Sign in to iCloud keeps popping up on my ipod screen and it wont let me do anything. I reset the pasword but it wont login.

Go to Settings>iCloud and at bottom screen is a Delete Account button. Tap it and the sing in with the updated account.

This seems to be a common problem with Mountain Lion. While we all have MacBooks in this forum most of us don’t run Mountain Lion. If you see that pop up you enabled icloud. Whether you want or do not want now to use it irrelevant until you actually disable activation lock.
In order to do that you have to change your apple id back to do that just long enough to sign in and back out. System will ask you to verify, don't.
Just sign in on the prompt you getting and then logout. Once done, change apple id to what you have now and verify. Then decide if you want to
use icloud (who does not want to be able to track their phone if lost or stolen).

Running Safari Version 8.0.3 (10600.3.18) on MacBook Pro with Yosemite Version 10.10.2 (14C109).
I have one spreadsheet in Numbers on iCloud.com. I do not have Numbers installed on my Mac, I just use Numbers (Beta) on the iCloud.com website. I don't need nor want Numbers installed locally on my Mac for my purposes. I made this spreadsheet when I first installed Yosemite, a couple months ago.
This morning, I edited the spreadsheet, then tapped on the margin to clear the editing tools. The spreadsheet saved. I closed it, and saw that it updated the date in Numbers on iCloud.
This evening, I restarted my Mac, restarted Safari, logged in on iClout and went to Numbers. I noted that the time was correct, but the spreadsheet name was corrupted. I tried to open it, and got a message: "You're signed into an iCloud account that doesn't have permission to open this spreadsheet."
Well, that is hogwash. I have one Apple ID and one iCloud ID. I am already signed into the iCloud.com account via Safari and the correct username is displayed.
I logged out, cleared Safari cache, quit Safari, then went back on. Same problem, spreadsheet name was corrupted and the message popped up when I tried to open it.
I have done some searching and have found some others who had a similar problem, yet no answers.
Does anyone know what is going on or how to fix?

I had the same promblem using my ipad2, I thought i was going crazy, then I noticed once when I put my user name in and checked it was right, one time it dropped the last letter of my U/N as went to hit submit so i went back put the deleted "m" back into ".com", hit enter, put in my password multiple times, tripple checked, no joy. My old emails address which I have used as my apple id for 10 years is being made redundant. I have changed the email address to a new gmail one and this is my new apple id. But my iMac has not recognised this. It keeps saying it wants the password for my old email address. I have seen some advice on these forums which suggest signing out of iCloud and then back in again. But when I start doing this it asks me if i want all the photos deleted that have not been downloaded onto the mac.
I have had an iCloud account for quite sometime and I'm afraid of losing everything in my cloud if i sign out and sign in with a new id.
Is this fear realistic?
I know I can change back to my old email, sign out and then sign in wight he new one...

This did not work for me. My old email account for iCloud still pops up on my screen every time I open my macbook. I've deleted it, reset it, every thing I can think of and it still shows up. I think six months of this is more than enough time to wait.

You log into the App store using the same Apple ID you used to set the computer up, verify that none of your apps are hidden and that they have all be accepted and then download and install the update

Settings-icloud-scroll to the bottom, select delete, if you want to keep the content select keep, otherwise it'll remove it. Then once it is done add the account information for the account you want on that phone. Your apple ID in settings-store will remain the same and each device can still purchase/use content from that account.

The sistem preferences window doesn't accept no one passwords.

You will need to sign out completely in System Preferences>iCloud (click the 'Sign Out' button) and sign back in again with the new ID.
