Smartform need to be executed on multiple cleints.

Hi all,
My sceanrio is like i have smartform and that smartform need to be executed on multiple systems.
We have different clients with different system number but server is at same IP.
for eg : Client 130
           System Id - 05
           IP - 192.168.101.102
Another Client - 140
            System Id - 09
            IP - 192.168.101.102
The smartforms is attached by output type.
Now sceanrio is when i execute the smartform in client 130 it executes successfully.
But when i tried to execute the same in client 140 then it says "no runtime object exists for form" .When i execute the smartform in client 140 then it successfully executes.
So if we have 10 more cleint then everytime we have to execute and generate function module for smartform.
Is there is some thing i am missing .

basically smartform is independent of client.
plz check the required output type is defined in otherclients also.
other wise define them in SPRO or NACE.
then it will work.

Error: Show Details cannot be executed when multiple items are selected in a report filter field or in a slicer

I have connected TABULAR Model to Excel, and in the pivot the filter is on multiple dimensions. When doing the drillthrough action it gives error - Error: Show Details cannot be executed when multiple items are selected in a report filter field or in a slicer
Is there any workaround to this error? so that drillthrough can be done even with multiple selection.

Hi Vikas,
The reason behind the error message requires the knowledge on what happens at the backend. When you perform a drill-through action, a query is sent to Analysis Services. This query is expressed in a query language called Multi-Dimensional Expression (MDX).
Since the MDX language doesnot support drill-through command against a set (collection of tuples) an error is persisted.
For now, there is no workaround as it is a limitation of the underlying language that is generating the query.
When multiple items are selected you lose the ability to drill-down on individual metrics. To resolve you must either:
1. Select a single Item.
2. Select all items.

Yes - by default all responsibilities are defined as roles in the Workflow directory. You just need to identify the role that corresponds to the responsibility (look at ORIG_SYSTEM and ORIG_SYSTEM_ID columns, IIRC) and then send the notification to the role.

I assume that you are referring to the Ethernet Switch Module in the 3845. If so it should support SPAN. Here is a SPAN configurations guide:

Urgent need of your help for multiple JTables Print from a single JPanel

I need your help to print multiple table content from JPanel
JTables are generated dynamically in a JPanel or JPanels. I need to take print as it is in JPanel

Alternatively you could write a simple class to print JTables with a series of calls to paintString( myString), and various calls to fillRect(...) tfor asthetics. It is quite simple. I currently use such a class that I wrote in under 200 lines of code that has a very professional look, and the print jobs are less than half the size of printing the JTable directly.
The idea being that it takes a JTable as a parameter ( and maybe other params to control color, style, font, etc... ). It would have one primary method, print() which actually handles the printing, It may also uses other methods to control the look of the application.
A problem I have faced with printing a JTable directly is ensuring that the botom row on each page and the top row on every page after the first one lines up correctly. After a while it was simply easier, and more customizable, to write my own print class.

I'm just wondering if I need to commit execute immediate (oracle 10g and 9i)?
I have an insert statement that I run exeute immediate in, does it commit automatically?

the problem is, that in read committed isolation level (which is the default for Oracle) a query has to see data in the state that it was in, when the query startet (committed by other sessions plus eventually local changes by the own session up to the start system change number of the query, so DML is possible but no commits).
If you try to fetch accross commits, that is: your query is still running but meanwhile you would change and commit data i.e by calling a function inside a query, you would be changing the system commit number. The query would have to keep track of which new SCNs where caused by the query and which SCNs possibly in between were not, further then the Delta would have to be calculated to see only the own changes (committed or not). That is not implemented in standard SQL databases.
Nevertheless there are workarounds:
either you are starting a transaction that is treated as if another session would do that (pragma autonomous transaction) or you access records using rowids you selected beforehand.

Smartforms need to generate one DC NO

I am developed one Delivery challan smartform.
It's working is fine, but the probelm is i am create one ZTABLE with the fields (Date, Delivery Number,Route ,DCNO and CDCNO) while i am execute the smartforms i need to update the DCNO with some number like 1234 with check the condition Delivery no is not euql to space and DC no is space then i need to generate the DC NO .
How to proceed DC NO like 1234 , 1235 1236 like that.

