I want to know how to use slg1.Currently getting error in this function module 'Unable to create log for object .I had created object and subject in slg0.

CSD 8.01(a) - Agent ACD State Log Display does not show loing time

Hello,
I have a customer that has was upgraded to CAD 8.0 and now the Agent ACD Sate Log Display does not alway show the login time for agents. We moved them to 8.01(a) for other issues but this one remains. Any ideas?

ACD Logs Display and Agent Call Display is N/A on CSD

On PGA run the postinstall.exe setup turn off/on the Rascal Replication setup, in services.msc cycle the services shared below:

How to determine SLG1 Application Log Size

Hi, Can anyone tell me how we might be able to determine the size of our SLG1 Application Logs on our BW System?
We want to be sure they are not taking up too much space. If they are we'll purge with SLG2, and if not then we will keep them around.

system does writes the application log in to the database.
SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_NONE_R3_STAT is designed to collect non ABAP Statistic Data in/for a central repository.
look service.sap.com/notes and search for SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_NONE_R3_STAT

Detail log display error

Hello,
In the R3 system (4.6C, BRCONNECT 6.20 patch level 136, TOOLS HP-UX 11.23, oracle 9.2), we have scheduled a job CleanupLogs in DB13. The program works successfully but while displaying details logs following error occures.
BR252E Function fopen() failed for '/oracle/<SID>/sapreorg/cdxzmglv.cln'
at location file_printout-1
BR253E errno 2: No such file or directory
External program terminated with exit code 5
Job creates log file cdxzmglv.cln'
in '/oracle/<SID>/sapcheck/cdxzmglv.cln' but while diplaying it is looking at location as above mentioned in error.
Through Brtools we are able to display job log successfully.
Further , other jobs sheduled in DB13 , detail log display works
correctly. The problem is only with CleanupLogs job.
We would like know why while creating and displaying logs it seeks different location.
Request for your guidence please.

Hello,
This looks like a parameter problem.
Do this:
a) Call Transaction SM51 and log on to the instance on the database server
b) Call Transaction DB03 -> Active parameters to display any parameter that points to sapreorg
c) Change it to point to saptrace, i can't recollect which one to change so use your own judgement
d) Change the same parameter in OS level also in init<SID>.ora
For reference, have a look at the following note:

Although the note doesn't point to CleanupLogs, it talks about the error that you see in your log.

You can ignore this error as long as you see that completed archiving of the logsequence
you can see ARCO and ARC1 in the log
you get this error message say ARC1 when ARCO is archivhing the log

KE28 Log displaying wrong receivers

I'm testing the execution of KE28. I created 1 FI posting for an account that flows the value to the value field VV500. It was sent to CE1XXXX with record type B, and the PA segment contains only the profit center.
I have 2 SD postings in CE1XXXX that have the same profit center. The total line items for this record F is 192.
In the reference data, I flagged "Product", and some other characteristicsin distribution level. The profit center is marked to be TRANSFERED from the original posting. And the other characteristics will be Summarized.
I marked only the value field VV500 in the variant.
When I execute in test, the log displays 3 senders, and the receivers are also from Record Type B, but I selected the reference data to read only Record Type F. When I execute KE28 without "test", the results are correct, only record TYPE F with the profit center from the sender are distributed for the Value Field I selected (192 receivers).
Resuming: The log displays incorrect receivers.
Did you face any problem like this? Does anyone know if this is a bug, and if there is a note for this problem?

How can I control the application log display format?

I am running into a problem with regard to application log display, and I don't know if we can work on the standard log profile(BAL_S_PROF) to fulfill my requirement, I would like to get you advises.
Basically, we already saved numbers of the messages for each level (Domain BALLEVEL), so at last we will get a log tree with branches hopefully. Like below:
Level 1: Check document item 01 (traffic light is Red)
   Level 2: Display success status (Traffic light is Red)
      Level 3: Display method B( Traffic light is Red)
         Level 4: Display processing status for method B( Traffic light is Red)
      Level 3: Display method C ( traffic light is Green)
         Level 4: Display processing status for method C ( traffic light is Green)
At present system determine the traffic light color of the upper level depending on the lower level status, if there is even one red light in the lower level, the upper one would be red, like in level 2. My requirement is that we need to make level 2 as GREEN, this way it is more reasonable from the business point of view because a solution has been found. I did some research for the function module 'BAL_DSP_PROFILE_DETLEVEL_GET', but obviously I haven't found a way till now, can anyone shed some light on this?

