Smartform- ADS form conversion error

Hello,
I have to migrate a Smartform to ADS form by using the embedded function in SMartforms transaction.
After I have converted the form I got the ADS interface and ADS form.
If I see the interface I can see the old parameters (i.e. printer options) present but in grey. If I acces the form these parameters are not visible and I canu2019t use some field from them.
I run transaction SFP with the converted form . In transaction SFP you have 2 sections: form and interface
When I go to interface section of this form I have
inside FORM interface->IMPORT->
ARCHIVE_INDEX     TYPE     TOA_DARA     1     1     ***
ARCHIVE_INDEX_TAB     TYPE     TSFDARA     1     1     ***
ARCHIVE_PARAMETERS     TYPE     ARC_PARAMS     1     1     ***
CONTROL_PARAMETERS     TYPE     SSFCTRLOP     1     1     ***
MAIL_APPL_OBJ     TYPE     SWOTOBJID     1     1     ***
MAIL_RECIPIENT     TYPE     SWOTOBJID     1     1     ***
MAIL_SENDER     TYPE     SWOTOBJID     1     1     ***
OUTPUT_OPTIONS     TYPE     SSFCOMPOP     1     1     ***
USER_SETTINGS     TYPE     TDBOOL     1     1     'X'
MKPF     TYPE     MKPF     0     0
MSEG     TYPE     MSEG     0     0
BUNDLE     TYPE     CHAR5     0     0
Parameters  ARCHIVE_INDEX thru USER_SETTINGS are in grey and cannot be used
when I go to to form utility
On the left of the screen i have three folders:
ZGR002_RU (name of the form)
     Import folder
                  MKPF Header: Material Document
                  MSEG Document Segment: Material
                  BUNDLE R/2 table
     global data folder
     system field folder
As youi can see the import parameters are less than the ones present in interface section.
if i activate the form I have the following error
Form ZGR002_RU, Node X2500_HEADING     @0A\QError@
Conditions, row 1: Field OUTPUT_OPTIONS-BCS_LANGU does not exist
BCS_LANGU is a field of OUTPUT_OPTIONS structure present only in the interface section, but seems does not exist inside the form or the context.
Do you have any hint?
Thanks in advance
Fabrizio

Hi Madhu.
Of course it is. and that's the problem
My question was, how is possible the auitomatic export function of smartforms creates this folders using a structure that causes error during form compiling?
OUTPUT_OPTIONS is a mandatory structure in smartform and was exported in INTERFACE sectionin ADS. So I guessed this has a meaning.
How can I solve it? should I replicate the structure in the global definition and move the original structure in "code initialisation" section?

    Hi Daniel,
    This issue has already been identified, tracked with bug number *14683491*, and has been resolved in development. The fix will be available in our next release. In the meantime, you can still set Application Defaults using the option available in Application Builder. Navigate to Application Builder, and select the Application Builder Defaults option in the Tasks region to the right of the page, pg 4000:1500.

  • Conversion error removes entered values in the form

    I have like 10 blocks of data in my jsf page. In my 7th block my date field gives a conversion error, then some of the fields entered above 7th block are removed and some of them after 7th block.
    why this happens??

    Hi John,
    Once I click the save button in the form, it is going to disable mode in that form only. When I open another form I able to use the save button. If I open the previous form, I am able to see the save button again. When I click the save button at that time only it is going to disable mode. This is happening for all forms.
    And there is no folder like services in the given path \Hyperion\logs\services\HyS9Planning-sysout.log.
    I rebooted the server, even the problem was not fixed.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • "Conversion Error" in Service "SalesOrderERPBasicDataByElementsQueryRespon"

    Hi All,
    Iam getting "Conversion Error" while executing the Service "CustomerERPBasicDataByElementsQueryResponse_In".
    I have given the lower boundary of BuyerPartyInternalID as 1002 and upper boundary of BuyerPartyInternalID as 1004.
    It is displaying the same error for all the input parameters.
    There is a sales order available for the BuyerPartyInternalID 1002. I tried it with the Service "SalesOrderERPByIDQueryResonse_In_V3" and it is working.
    Can any one help me with this issue.
    Regards,

    Hi ,
    Can you be more specific about your question? you can mention related SM21/ST22 errors or error log form the portal.