Need to get data from multiple database instances in a single query

I need a small favour from you guys. The prob is as follows:
I need to get name, row_id from table A from schema 1 and gbu_name, name from table B from schema 2 where a.name = b.name. I wrote the query in the following manner:
SELECT a.name, a.row_id, b.gbu_name
FROM Schema1.A as a, Schema2.B as b
Where a.name = b.name
But this query is not working and the error is like " The table does not exists".
Please update me how to avoid the error and get the right sort of result.

In your topic title, you say youre running separate instances
In your body text, you say you are under different user/schema
So tell me, do you have more than one database or not? How many entries in your TNS file?
I would say, for "multiple database instances"

for 2 days I am trying to solve this issue by trying different permutation and conbination but its not working. The table takes values from only two tables. Also I tried removing the othertable values and fetch value only from one table but still I am getting above error.

I created my own report by copying from existing stored procedure. I just changed the select, from & where clause. I am not using any java program. Just changed the stored procedure, created the xml file, saved the parameter mappings in properties file, bounced the server but when I run the report I get this error.

Need assistance searching records from multiple tables - Please Help!

Hi, I've been trying to solve this problem for several weeks now, and I have exhausted all of my knowledge and experience. I need help, and I hope someone here can give me some direction.
I am using VB 2008, and the CR that comes bundled with VS 2008 Pro. My database is a SQL Server 2005 CE v3.5 (a *.sdf file). I am connecting to the database through a dataset, and I am displaying the report in a CrystalReportViewer.
My dataset consistes of two tables:
1) tblCustomers which has a primary key "CustID", and contains only customer contact and personal information.
2) tblDateVisited which has a primary key of "VisitID", but it also has a column titled "CustID". Basically, every time a customer visits the business, details of that visit are recorded in tblDateVisited, and that record is associated with the customer by their CustID.
Here's what I'm trying to accomplish: I want to be able to display only Customer records when the customer has visited and that visit matches certain criteria. Right now, I am trying to match visits from the "tblVisitDate.PlayerType" column. If the customer has ever had a visit where they matched a particular player type, I want to see those customer records.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, though. I can search a dataset if I am only querying one table and pulling records from that table. However, whenever I try to add a second table and perform queries on that table to get records from the first table, I can't return any records.
If it helps, I am trying to use one CrystalReportViewer to display multiple reports (user choice) and here's how I'm loading the report into the viewer:

Any attempt to assist me with this will be greatly appreciated, successful or not.

No, I am connected via ADO.NET. I don't think SQL CE can connect through ODBC (or if it can, I haven't been able to figure out how, yet). So this isn't a stored procedure.
When I examine the link, I can only choose an Inner Join or a Left Outer Join. Right Outer and Full Outer are not available. Could this be a problem with the dataset I'm using?
Could you explain what you mean by display all of the records and then choose the selection criteria?

Need to create Customer to multiple sites record in one run.

we have one table called (e.g.) Prospect. To this table we can associate three different sites: one the legal
site, one admin and one for logistic. All the three sites refer to the main Prospect table via the Prospect_id
and related info are all saved into the same Site_all table (the site type is not stored directly into the site_all
table but via a use_site_all table, similarly to what happens with some standard OApps tables).
We need to create the Prospect and associated three sites via an OA Framework page (actually multiple steps).
So to visually resume:
_ Site1 ---- use:legal
Prospect - Site2 -- use:admin
- Site3 --- use:logistic
What's the best approach to achieve the creation of the records in the tables ?
a) to add three EO for the Site table (with related AO) and one big ProspectAllVO view object containing all the fields
from the three EO ?
b) to add just one EO for the site and reference it three times while defiing the ProspectAllVO ?
c) to specify a View Link (but this should be done three times and I'm not sure how to synchronize and manage
the transaction for the creation ?
d) AOB ?

I have never seen that SAP just does a part of one IDOC.

How to find out the releases for which an XPRA needs to be executed?

I am looking for some information related to XPRAs executed during the upgrades.
1. Is there a DB file present from which the XPRAs which needs to be run during the upgrade is stored?
2. From the name of the XPRA is it possible to find out which releases it is applicable for(if you cannot access the transaction XPRAin the system) ?

I need to insert data into multiple tables - how?

Using ASP, VBScript & MS SQL -
My main table has a PK with the name projectID, this field is
updated automatically in SQL. I need that ID in order to populate
the rest of the tables. How do I retrieve this ID before moving on
to the next page(s)?
