Skype Cant Connect! HELP
Hello, I Do not have and Firewall, or AV programs on my PC I Havent Done anything besides try to uninstall and re-install skype. I keep getting the error "skype cant connect" Anyone got an Idea of what i can do? Windows 7 64x Bit

Be aware that if you want to install the currently latest 7.0.0.102 version, then you should use SkypeSetup_7.0.0.102.msi file in order to extract Skype.exe and Login.cab files.
SkypeSetup_7.0.0.102.msi file can be downloaded using this link:
http://download.skype.com/msi/SkypeSetup_7.0.0.102.msi
Note that should not run the SkypeSetup_7.0.0.102.msi but save this file to a folder on your computer.
Using Lessmsi application you should extract Skype.exe and Login.cab files from this saved msi-file and then paste these 2 files to Skype installation folder.

I am currently using the newest version of skype on my mac book air and after the update I could log in just fine, although just today I tried uninstalling and even changing my password on my phone to login to my skype but the message "skype cant connect" keeps poping up!!! help!!!What exactly is the version of your currently installed Skype? Hi all
I just upgraded to skype 7.0 but i cant sign in.
I get the blue screen but when i enter my name and password skype starts 'thinking' i can see the white circle moving but after a while i get the error skype cant connect
How can i fix it?
i am running window 7 and previous versions were no problem

Thanks a lot for your support. If IE is compulsory then that explains why my skype doesnt work.
I guess including this in the system requirements will spare you guys a lot of the same questions

hi, my iphone 4s is saying im not connected to the internet, my wifi is on and ive tried switching it off and on and nothing, still cant connect. help! it was working perfectly fine earlier today.
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Go to Solution.Hi there, using Skype 7.4.0.102, Win 8.1 and IE 11. Skype worked fine when I installed it, even used it a day or two. Now when I start it, it comes up with the splash screen and the circle keeps going around. Never connects. I'm using Webroot Antivirus software.

URGENT HELP PLEASE! I CANNOT ACCESS SKYPE
Since yesterday 22 April 2014 - I am getting the same error message.
the skype help connection wizard gives 2 options:
1. contact network administration;
2. restart skype wait 2 minutes for it to reconnect automatically.
This I have done dozens of times and it doesnt happen. I am still without skype connection and have money invested in their account.
My question: is there anyone I can contact by mail, phone, at SKYPE ADMINISTRATION to solve this problem soon? I need to contact my handicapped son everyday through Skype we live in different countries, he needs my help daily.
I don´t know what else to do or who to ask for help.

So I have been getting ddosed latly so I looked up online how to prevent it and someone said they get my ip though skype. So I followed some steps to setup a proxy on skype and after I did that now when I goto sign in on skype it says "Skype can't connect"

i have problem with my wifi in 4 S, i cant connect to any wifi itried resetting network setting and reset all setting but the result was the same, its only keeps searching for wifi and cant find any, itried to use OTHER but also didnt work.please help me???
If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

i just bought an airport express. i set it up and was able to be detected by my macbook, but i still cant connect wirelessly. the same goes when i tried my iphone. please help!

Maunally restore it. In order to do this:
-Download the iOS 5.1.1 firmware from here http://www.redmondpie.com/download-5.1.1-ios-for-iphone-4s-4-3gs-ipad-ipod-touch -direct-official-links/
1. After downloading the firmware from the given link, open iTunes and click on your device.
2. Now press SHIFT on your keyboard and while pressing it click on "Restore".
3. A dialog box will appear.
4. Select the firmware you downloaded and click ok.
5. Done!!! Your iPhone will now be restored to 5.1.1 and if you had backed up your iPod before, then you can put all its settings afterwards. -

You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
I want to test 2 other things:
1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect. -

How is the router configured? What is the security mode in the router? Does any other wireless device can able to go online with the same security mode? Well, in this case try to change the wireless security and then check the connectivity status..

Cant connect iphone 4s cause unknown error (0xE8000012) HELP
Yesterday I restored my computer and now i redownloaded itunes and everthying but i cant connect and i get the unknown error 0xE8000012 when i try to connect. I got my itunes to normal by dragging my music folder onto a hard drive before and just replaced it later after installing itunes. Please help. Before it was working perfectly fine.