  • Conversion error in module API6850_HDR_PROD_MAP, field API6850_HDR-WEIGHTUN

    Hi All,
    While transferring materials form ECC to GTS (Sandbox), i am receiving the above mentioned error.
    Conversion error in module API6850_HDR_PROD_MAP, field API6850_HDR-WEIGHTUNIT_ISO, value LBR.
    As per standard , In the ISO code for US pound its mentioned as LBR in both ECC and GTS
    But  within material master we generally use LB as US pound.
    Can anyone please let us know how we can solve this one?
    Regards
    Proloy

    Hello Proloy,
    UoM handling is often issue within material transfer.
    You have generally 2 options:
    1. In GTS maintain via TA CUNI your LB as is in your feeder. I would suggest to adjust GTS customizing with your ERP. Just do Utilities --> Adjustment and your RFC to feeder.
    2. Or you can map your LB to GTS LBR via user exit.
    Cheers,
    Gabriel.

  • SelectOneMenu inside h:dataTable gives conversion error

    Hi guys,
    I'm enduring quite alot of misery attempting to put selectOneMenu UI components in my h:dataTable. Due to the 30000 character restriction, I can only submit my view and backing bean and DTO and the converter (even though the total characters of my files is only 26,583? [cat * | wc -c]). Perhaps you can figure out a way I can send me all my files and you'll be able to test it much easier.
    The jist of the problem is that I get a conversion error between the selectOneMenu and the backing DTO of the <h:dataTable>. After I define a converter I get a ClassCastException.
    My BIGGEST question is "Why do I even need a converter?", the selectItem(s)/options are hardcoded label/value Strings and so is the the property of the dataTable row's backing DTO!!!
    Here's the files, any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
    P.S. I'm running JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.
    Thanks.

  • Conversion error occured

    conversion error occured while using h:selectmanyListbox tag.

    Have the exact same problem, am using Rational Application Developer 6 (WSAD 6) in combination with websphere 6. I have a datatable (server side component) which is based on a javabean collection. The javabean has an Integer attribute "id". I'm presenting the "id" as a hidden field which works fine. when I submit the form containing the table I want to bind the hidden field to a requestScope variable. But before it hits my code I already get the table:0:hidden1: Conversion error occured.
    Have tried without converter, with numberConverter and a Custom convertor (which is called and works correctly (as in it doesn't generate the Conversion error)).
    So the conversion error is generated after my own custom convertor is called. Which part of the JSF code has to convert the field after mine is done ???
    And I'm also doing this on 1 page (maybe that's something to look at....)

  • Date field - no date entered - conversion error

    Hi,
    i've a input text field with a datepattern attached in my jsp, whose requrired attribute is set to false. If i submit the page and no date is entered, JSF returns "Conversion error occured" for the date field.
    For testing purposes i made a simple JSP which contains only this date field and a reload button, which only submits the form. When the button is clicked the conversion error is displayed as described.
    What am i doing wrong here?

  • Abort Syatem Error :RSDRC/FORM DATA_GET_ODS  error in RSDRO_READ_ODS_DATA

    Hi ,
    when I execute the report/query from ODS i'm geting the follwing error and it is disconnecting from BW server.
    " SQL Error 4030.
    Abort Syatem Error :RSDRC/FORM DATA_GET_ODS  error in RSDRO_READ_ODS_DATA .
    ABORT system Error :in Program SAPLRSDRC and FORM DATA_GET_ODS "
    I have checked the ODS seting and it was enabled and active.
    please any body is having solution
    Thanks
    Ram

    I do not have problem loading data into my ODS.
    My scenario is as follows:
    1. The source field is OPTIME of type P and stores date and time
    2.  I created a Keyfigure ZOPDATE as date field of type DEC.
    3.  The aim is to take YYYYMMDD from OPTIME into the ZOPDATE InfoObject (KFG).
    4.  I Created a conversion routine to pick YYYYMMDD from OPTIME and assign it to ZOPDATE.
    5.  It worked fine and stored the data in ODS as DD.MM.YYYY.
    6.  I have a similar IO ZPUBLISH but getting its data from a date field POSTING_DATE
    7.  The problem is that ZOPDATE cannot be displayed as date in my query wheras ZPUBLISH can.
    8.  If I insert ZOPDATE in the query I get the error, and if I remove the query runs fine.
    If I store the date field as Characterestics I may not be able to use as colunm in the report, that is why I wanted to have it as KFG.
    Please someone should help out.

