loads up. Then try initializing again.

I have a requirement of giving error msg and making that row or the particular field input editable by writing code in table event 01 i.e before saving any record in a z-table i have to chk some condition for a column value and if that condition fails then i have to give error msg and make that column input editable.
I have created a routine for event 01 and written the code to give error msg. But my problem is that column is not becoming input editable. Could you pls tell me how can i make that field editable?

Edit locally giving error "Operation Failed"
while edit document locally in KM trough the command "edit locally". After clicking on "edit locally"a digitalized signed applet pops up with run and cancel button.(here applet is being set instead of Active x).I clicked cancelled. windows vista system, continuously trying to download a DRM file in Adobe Digital Editions application shows "Error check activation". I have authorized the Fire Wall and still the same.
Since Re-activation as suggested by the link above is not working for you, Can you please confirm the following:
The OperatorURL is reachable. ( you can find the operatorURL from the acsm file by opening it in notepad,etc)
And Book is still available on the book-store for purchase.
(If any of first two are not available, you might have to talk to distributor for next action item to get the book. Since you will have record of purchasing the book, (in my opinion) they should provide you the new token for downloading the book)
And please confirm this that you used the same userID for downloading that you used when you first fulfilled/downloaded the book.
(If it is the case, then you have to use the correct userID)

I've installed itunes twice. It worked the first time but after I restarted my computer it kept giving me this message: Itunes was not correctly installed. Please reinstall itunes. Error 7 (Windows error 127). What's wrong?

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Now head into your Add or Remove programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click Repair.
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post (although it's for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things):

Hi!
So i think i closed the wrong service at some point a few weeks back (apple mobile device) but iTunes remained working after that for another week. I then updated iTunes and i get the same "Service ‘Apple Mobile Device’ (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." every time. If i click ignore, just so i can access iTunes with out syncing my iPod (touch 2nd gen) i then get 'iTunes was not installed correctly. Please re-install iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 193)" when it has all installed. I don't understand what the problem is anymore as I have looked at other questions on the apple website, carried out the advice and it hasn't work. Any of them.
Tings I have done:
- Wiped all iTunes and Apple data from my computer (if you search for 'iTunes' or 'Apple' nothing comes up apart from applets from system code.
- Attached iPod before iTunes install and updated drivers.
- Installed iTunes as 'Run as administrator'
- Uninstalled and re-installed the software nearly 20 times now and rebooted the computer in between everytime.
Please someone help because i really need to get music on my ipod and i enjoy the ease of use of iTunes compared to spotify or Windows Media Player.For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

Re: Can't install iTunes 12.1 on Windows 7 64-bit. I know they look a little daunting, but the process of generating the logs themselves isn't that hard to do. Extracting useful information from them is still a challenge but maybe something will leap out. If you want to post the log for the failed components for me to have a look at here or in the other thread please edit out any personal information, particularly your email address, first.

after updating waterfox 12.0 to 15.0, and i opend the app and pin it to the task bar (windows 7 64bit enterprise edition) but while launching from task bar its giving error not compatable version 15.0 min version 12.0 ,max version 12.0
Such an error is caused by some files that weren't updated successfully, so you are left with a mixture of files from different Firefox versions.<br />
There is usually some security software involved that protects .ini files against modification (update).
You will still have to do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a new copy of Firefox.

Pacman giving error after 'packman-key --init'
Well after a long time i m back on arch. and i found out that pacman has changed and using pgp signature (happy now !). and everything is smooth except one thing pacman is still giving error and asks me to import pgp for every single package when i try to install something. here is an output :
