Silverlight and Yola

My website folks are yola.com. When I told them that when I attempted to load my bible study on my congregations web page there is a notice that a plugin is needed...
Below is the embed code from the small basic website...
<object id='sbapp' data='data:application/x-silverlight-2,' type='application/x-silverlight-2' width='640' height='480'>
    <param name='source' value='http://smallbasic.com/program/ClientBin/SBWeb.xap'/>
    <param name='onError' value='onSilverlightError' />
    <param name='background' value='white' />
    <param name='minRuntimeVersion' value='3.0.40624.0' />
    <param name='autoUpgrade' value='true' />
    <param name='initParams' value='programId=JCZ354' />
</object>
it says "a plugin is needed to display this content", how do I that, the guys from yola did not know.
thank you.

Might also ask them over here.

  • Silverlight and Windows 8.1 is not working

    Hi,
    I'm trying to get horizon.tv (by UPC) in The Netherlands working, and on Windows 7 it works, but on Windows 8.1 it simply doesn't work! Very strange, because Silverlight and Windows 8 are both from Microsoft!
    I've tried starting Firefox, Chrome and IE from the desktop, but it all fails.
    I have downloaded the latest Silverlight; it installed automatic, and further all is up to date.
    What is going wrong?

    Hi,
    Sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing.
    Pease try change the Compatibility view Settings as below steps.
    1. open Desktop IE >go to "horizon.tv"
    2. select Tools > compatibility view > add site in box
    3. checked on"Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" and "Use Microsoft Compatibility Lists"
    4. restart IE
    If that doesn't help, please try installing this update
    KB2901549 which may resolve the issue, if all these no help, please try to use the
    MS "Fix-It"
    to uninstalled and reinstalled Silverlight again.

  • All my plugins keep crashing after I try to use them. The two main ones I really want working are silverlight and adobe flash player but for some reason Firefox 9.0.1 keeps crashing them. All plugins are updated

    All plugins are updated. This has only started happening recently. Plugins seems to launch for a few seconds (no more than 5) and then crash. Chances are that there is more than a problem with just Silverlight and Flash but they are the only two that I really use.

    Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:
    * [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]

  • Microsoft Silverlight and Adobe AIR

    I ran across this by being curious but I have installed on my system the Microsoft Silverlight Plugin and the Adobe AIR plugin...
    I am curious as to when and/or how these two plugins can be integrated into the Safari browser...
    I know for definite that Silverlight is not working and I am not for sure about Adobe AIR at this time.

    Well the Silverlight plugin from what my understanding of what it is..
    Is supposed to be something like flash. You can develop applications and stream them over the internet for various media types. If you go back to the Silverlight Website ( http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/ ) the beginning animation that is on the page is running using Silverlight. Currently you cannot view it with Safari. It shows as though it is installed but shows nothing in the browser, so you will have to use one of the other browsers you have. I have seen it in use inside Gadgets for the Sidebar for Microsoft Windows, several examples on the website, and some websites are starting to use it and will enable the plugin if it is installed. Microsoft Expression Studio V1 now has the capability to develop with it as well.
    Adobe AIR is pretty much the same thing, ( http://www.adobe.com/products/air/ ) Like Silverlight and Flash, it enables applications and streaming of files over the internet. A good example of it in use is the Finetune Desktop. ( http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm?event=extensionDetail&loc=en_us& extid=1282522 ) This is actually an application that uses AdobeAIR inside the program... It actually installs using AdobeAIR and runs seamlessly. I have been quite impressed by it. There are several examples of this on the main site itself.
    Both are supposed to be cross platform and browser compatible, using new technologies to offer better resource usage, a higher quality of end-user experience, as well as many improved features for Businesses.
    You will probably begin to see more and more websites using the two to build applications as the year passes. Probably even more widely used in 2009.

  • Flash crashes on all broswers, along with silverlight and solitaire

    i haven't installed anything new before this problem started, but today my flash and silverlight plugins have stopped workign.  anything with video crashes and the browser asks to stop the plugin.  oddly enough my windows 7 games have begun freezing (solitaire, spider etc).   i hvae no idea if these are related but i find it odd it happened the same time.   i've tried removing flash and silverlight and reinstalling them and also my chrome broswer but the same thing happens in firefox.    does anyone have any idea what i should do?

    Re :41. Jul 11, 2010 1:01 PM  in response to: cbjazz AND I WILL RESPOND AGAIN IN CAPITALS BECAUSE I STILL WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO INSTALL FLASH SAFELY.
    Re: Flash Player 10.1 doesn't work in Firefox, works in IE Hi cbjazz, It is FF vs 3.6.4 (I NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH IT UNTIL IT GOT UPDATED TO .6) and vs 3.6.6 that is crashing Flash Player 10.1. You have it backwards. Go to the Firefox forum and read the 1,001 search results and you'll see. If you have been on the threads as much as I have, you will see Firefox has more problems with Flash Player 10.1 than Internet Explorer. Read the threads. iI AGREE, I DID NOT KNOW WHO IS IT FAULT BUT ALL ARE UNUSABLE: IN CHROME AND IE 8, FLASH TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD, AND THAT FF CRASHES HORRIBLY WHEN USING FLASH AFTER DOWNLOADING 10.1
    Regarding Chrome, Flash Player 10.1 is embedded with that browser. IT JUST NEVER FINISHES LOADING
    Thanks for the feedback on the FF 4 beta. Took out your OS?  Good grief. ITS VISTA. WE ARE USED TO THIS AND BACK UP EVERYTHING AND REALLY GET GOOD WITH THE TECH SUPPORT IN INDIA.
    If the previous version of Flash Player is properly Uninstalled and Installed either in Firefox or Internet Explorer, there is no problem. Users fail to follow the instructions is what happens 9 times out of 10 if they have Uninstall and Install issues. FOLKS LIKE ME HAVE NOT UNINSTALLED THEIR PREVIOUS VERSIONS BECAUSE WE WERE JUST FOLLOWING THE PROMPTS OF THE MESSAGES: YOU NEED THIS NEW FLASH PLUGIN FOR THIS CONTENT.....
    The only issue that is causing problems and it is not crash related is the hardware acceleration that is turned ON by default in FP 10.1. Turning it off and updating the graphic and video drivers has solved that. MY COMPUTER IS OUT OF WARRANTY SO I AM NOT SURE IF I HAVE ACCESS TO HOW TO DO ALL THIS
    Thanks,eidnolb  THANKS, CBJAZZ