    Thank u,
    yes ,value in the select one list box is ties toa string .Depending on the slected string i am generating a information bean that displays and binds to the form.
    I n this form i have got a select many checkbox control that displays
    --all the roles in  table
    --and the value will have roles belonging to a selected user from the list box control
    In this process when i switch b/w the users there is a conversion error

  • Conversion error occurs in all the command button actions

    we have two h:commandButton (save and back) in a jsf form.
    If i click the save button conversion for the form fields should happen(its happening correctly).
    But if i click the back button it should directly take me to the backing bean's action method without any conversion so that i can avoid the conversion errors.
    Is there any solution or work around to achieve this.
    Thanks,

    thanks for your response. below is the exact scenario for which we are looking for a solution,
    <rich:calendar value="#{MyBean.date}" id="dat" datePattern="MM/dd/yyyy" >
    <f:validator validatorId="isValidDate" />
    </rich:calendar>
    <h:inputText value="#{MyBean.str}" id="str"> </h:inputText>
    <h:commandButton value="save" action="#{MyBean.save}"/>
    <h:commandButton value="back" action="#{MyBean.back}"/>
    but in our case, during the back action method we need the bean value(id="str") for calculation but we don't want conversion to be happened for calendar field. if we use immediate attribute for back button we will not get the bean value(id="str") in the action method. is there any alternate solution to this.I cannot think of a standard technique to handle this case, where some of the data is needed but other data should be ignored. You might try to grab the value from the request parameter map and manually assign it to the model (this work around doesn't scale however).
    Perhaps what might work is to have a valueChangeListener on the fields which will be preserved; I think they will be fired even with the immediate attribute.
    I do not think the <f:attribute> solution suggested will work as attributes are server side artifacts.

  • LONG RAW - Conversion Error

    Hi,
    We are having a d/b with oracle 7.0 having a column LONG RAW. Client Signatures are stored in the form of Tiff in this column. We are now trying to extract the same and write it in the file system of a different server.
    We are encountering a peculiar problem. For certain cases the conversion and writing part goes of smoothly, but for some cases we are getting an ORACLE error ORA-1460 conversion error while using UTL_RAW.CAST_TO_VARCHAR2 .
    This does not happen for all cases, please help us solve the same

  • Arithmetical errors or conversion errors found in routine ROUTINE_0007

    Hello All,
    I'm getting "Arithmetical errors or conversion errors found in routine ROUTINE_0007 " while loading data from R/3 (2LIS_44_POSREC)  to cube (0RT_C07)
    I'm not able to locate the routine. I;ve checked update rules, there is no routine. The error is due to Sales Quantity in BUn coming as 0.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards: Gaurave

    Hi,
    open your URules (RSU3); in the menu extras, display generated program;
    search for 0007; it could be a ROUTINE_0007 or a urule 0007 like form r0007_KEYFIGNAME.
    I don't think this will help you much but at least you'll identify which KF is raising the error.
    Sales Qty can be loaded with 0 for sure; check that your maaping in TRules and URules is correct...
    let us know,
    Olivier.

    Hi Jadeep,
    My problem resolved. I am posting the solution. OSS  Note - 910561.
    - Arithmetic Error in 2LIS_02_SCL during upload into 0PUR_00
    Symptom
    The upload of schedule-line-data (source 2LIS_02_SCL) into the ODS 'Purchase Order Item Schedule Lines (0PUR_DS03) terminates
    because of an arithmetical error which only occurs if the source field 'BWMWNG' is not filled.
    Other terms
    MM-PUR, SRM-Analytics, 2LIS-02_SCL, BWMENG, Purchasing, 0NETPRICE
    Reason and Prerequisites
    If the Field BWMENG is not filled (zero) in the source system this is not handled by the update rule for Info Object 0CPQUAOU which is mapped with the field BWMENG.
    Solution
    Implement the following coding in the update rule for InfoObject 0NETPRICE:
    IF COMM_STRUCTURE-CPQUAOU GT '0'.
       RESULT =  COMM_STRUCTURE-CPPVLC / COMM_STRUCTURE-CPQUAOU *
                 COMM_STRUCTURE-numerator / COMM_STRUCTURE-DENOMINTR.
    ELSE.
       RESULT = COMM_STRUCTURE-CPQUAOU.
    ENDIF.
    With regards
    Syed
