SLFN - AI_SDK_STANDARD Not working Notes 1084744 and 1023598 not working
I've applied this notes and neither the action "Send to SAP" nor automatic forwarding of messages to SAP outside business hours is working, could someone provide advice on how to proceed?

Support Message creation in Satellite System should trigger ZLFN not SLFN
Hi Experts!
I guess (hope) this is a rather simple question but I just can not find the right section in SPRO.
We made a lot of customizing regarding Change Requests and Change Documents (made copies of SDCR and SDMJ). The Support Message (SLFN) has been left unchanged (except copy rules to create ZDCR instead of SDCR)
Soon it might be necessary to change SLFN regarding (adding more Partner Functions and such) so I would like to make a copy to ZLFN and have Solution Manager create ZLFN instead of SLFN when a Support Message is created in satellite system.
Could anyone please tell where to make this setting? Just can not find the right section in customizing!

The Transaction Type used in Support Messages created from SolMan is diferent from the Transaction Type used when a message is composed from Satellite Systems ?

Creation of ZLFN messages for those raised from SolMan, SLFN for SAP ?

I need your urgent help on this please -
If I copy Transaction Type SLFN and create a ZLFN, is it possible for me to do any setting by which:
- All support messages created from within SolMan (in Testing, Configuration etc>) always picks ZLFN
- All support messages created from Satellite Systems (the 'real' messages after the project goes live) uses the SLFN
The reason for this requirement is to play around with status values, subject, categories etc. for SolMan messages without disturbing the standard settings of SLFN.
Any specific help will be gratefully acknowledged and rewarded.

I have just been able to find, with a kind ABAP colleague here, that the Function Modules behind NOTIF_CREATE transaction kind of points to SLFN (though not overtly hard-coded, pretty much similar!)
I am trying to ascertain a few more things. If there is no way to open up Customizing entries behind it (I serious doubt), the only possible option would be to do include custom code into the program DSWP_NOTIF_CREATE_DETAIL at appropriate level.

Configuration guide on Solution Manager Service Desk Scenario

I have just setup a Solution Manager 3.2 system and have followed the configuration guide, SP9.pdf which directs me to use SPRO to configure it. However, after going thru the SPRO, it doesn't gives me specific steps to setup the Service Desk scenarios. I could not find any specifc steps on creating a service Desk, business partners or configuration on the satelite system. Please kindly provide me with the relevant guide. Thanks in advance.Hi Guan,
I don't know if my message is being sent too late for you, but only now I read your question..
You have to go through Customer Relationship Management configuration in order to customize Service Desk and Change Request Management the way you need. Before, I believe you must have in your hands the specification of your Organizational Structure, who will be each business partner in your organization, with the correct responsibilities, then you draw the workflow you want to implement, which is the complete landscape, have your RFC connection to SAP working in order to send support messages to them (this should be ok if you already have SolMan working, it needs the RFC connection in order to update the services..). Once you define your processes, based on the ITIL, then you can start configuring your Service Desk. Inside the IMG of the SolMan->Service Desk you have the CRM steps you need (if you have SP09 or up), and the documentation inside the IMG are really useful. If you are not used to CRM, I suggest you take a look at the CRM Documentation, because most of the things are better explained there. Actions, Conditions for Actions, Business partners, Installed Base with default business partners, Solution Database..
You may be a little bit confused reading the lots of docs that SAP delivers about SolMan Service Desk regarding using SLF1 or SLFN transaction Type. SLF1 was the old one, used by SolMan 3.1, and it has some differences from SLFN. In fact, SLF1 is more complex. It has items, SLFN does not. It uses a Service Confirmation, SLFN does not.. and so on..
If you need more information, please let me know. I have been working with Service Desk and Change Request Management for one year, in Scandinavia, maybe we can exchange tips.

we are setting up SOL MAN 4.0 SP 06, which have BBPCRM 05 SP09
I have followed the below forum, in order to implement the number range for document type SLF1 and SLFN.

As said in the forum you have to implement number range differenty for SLFN docs and SLF1(ABA msg).
So clearly number ranges internal for SLFN docs are external for SLF1 docs and it works in the opposite way round as well.
If I use the crmd_order trx to generate internally an SLFN doc it works,without any problem. But on the other hand if I try to use the menu Help - Create Support Message, I get the below error:

As well BDOC have got a strange status, the yellow triangle of incompleted, and/or in process.
Should I carry out any Bdoc set up? For instance for queues?
After doing an ST05 trace I have found out that system is trying to insert twice the same key record in table CRMD_ACTIVITY_H. The program doesn't fail the first time but at the second attempt it fails.
We have checked many Sap notes, and in one case I have found out that problem was identical to the one I 'm experiencing. So we apply note 754192.
But I still have the same problem. So what am I supposed to do?
Should I raise the BBPCRM SP?
Please advice. Any help will be rewarded.

With reference to a couple of your statements made in your posting, the SLFN and SLF1 documents are part of the overall Service Desk configuration, is there a reason that you have not progressed to the SP12 Stack? Have you gone through the IMG to activate the necessary BC Sets for enabling the Service Desk? If you have gone through all the necessary configuration, have you made any modifications or customizations to the processing of service requests to include custom actions during the execution for creation of a service desk ticket (this can include sending emails, changing SLA dates, org distribution).

