Signing the windows mobile 8.1 application from commandline fails with error

Hi,
I am trying to package the Windows Mobile from commandline using the following commands
a) Package the application and create an unsigned appx.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.1\\bin\x86\MakeAppx.exe"  pack /l /h sha256 /f ARM\Debug\package.map.txt /o /p "D:\apps\win\mobile\testWebView\AppPackages\testWV.appx"
b) Create the self-singed certificate *pvk and *cer
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.1\bin\x86\makecert.exe"  /n "CN=rmahajan" /r /h 0 /eku "1.3.6.1.5.5.7.3.3,1.3.6.1.4.1.311.10.3.13" /e "12/31/2016" /sv myCertRM.pvk myCertRM.cer
c) Create *pvx from *pvk
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.1\bin\x86\pvk2pfx.exe"  /pvk  myCertRM.pvk /pi "rajatm" /spc myCertRM.cer /pfx myCertRM.pfx /po "rajatm"
d) Signing the unsigned appx created in first step.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.1\bin\x86\signtool.exe" sign /fd sha256 /f "myCertRM.pfx" /p "rajatm"  "D:\apps\win\mobile\testWebView\AppPackages\testWV.appx"

SignTool Error: An unexpected internal error has occurred.
Error information: "Error: SignerSign() failed." (-2147024693/0x800700cb)
All the above commands work while the signing command fails with the above error. Could someone please tell me what i am doing wrong here?

Your Windows Phone 8.1 app will be signed when you upload it to the Windows Store.

if it's restarting directly into an error, you can try troubleshooting (might be painful) or re-install windows with boot camp

    Hi all,
Having a problem the forums and Google have been unsuccessful in helping me with. Server is Windows 2003 R2, migrating to Windows Server 2012 foundation.  Have tried the AD Migration on the new 2012 Foundation server both as a standalone server

Hi Biswajit et. al., thanks for your help thus far, it is greatly appreciated...
Unfortunately I had already disabled the NIC's on both hosts.  They currently remain disabled.  I've just tried turning off IPv6 as well and no luck.
PortQry came back fine (I think) :)

  • Upgrade to Windows 10 failed with error 80070714. Please Help!!!

Hi. I hope someone out there can help me!! I have tried numerous times to upgrade my HP Envy 15-K204NA from Windows 8.1 64-bit to Windows 10 Home, but it continues to fail with error code 80070714. I am using Bullguard Premium Protection and have Acronis True Image installed. I have disabled SQL services as suggested by other posts on the internet, but nothing seems to work. When I run the upgrade from a DVD burned from the ISO, it gets to 37% and then fails. Hope you can help. • DTM install fails with error 1935 on Windows 7

Trying to install DTM 600_b047 on a Windows 7 64-bit system.  Install fails with
Error 1935 and HRESULT= 80073712. Have tried to run via Run As Administrator.  It seems to get most of the way through before failing.  (Without Run As Admin, it fails much earlier complaining about a cab file not found.)
    Any ideas?

    Hey adairlw,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
What security software is currently installed on the computer?
Also can I get you to re-name the install shield folder which is located under C:\Program files\common files.  Once you re-name the folder, then try to install the software.
I look forward to your reply.

  • Test Pocket PC or Handheld ( windows mobile 5.0) application

Is there any tools that can be used to automate the testing of Pocket PCs or Handheld ( windows mobile 5.0) application?
Message was edited by: DHIMANT AMIN

    Dhimant Amin,
I have not done any Pocket PC testing so I am not sure how good any of the tools out there are but a few years back I did some WAP testing and the key is to have an emulator that something can drive. As I was testing WAP I was able to use e-Tester with the proxy on to gather the http requests, but depending on what your application under test does this may not be an option.
If that is the case there are a number of test suites out their for PocketPC and other devices. From what I have seen these fall into two categories: a device emulation like what i used, and some tools that actually drive the physical device connected to the machine via Bluetooth or USB. I can see good and bad points of both.I think I would use an emulator or at least stick with a particular device early on in the testing phase to focus on testing the core functionality you are developing. Then the physical device tester may be useful for compatibility testing if the product allows the same script to be played back for different devices.

I assume you are implying "biztax" application here, right?
I have contacted their program lead, with no result at all.
Past days I have been searching for a solution - reinstalls / new systems - no solution.
This issue appeared a week or two ago only.
I found http://forums.adobe.com/message/5338853 useful - but no positive results either.
    http://test.eid.belgium.be/faq/faq_nl.htm obviously didnt help either.
If anyone finds a solution to this issue, please do let me know - any help is appreciated.
Biztax tells to use the "signature", not the "authentication"  - but it is only Auth. that is showing up as option to sign (that works)
ps, did you fiddle with the Adobe Reader XI security settings and import that PKI etc as well? I hoped that would be the breaktrough. Sadly i'm still crying in my chair.
Oh, and dont forget: they claim nobody else got this issue. Maybe one or two people. (We got about 8 customers experiencing exactly the same symptoms at the same time )
    >  I noticed that when I try to open the pdf  document that is 'signed' by the government it is not showing the filename in the title bar, but only " - Adobe Reader".    every piece of info helps I guess.

  • In App Store I'm blocked on the window of a certain application, not possible to get out of it

In App Store I'm blocked on the window of a certain application, not possible to get out of it

Try closing the App Store app via the iPad's multitasking bar and see if it works ok when you re-open it :
iOS 7 : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the App Store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
iOS 6 and below : from the home screen (i.e. not with the App Store 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the App Store app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • I want to remove the COnlineBank, OnlineBank and csample applications from my application and web server.

How can I safely do this on Solaris? I've tried "iasdeploy removeapp" and "iasdeploy removemodule" with no luck. I want to clear all of this demo stuff out to make both the web and app server look more production like.
    Thanks
    Eric

    Eric,
these applications are applogics which are not controlled by the
iasdeploy tool. Unfortunately, there is no tool available to remove
these applications for you. What you can do is to manually remove all
their entries, but be careful if you do that. If you remove the wrong
keys you might break your ias installation, so be warned and make sure
you backup the whole ias registry before attempting to remove anything.

Post relates to: Treo 750 (AT&T)

For any updates for your device, 750V, you need to go to the support page for your device on the European website.
Here is the link to the Treo 750V update page. Look on your Treo and see if yours is up to date. It does not state that it is an update to Winmo6.

    Enter the following in a Google search for the update page;

Try to put a machine disjoin the domain to see if the same issue occurs.
Sometimes the Windows 8 machines cannot use metro app once join the domain, you can try this method:
1- Open "Local Group Policy Editor"
2-Navigate to "Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Network Isolation"
3- Open "Internet Proxy Servers for Metro Style Apps" and set the value to your proxy server address like 172.16.0.1:8080.
