Skype calls disconnection

Dear all,
I purchased skype voip services, and trying to call pakistan from saudi arabia, but during last 4 days my all calls about 30-40 calls disconnect after 1 or one and half minutes. I am using nexus 4 android 4.4.4 and skype latest version. Also skype is not blocked in saudia arabia. Also i tried to make a call from my laptop but same issue. Is there any skype customer support number or email who can check my account and solve this issue

I have the same problem with Skype calls from Saudi Arabia to landlines. Strangely, when I call from Saudi to the U.K. or Saudi to Switzerland I get clean, uninterupted phone calls. When I call Saudi to the United States the calls are disconnected after a bit more than one minute. I suspect the local telecom is doing this to discourage Skype users. Does anyone have the same experience making Skype calls from the Kingdom?

I'm having a really annoying problem here. Skype calls disconnect my internet at random intervals. It ONLY happens when I am in a Skype CALL. I could be gaming, or just minding my own business (staring at my desktop) and it will happen. I've tried several solutions but none of them seem to work. I've disabled uPnP.
I've used a port anywhere between 1000 and 65000.
I've checked and uncheck the "Use port 80 and 443 for additional incoming connections" multiple times. It never works.
Usually what I do is disconnect my computer from the router, and then reconnect it quickly, and it sets everything back to normal. (Normal internet connection). However, if I dont do that my internet will just stay disconnected for an extended period of time. (1-5 minutes, 5 being the longest I've experienced).
I run on Windows 7.
I have Microsoft Security Essentials.
My Skype version is 6.21.0.104
Please let me know if you need anymore information to solve my problem.

That sounds like an issue with your router. Try bypassing your router to see what happens. If you router has any firmware updates available, apply them.

When im using skype and when im hosting a call my internet keeps disconnecting every few minutes. My internet is fine when not hosting a call or in a group call when someone else is hosting. this problem is occurring for 2 months now and before i was always the guy to host calls. I have tried the standard things like: Use port 80 and 443 and disable upnp. Im really annoyed.

1. Yes. Subscriptions work from anywhere worldwide provided you have a high speed internet connection.

I've been having a problem with my Lenovo Yoga 11s and skype calls. I'm able to have a solid connection to skype and send messages but whenever I call, it's inevitable that the skype call ends up crashing/lagging until the call drops. This also results in a loss of internet for my entire laptop. I've also tried this on another wireless internet connection and got the same results. Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried a clean reinstall and downgrading to older versions but it's been no help. The calls can last from 2 minutes to 28 minutes before they disconnect.
Also, I never had this issue on my previous laptop (that also connected to this same internet connection) so I'm thinking my internet must be fine. My brother can skype without a problem, it seems to be an isolated problem.

Any sounds played from media players, websites or any other source work properly when a skype call is being made.

What is the skype call triggering that enables the audio to play.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled IDT drivers, tried all sorts of configuration settings, but nothing has worked so far.
What is the problem here and how can it be fixed???

My Skype is disconnecting constantly

My Skype keeps disconnecting for short amounts of time (like maybe 30 seconds) and then reconnects. It does this constantly though. It happens at least every 5 minutes (sometimes even every 2 minutes) when it is at its worst. I have tried searching for an answer but nothing seems to be working. I reinstalled skype and it still happens. It could be my internet but while my Skype is open and i am in a call, any games, videos, webpages etc. do not lose internet connection when Skype does. Also, sometimes after disconnecting and reconnecting a few times it will force me to hang up and sometimes I will not be able to rejoin any calls until I logout then log back into skype. Please help. Thanks in advance for any help.

Skype call to mobile is connected to mobile's voic...

