Single virtual channel with multiple digital ports

Hi all,
I have created a program that creates a task to read continuously from 3 digital port lines from the same device (PXI-6133). I am trying to figure out how I can retrieve the data from each port line to put into a waveform graph. Currently, I am using the DAQmx Read instance with "1 Channel N Samples" but I get a waveform with all values at the same time or a waveform graph with all three lines transposed.
I am using Windows XP and LabVIEW 8.6.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately thats not quite I am looking for. I am sending the DAQmx task the 3 port lines that I want therefore as I have read it bundles them all into one channel by default. What I want to do is take that one channel and parse out the data of each of the 3 port lines to create 3 new waveforms to work with individually.
After fumbling around a little bit, I was able to sort of get what I wanted. I've attached a screen shot of that portion of the program. The red circle in the bottom right hand corner is how I want to end up. I only did it for one of the pieces of data just to try it out and the conversion to string is just for me to print out what I'm working with. Unfortunately, when I look at the waveform it seems like maybe some extra 0's are being thrown in because its not the same graph that appears from the beginning (when all 3 pieces of data are transposed on each other). Let me know what you think.

the share to a virtual machine host or cluster."
Even if it worked I wouldn't do that. Why don't you just create multiple shares?

anyone kind enough to provide a sample working configuration of multiple fxo ports (each being a pstn line) and I assuming the telco is doing hunting...
so let's say 4 lines, if line 1 is busy the call is sent by the telco on line 2 and so on...
incoming and outgoing.

Yes this is possible when you use a PXI controller. Attached is a screenshot showing a possible configuration.

Single step workflow with multiple approvers (without using a group)

Hi,
is it possible to have a single step workflow with multiple approvers without using a group? This is for a contract document.
i want to add a number of users based on particular logic. The approvers are random and do not belong to any particular group.
DO let me know if it is possible or if any of you have done that.

I believe the behavior would be, if individual users are added as approvers then the system would require each approver to approve the document. However, if you use the user group, you could set the role so that it would be either ALL or ANY.

How do I create a single PDF file with multiple pages?

Hi, I occasionally need merge several jpg images into a single pdf file with multiple pages (one Jpg per page). I have tried doing this on Preview, and by selecting all the pages I want to include in my document and trying to save to Pdf through the "Print" function, but every time it only saves the first page.
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to save multple-page pdf files without having to purchase a specific program (i to this too infrequently to justify the cost)?

This works for me...
Open first image in Preview View > Sidebar. Drag the other images into Sidebar, then select all.
From File menu > print selected images. Choose PDF > Save as PDF

Form Size issue with multiple Digital Signatures

I have created a form (liveCycle 8) with multiple digital signatures required. When each user signs the form, that section of the form is locked using collections. The form is workflow through email after each user signs it. Each time the user signs and forwards the form, the form's size becomes too large.
How can the form be optimized to compress each time an users signs the form?

After your request to post the form, I wanted to removal some company items like the Logo. Once I removed the Logo, I found the biggest issue was a Logo image size that was making the file so large. Once I reduced the image size, the signatures only added 46kb at each signature level.

Virtual Channel with RT system

I have configured many virtual channel on a RT system with the "Remote DAQ configuration" menu from MAX (I am not sure of the menu name because I am using the french version).
Now I would copy all these virtual channel on the host system as virtual channel on a remote device. Is there a way to do this automaticaly ?
If I try to create manually the virtual channel for the remote device, there is too a new virtual channel in the Remote DAQ configuration. As I want to use the same name for the remote device and for the remote DAQ configuration, I have 2 virtual channel with the same name in the remote DAQ configuration.
A solution will be to suppress all the virtual channel from the remote DAQ configuration and to recreate the virtual
channel on remote device from the "My System" folder. But in this case I will lose my work (I have more than 100 virtual channel).

Yes, I would have the same virtual channel configuration on the Windows machine as on the remote RT Engine.
With the virtual channel configuration on the Windows machine, I can use the "Test" button (from MAX) which is an easy and very quick way to verify that the channel is working.
In fact, as you mentionned in your answer, I just need to create a RDA device in the "Device and Interface" folder, and automatically all the virtual channels configured on this remote device are "imported" under the "Data Neigborhood" folder.
I didn't see this functionnality in my first test because I had created the Remote Device entry before I created the virtual channel on this device.

Issue with multiple digital signatues in form

Hello all-
I'm having an issue with a form that has multiple digital signatures. The form additionally has a listbox in which the user can select recipients to email the form to. My objective is to be able to send a form to various users by email to sign digitally. After extending the features for Reader, I inserted a standard Livecycle digital signature by clicking on one of the digital signature fields. However, after inserting the digital signature, I can't perform any other actions (email the form by selecting recipients from the listbox, clicking a different digital signature field for signature insertion, etc.) It is as if the digital signature instertion made an uneditable snapshot of the form, which I do not want to do. What can I do to rectify this process?

The desired workflow is for
1)      Firefighter 1 to complete the top portion of the Agreement
section, sign in the Firefighter 1 signature field (which locks the top
portion of the Agreement Section), then select Firefighter 2 from the
e-mail drop down list and e-mail the PDF form to Firefighter 2;
2)      Firefighter 2 opens the e-mail and the PDF attachment,
completes the second portion of the Agreement Section, sign in the
Firefighter 2 signature field (which locks the bottom portion of the
Agreement Section), select Lieutenant 1 from the e-mail drop down list
and e-mail the PDF form to Lieutenant 1;
3)      Lieutenant 1 opens the e-mail and the PDF attachment, checks
the approved box, signs the Lieutenant 1 signature field, select
Lieutenant 2 from the e-mail drop down list and e-mail the PDF form to
Lieutenant 2;
4)      Step three continues through Lieutenant 2, Battalion Chief 1
and Battalion Chief 2
5)      Battalion Chief 2 sends the fully completed form back to
Firefighter 1 who copies the completed form to Firefighter 2
Note: if any of the officers disapprove the agreement the disapproved
form is immediately sent back to Firefighter 1

Can we bind a single external table with multiple files in OWB 11g?

Hi Ann,
Can you please help me out by telling me the steps to accomplish this. Right click on the external table in project tree, from the menu choose Configure,
then in opened Configuration Properties dialog window right clock on Data Files node and choose from menu Create -
you will get new record for file - specify Data File Name property

GR Printing For Single Line Item With Multiple Account Assignment.

Hi All,
There is PO for projects (Account Assignment -P - Network) in which in a single item consist of multiple account assignment.
Noe while entering the GR I select "Collective Slip" option but when the GR is posted system automatically select option "Individual slip" and seprate line item are printed for each account assignment.
The printing program is standard SAPM07DR. The SAP version is 4.7. Can anyone tell what is ther any setting in configuration or is it problem in program or smart form

Single Nexus 5548UP- FCoE configuration with multiple server ports

Here is some background information. We have a SINGLE Nexus 5548 UP switch to which we are connecting both the storage and the UCS C240 M3 servers (with CNA). Both the storage and server has 2 ports each going to this nexus switch.
We want to implement FCoE with this solution.
Below are the steps (for server ports) that I have followed to configure the nexus. But the port not logging into the SAN (no flogi) with the config.

Fixed the issue. "switchport trunk native vlan 6" was causing the issue. Maybe the storage and Servers were not configured with proper VLAN's. I removed the native vlan and everything logged in fine.
Any how I have configured a single zone with all 3 servers pWWN's. I know single initiator zoning is the way to go.
Can you please guide me if I can move these servers in their separate zones without any outages? If it helps, all severs have 2 pWWN's. The current zoneset is active with that single zone.