    I installed Lion and now seem to have problems with Microsoft Silverlight and other plug ins and applications.  I haven't ever used time machine to back up (my bad I know).  Is there a way to go back to snow leopard with messing up all my files and my set?

    Are you using the latest version of Silverkeeper? - v.2.0.2 is stated to be compatible with Snow Leopard.

    If it's messing things up you could try asking LaCie Support for assistance.

  • Silverlight and Flashplayer not working

    I'm having a bit of trouble with both Microsoft Silverlight and Adobe Flashplayer. Yesterday, both applications worked just fine. Today, I went to watch Netflix and it said I needed to install Silverlight. So I did, and that didn't work. Uninstalled, re-installed, rebooted several times. I've followed the advice of several others, but none have worked.
    Adobe updated it's package of applications about a week ago. I've used flashplayer since then. YouTube didn't work this morning. I un-installed and re-installed Flashplayer, but it's having the same problem as Silverlight.
    Anyone have other ideas?
    MacBook, Mavericks (OS10.9.2)

    Adobe Flash version 12.0.0.38
    Microsoft Silverlight 5.1.10411.0
    While not the latest version, I can configure works fine with Netflix on Mac OS X 10.9.2.
    If you have a newer version, and it still doesn't work then Clean My Mac may have erased something something it needs to operate by mistake.
    Removing Cleanmymac I'd have to enquire the developer how to do.
    Your best bet is simplify, by backing up and doing a restore with command-R.
    Then just add the Silverlight and update your Flash.
    And try the websites in question.
    Once you are able to run it successfully, individually restore applications and drivers, testing the said websites to ensure you haven't suddenly made yourself incompatible.
    If you find something that makes it not work, go to http://www.roaringapps.com/ and make a report of what doesn't work with the said plugin.
    Do not use antivirus, firewall, or system cache cleaning applications, unless trying to troubleshoot an issue.
    The only utility you need on a Mac that is not running Windows is a backup utility.

  • Silverlight and google chrome not working after system update

    I just did a system update and now google chrome and the silverlight plugin do not work. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both numerous times, restarted, and checked for updates again but nothing works. What's going on?

    Check compatibility with their respective vendors.

  • Silverlight no longer works in FF? Error says it's the fault of Silverlight and to reinstall. Did this 2 times and same error! Silverlight works perfectly in Opra, Chrome, Safari and IE. What gives?

    Just today this happened. Netflix all of a sudden locks up, tried to reload and get error saying it's Silverlights fault and to uninstall/reinstall. Did this and updated Silverlight 2 times. Same issue. Works fine in Safari, Chrome, IE and Opra just fine. Conclusion, FF is at fault not Silverlight. Any fixes for this?

    So it appears Silverlight is working again, sorta. It does load Netflix movies but locks up about every 5 min's, which is totally annoying, then Firefox locks up and I have to ctrl alt delete to close it. I'm really starting to wonder about Firefox. Used to be the best browser, now not so sure. =(

  • Microsoft silverlight and Adobe Acrobat 9 pro extended, installed Fine, but not working.

    I have Adobe acrobat pro extended plug in and microsoft silverlight plug in installed fine on my firefox , however it seems doesn't work . How to check them ? I knew doesn't work , because when i am using IE , i can click right mouse button, then options to "convert to pdf document" appeared. While when i used firefox it doesn't , how to check

    you can get an acrobat 9 pro trial version here, if you follow all 7 steps:  http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
    i'm not sure if your license for the extended version will work with the non-extended version but, give it a try.

  • Big ask! Is there any way to get MS Silverlight and NowTV to work with Mavericks and Safari 7?

    Now amount of frigging will allow me to run NowTV in any web-browser on Mavericks. I've tried all browsers (latest versions in every instance) without the slightest luck. Even delving into the new Plugins security feature of Safari 7 will not get Silverlight to work properly.
    Has anyone found a way to get these things to work?

    Have you seen this?

    We know that sometimes Silverlight can be a little finicky

  • Silverlight and Crystal Reports Version 11.2

    Hello
    a customer works with Crystal Reports Version 11.2. Is it possible to create a Silverlight Application (in order to set the parameters) and then call the RPT-File? Is there a link for an example?
    What I have found so far is this blog entry: http://www.global-webnet.net/blogengine/post/2009/01/06/Running-Crystal-Reports-from-Silverlight.aspx
    ... But nobody can tell me which version of Crystal Reports is needed.
    Thanks!
    Bernhard

    Hi Bernhard,
    From the looks of the Design in your link it does appear to be a newer version of CR. It may be version 10.2 or 10.5 that comes with VS 2005 and 2008 he was using. If it was then R2 should work also.
    There is a link to Contact the blogger, ask him what versions he was using.
    Unfortunately we have not done any testing with silver light so can't say if it will work. Add your request to the Idea Place link above, search first, and then vote for it if found. Program Managers do watch it closely and they will add it if enough people request it.
    Thank you
    Don