Thank You..!!! I tried appling filterFunction on the ADG and got whatever I expected but filter changes the original dataprovider behaviour. SO which I dont want to do it.
I have created a local variable and binded whatever data wanted to display on that page. Infact it works as expexted and I still have original data provider as well.
I have one more problem, I'm using creationComplete to initialize my local data provider value. It works only once while creation of state. If I navigate my screens fore and back and come back to this screen, it doesn't display the modified values as creationComplete loads only while state creation.
Is there any mothid which does the samething while vising the page every time than creation?

UCCX 10.5 - Agent Cal Log Display showing N/A

Running 10.5.1.10000-24 UCCX and CAD 10.5.1.151
Recently upgraded and since the agents running CAD show N/A when viewing Agent Call Log Display from Reports. The other three drop down options are working. I double checked that the CAD version they are running is the correct version.
Any idea's?

Bottom of Log display

If the log display 'show log' is long and I need to jump to the bottom of display rather than scrolling down, is that possible ?

There really needs to be a better command to go to the bottom of the output.
As seen above, I had to put two spaces between May and 2 for the command to work properly.

SLG1 Transfer logs stopped logging X-fer activities

Hello Experts,
We are on GTS 10.0 and have come across an issue where the transfer log using SLG1 txn has stopped logging activities for the Orders flowing from ECC.
Could this be because the log limit has exceeded and if there is a way to make it work without having to delete the historical log that has been there for last 5 months since Go-Live?
Any help is much appreciated..

Hi Prashant,
Use SLG1 to display the last logs available. In the top pane of the results screen, you can see the Log Number. Does it look as though the Number Range is exhausted? If it is, then all other logging should also have stopped at that time - did you check the logs for other objects?

I need to make a program that displays logs like SLG1 but with different selection screen.
The program that saves the Logs has information about events (HR) and I wanted to be able to search Logs by Event (OBJID + OTYPE) in my new program.
Is this possible?

Sales Order Costing Error Log Display

When I look at Sales Order costing thru VA03 or when I run the Multi-level BOM costing for sales order CK87_99 I can not display the costing error log. I can generate the log thru VA02, but we need to limit the Sales Order change transaction to the Order Management group and did not want to give change order access to the product cost group.
Any options to get the costing error log from VA03?

I cheeked OKY9 and the Update tab had the "Save Error Log" checked, but on the Misc tab the "Log Messages but do not save" on the error message field was selected. When I changed the selection to "Log and Save Message" this corrected my problem.

Log display showing XML instead of table

Had a customer re-install xMII 11.5 SR3 and copy transactions, config XML files, ref docs, etc. We don't know exactly the extent of what was/was not copied.
Now the logs (general, user, etc.) are being displayed as xMII XML instead of being transformed into the standard HTML table. BLE is working, applets work, portal navigation works, IIS is running, and the .../wwwroot/Illuminator/StyleSheets directory appears ok.
Any ideas or things to check?

Tim,
Check to make sure that for both the IIS root directory and Lighthammer directories so that the SYSTEM and IUSR_<MachineName> users have Full Control and Inheritable permissions are set. Sometimes these are lost by Windows and the application can't access various resources properly.

Log display/change/create customer master data in Web UI

Hi Gurus,
We got a requirement to capture user activity when customer information or transctions associated to customer is accessed by any user from Web UI.
Detailed requiremet is given below.
- In the Identification screen of the Web UI,any search criteria entered by the user to search for BP needs to be captured.
- when user create/change/display any BP , it should be logged
- When user view the customer overview screen , it should be captured
-When Buiness agreement/Contract account is viewed it needs to be logged
-Any associated transactions of BP are accessed needs to be captured.
Please suggest how this can be achieved.
Any kind of help would be rewarded with points.