I'm have a problem... in crm_dno_monitor the Subject is missing.. , when open the message it is available, but not appear in monitor.
Verified the Note 807044 - "Subject" area is missing in the activity monitor, but is obsolete. My SP is : SAPKU50009 (BBPCRM 500 level 09)

Remember subject profile consists of catalogue, codes and so on.
And it's this "codes" that is visible in the dropdown of subject field in transaction type SLFN.

i have tried:
reloading itunes
unchecking 'write'
removing lower filters in regedit
ensuring i had the correct 'gear' info in the upper filters in regedit
removing 'gear' from regedit, system32
reloading updated version of 'gear'
cleaning my registery
deleting itunes
cleaning registry again
reloading itunes

i still cannot burn cd. t i can import and play cds in itunes and i can watch dvds. itunes will just not burn to blank cds, and i have tried sever new blank cds, each is not recognized.
i do not know what else to do, i have searched the internet and whatever i saw doable i tried.
when i check the cd drive in itunes i had gotten a 4220 error, cnet advised to download a free error fixer, however, this error fixer gave me and enduser message, so that didn't work.
the diagnostic for the cd burner read that i had to put in a formatted disc with content so i did and there are the results of that were that it read the cd and that the 4220 errir code was encountered last time there was an attempt to burn.
and 'could not open cd handler 32. there is a problem with the installation of the drive in windows or the drive contains a copyprotected cd.
the above is not the case as it also popped up for me to import cd to itunes.
i tried to copy and past the entire contents here but it would not allow me to paste.
please help!I too have only recently encountered this problem. I have been able to burn disks before but it keeps making all these weird sounds. It might be a hardware problem but the fact that everything else that uses a disk works I doubt it.

I installed Firefox 19.0.2 and appears to be ok, but I don't see a Firefox button anywhere, so I cannot access any of the functions that it controls, such as bookmarks, which is why I installed it!
The ASUS Nexus 7 tablet shows up as a supported platform.
I set it as the default link browser, but quickly realized that I could not enter text into any data entry fields, so I reset the default back to Chrome, which works fine for that.
I installed Firefox because bookmarks in Chrome are very lame, but I can't use bookmarks at all in Firefox, so again Chrome wins.
Any suggestions, before I uninstall it?I am now a Democrat supporter. dccc.org does accept text input from my mobile.
The forum problem I mentioned earlier is apparently a known issue but only affecting legacy phones. -

Hi everyone,
I recently found out that my USB port, closest to my screen, is not working. Before I called Apple Care for help, I performed a PRAM and a SMC RESET, which unfortunately did not work. I called Apple Care and they help me troubleshoot simple resets such as, shutdowns and restarts. The representative I spoke with conluded that the physical hardware has an issue and must be brought to the Apple Store for a diagnosis. I called the Apple Store to at least budget the fee for getting a USB port fixed and it's about $300.00. I never dropped my macbook or had any sort tactile encounterment with hard surfaces by dropping or hitting. I don't understand how my macbook pro would be physically damaged. I then thought maybe my software was out of date (right now I am running 10.9 Mavericks) or I forgot to do the minor software updates, but I was at a lost again because my macbook is up-to-date. I searched for further help and found a way to monitor what's plugged into my usb ports. (I read in the apple forums that a girl had nothing in her usb ports, but upon looking at the System Information> Hardware> USB, that the macbook recognizes that there are drives in the ports) I looked at my ports; one is being used by wirless mouse (the port that works) and the other (the port that doesnt work) is being used by an "IR RECEIVER". Now, is the IR Receiver actually using that port and that's why my macbook cannot recognize other devices inserted into that port? Or is the IR RECEIVER suppose to be in that port and that the hardware for that port is simply damaged (which would mean I need $300.00 to get that fixed)? I know this is a lot, but someone help me?

Pinch open and close zoom (mac) not working in latest beta update
Anybody know why pinch open close for the mac track pad suddenly does not zoom in the lastest beta update?
I am typing out easy instructions for those that are new to entering values. I myself am no expert for sure. It took me awhile to figure it out and I got it to work. I was mad when the pinch to zoom didn’t work after I updated. Thank you '''cor-el''' for posting a fix.
1. Go to a new tab, type in ''about:config'' hit enter
2. Click the “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button
3. Scroll down until you see “browser.gesture.pinch.in” right click on it and hit modify
4. A drop down that says “Enter string value” appears type in ''cmd_fullZoomReduce''
5. Click ok
Find the other ones and do the same. After you have entered all four you should see them in bold and on the right under value you should see only this cmd_fullZoomReduce part.
6.Once you have it all entered just close the tab and it should work.
I didn’t have to quit Firefox for it to work, but you may.
I’m using a MacBook Pro and it worked great, Hope this helps.

Portion of the touch screen not responding
Last night I dropped my iPod by accident a couple feet onto tile. The screen is fine physically, no scratches or cracks, and the screen is still normal when I use the iPod. However, a lower portion of the touchscreen doesn't respond. It shows up, but
