Sign in..and then?

Hi, all.  I'm trying to make use of the client name that's signed in.  You will find the application.cfm and loginform.cfm files below.  What I can't figure out is how to use the exact user that is logged in.  The usernames are in a database, and each user has their own directory (to store their pictures in).  I don't know how to call up the user name that's logged in.  Specifically, I want the user to see only those images that exist in his folder (and are associated with them in the DB).    How do I do this?
Thank you, and thank you for putting up with a noob.

Windows 7 64 itunes 10.5.2 64 - I receive the following error message when opening iTunes - please sign in again itunes match has encountered an error. Please choose sign out and then sign in from the itunes store menu and try again.
When I try to sign out iTunes freezes and I need to shut down windows entirely to get it to open again.
Has anybody been able to resolve this issue?

After many annoying sign-in-out-iTunes-match-activation problems I found an easy solution for me. When the iTunes Cloud symbol is broken (and I should sign in again) I just deactivate my notebooks (Windows 7) Wifi (with Fn+F5 for my Thinkpad). Then I call up the Itunes store and iTunes tells my that there is no connection to the internet (most probaply this step is not necessesary). After manual re-activation of my Wifi iTunes seems to re-establish the connection and the Cloud symbol signalizes that iTunes match does work, again.
    Hope, this helps.

  • ITunes Match error: iTunes Match has encountered an error. Please choose Sign Out and then Sign In from the Store menu and try again.

I have just subscribed to iTunes Match, and get the above error message.  I have signed out and signed in several times, and still get the same message.  Can anyone help with a solution?

I have Just upgraded my mac from Itunes 11.0 to itunes 11.02, this issue occured within hours of the updated.
It seems to occur about every couple of hours for me, I can still access the apple store, but music match just dies with the message: "iTunes Match has encountered an error. Please choose Sign Out and then Sign In from the Store menu and try again."
As it takes a good ten minuites for itunes
If this is also occuring in Itunes 11, the previous Discussions are probably not relevant.
Itunes 11 has had significant changes applied, so it would be reasoble to assume this is not the same fault and Apple have some how broken Itunes again.
I might try to downgrade to itunes 11.0, as it looks like music match faults are not high on apples priorities, it looks like took them almost a year to fix this fault last time it occured.

  • TS3297 itunes match and when I try to add my main computers music library I see "iTunes Match has encountered an error. Please choose Sign Out and then Sign In from the Store menu and try again." but signing back in always results in the same

I just purchased itunes match and when I try to add my main computers music library I see "iTunes Match has encountered an error. Please choose Sign Out and then Sign In from the Store menu and try again." but signing back in always results in the same error message. Somebody has to have an answer to this.

Did you try setting itunes to run with administrator privileges?
Since I changed that I no longer have this issue

  • I am trying to convert a pdf and it asks me to sign in and then i get a network error message

i am trying to convert a pdf and it asks me to sign in and then i get a network error message

    Hi dougtimberlake,
We may need a little more information to go on to address the issue you're facing. Are you using ExportPDF to convert the PDF file--and from within Reader or directly via the ExportPDF website? It would also be very helpful to know the exact error message that you're receiving, and whether it happens with all the files that you try to convert, or just some. Please write back and provide a few specifics. In the meantime, please try the following:
Clear your browser cache (steps to do this vary by browser)
Check with your IT team to confirm if you have firewall/proxy settings that restrict the ability to upload files to the internet.
If the issue persists after the steps above, please try another web browser.  A list of supported browsers for accessing the ExportPDF service is available here: http://www.adobe.com/acom/systemreqs/
I look forward to hearing back from you.
    Best,
    Sara

why is it whenever I sign in and put in my code it asks me three times for my password and then says: "Error press continue and sign in to redeem code." I really need help because I have three fifteen dollar cards that I want to put on! I had four but then for some reason the first one worked after a long time of trying but the other ones didn't. Hi,
On Mac, opm.db is present in User's Library.
Since User's Library is hidden on Mac,follow the steps mentioned in the link below:
Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later
Once you enter User's Library browse to Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db

  • I can't log into my iTunes account. I logger out a few days ago to trouble shoot because I was trying to redeem some iTunes cards but when i pressed redeem nothing happened. Now when i press sign in and then choose existing Apple ID, nothing happens

I can't log into my iTunes account on my iPhone 5s. I logged out a few days ago to trouble shoot because I was trying to redeem some iTunes cards but when i pressed redeem nothing happened. I then tried to log back in immediately afterwards. I was unable to do so. After clicking "sign in" at the bottom of the apps main page, it brought up another menu where I clicked "Choose existing Apple ID". After pressing this the menu disappeared and nothing happened. I tried this multiple times and received the same result each time. I tried the other available option of creating a new AP ID to log in with and that one worked perfectly fine. I am clueless as to why the log in for me is either not able to load or just completely blocking me from getting back into my iTunes account on my phone. Not only can I not listen to the music I currently have, but I cannot log in to purchase the new music that I wanted to with my unused iTunes gift cards

I have the same problem too and tried alot of things like time zone , restarting or changing DNS of wifi connection to 8.8.8.8 still nothing happens .. !!

  • I have just upgraded to IOS 7 and for some reason iMessage and face time will not work. It asks me for my Apple ID username and password and when I enter then it tries to sign in and then after a few minutes comes up with cannot activate try connection ?

I have just upgraded my iPad to iOS 7 and now FaceTime and iMessage will not allow me to sign in. I enter my appl I'd and password but after a few minutes I get a message to say cannot activate try network connection then try again no matter how many times you do this it will not sign in. Any thoughts ?
    Thanks neil

try resetting your phone by turning it off and back on again. The servers may still be having a hard time keeping up, so you may just need to wait a little while and try again.

    Hello,
ever since I have match I had this error each time I reopen Itunes on my Laptop Win7 x64.
I need to logoff from the strore, log in again and reactivate Match each time I need it. Very annoying....
Has anyone had this error and found what was the root cause? I would like to have Match activated once and for all like it should be....

I'm on a MBP 10.8.5 with iTunes 11.1. Songs appear with gray iCloud icons so perhaps they are trying to upload but it's been over a day and they haven't made any further progress.

I think its something related to the iTunes/Apple passwords stored in Keychain Access.
Ive had iTunes Match since it first came out way back when (in 2011 I think?).  I had this issue up until a few months ago on two of my Macs when all of a sudden the problems disappeared.
Then yesterday I decided to go through the Keychains on one of my macs and because I am OCD i started deleted saved passwords/logins/etc that I thought I didnt use anymore.  I deleted so many logins, local items, system items, and system roots....
I have now gotten this error message three times on this mac.
I dont know which type of stored login or system item I deleted that would cause this.  But based on cause and effect Im pretty positive this narrows down where to look for a solution.