When I call my wife's AT&T Nokia 6350 from my Windows 7 PC, the call is connected to her voice mailbox instead of her phone's voice mail. A call to my exact same model cell phone is connected to my phone's voice mail correctly. The PC is running Skype 5.3.0.116.
This anomaly only occurs when I dial from my PC, or FREETALK using Skype. If I call her phone from our landline using FREETALK with the # prefix, to force a landline call, or if I call from our landline with FREETALK disconnected, or from my cell phone, then the call is correctly connected to her phone's voice mail.
These symptoms seem to point to some anomoly in the Skype dialing. If the Skype experts believe that this may be an AT&T problem then please provide the exact dialing sequence, as that will probably be the first information that AT&T will ask for.

Skype calls to pc drop pc's connection to internet

When in a skype call the connection between my computer and the interent will dissapear interupting the call. It does not seem to restart the router or even disconnect the computer from the router as all pther internet using devices remain fully opperational. The internet will remain unaccessable from this pc for as long as the call is attempting to reconnect OR untill I disconnect from the router and reconnect again.
As you can guess this gets frustraiting when you're trying to skype your girlfriend who's half a country away nad keep having to re-connect the call every 5 minutes at best.
The problem does not seem to be with the router as it is fine from all other devices including my android phone and several other windows laptops. It is also present on (assumingly) all networks including the D-Link router in use at home, the Virgin media Super hub I use at my uni house and on an ethernet connection I had in halls last year.
I will work on getting logs uploaded ASAP, however as it is currently late I don't really want to go ringing people to wait for the call to drop at some random point. I am also happy to provide any additional information which may be required to diagnose the issue, for starters here is the log from when I ran the network connectivity troubleshooter last time it disconnected in this way: http://pastebin.com/2zi99XyY

Skype keeps disconnecting my internet.

Hello I recently just moved house and acquired BT Infinity 2. Ever since moving house and Internet provider joining skype calls keeps disconnecting my connection. I am currently on a wireless connection and have had BT Infinity since Thursday the 13th of February. If anyone could please help me I would be really happy.

I cannot currently connect to my Hub with an ethernet cable as my computer is upstairs. I do not understand how I never had this problem when I was on a 2mb download speed connection with Sky but now I have this problem on a 20mb download speed connection with BT.
Is there anything else I can do to solve this problem, I have tried turning my hub off and on but that doesn't seem to work? Would you recommend trying the reset button to make the hub default back to factory settings? I wasnt sure whether to try this since it sounded a bit scary and I didn't want to mess things up more.
Also while I'm here, how would I go about have an ethernet cable port put in my bedroom? Could I get an electriction to do this or would I have to get a BT Engineer to come and install me one as that would be the only way I could get a wired connection from the living room downstairs where my hub is to my bedroom upstairs?

Skype call problem

I have another problem that has been reoccurring. I can accept the first skype call normally or Join a call normally. Then if I disconnect usually it'll reconnect back to call but if it doesn't then when I press the "Join" button I go into the call but its still trying to reconnect. Eventually it won't connect and I have to get someone to call me which then takes ages to accept the call. It seems as if skype is lagging. It takes probably about a good 1 min to accept the call. I press "Accept" but the music keeps running and the the button won't dissapear. Not sure what to do.

Can't make call after I upgrade to 7.2 skype.. it always says problem with playback device, what does it mean?

CME 8.6 Call Disconnect Issue

Hi All -
My company has a small CME deployment in Australia and yesterday the local network resource made some changes to the network related to other work but following their changes, a very weird problem is occuring on the system.
The site has 4 POTS lines coming in on a VIC-4FXO card and when calls come in, the IP phones ring but as soon as they try to answer the call disconnects. I was suspecting a codec negotiation issue but since the call is coming from the PSTN, I'm not real sure because it should be G.711 which the IP phones should handle fine.
my ccapi debugs show the call disconnecting with the typical 16 cause code (normal clearing). I can provide any part of the config or debug output required for some ideas.....

How can I remove "skype caller" from caller id

When I make calls from Skype I don't mind if it shows my phone number, but would prefer the customer I'm calling don't see that it's from a "skype caller" as this startles some customers I do business with. Can I have that wording removed and replace it with my name?

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your iPhone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.
