SMS alert for PM Notification/Order

Hi PM Gurus,
Is it possible to set up in SAP PM the automatic alert to technicians via SMS whenever a PM Notification or PM Order is created for their area of responsibility? I am not sure if workflow can handle this and if there is a need for a third party middleware to enable this.

we have done it this way
1)we have used smart forms SO10 for SMS subject text Like " Notification XXXXX lodged on XXXX damge XXXX" .
2)These so10 formats are called from user exits --after notification lodged etc ..
3)This so10 data is sent to sost transaction (for sending mail and sms) along with mobile number and mailD data fetched from HR server maintained for PG/Workcenter staff . . Basis team has configured system to send sms to a service provider and has also configured connection to EXCHANGE server for sending mails .

Most of the time the file prosessed in XI with high priority, so any processing error i got a mail but i need to implement the SMS alert for this, So as for quick responce. So what is the best way i can achive that.

Email and sms alerts against Quality Notifications

I need to send an e-mail and an sms alert to various people within the organisation and to the respective vendor whenever I create a Quality notification. I also need to attach a copy of the print out of the notification in Smart form alongwith the mail. Please suggest.

You can send the e-mail to all concerned via standard workflow or via using some exits at the time of saving of notification also.

Alert for Catching Particular Order

Hi All,
If any body knows how to configure Alert rule for particular Order is missed in mapping time?
We are processing around 500 orders on daily base, so I want to send a Alert to email for particular Order is missing. So that support team will easily regenerate that particular Order in later. Now we are cathing message mapping error if any order missing(values is not coming) and sending to email. It confusion for support guyz for catch the particular Order in between 500 orders.
Please let me know how to catch this?

Trigger alert for open service orders

Hi,
We are using CRM 7.0. We have a need where we wan to trigger an alert on BP confirm to say " <customer name> has <#> open service orders". This alert should only be triggered if the customer has at least one open service orders.

Hello Dan,
This process is descibed also in the RKT material for CRM 7.0, but here is a quick overview of the main steps:
Create an alert in the Alert Editor that contains the attribute Fact Base - Service Order/Ticket ID, which will show up in the alert editor as [FACTBASE$BT_CURR_OBJ_ID]. At runtime this attribute will be replaced by the ID of the actual open service ticket. Make sure that you also specify the navigation object: type/action BT116_SRVTK:B (Service Ticket:Display).
Then create a rule in the Rule Modeler using context Intent-Driven Interaction. You would have a condition like, "If current event = BP Confirmed" and an action Trigger Alert, with the ID of your alert above in the parameter.
One alert will then show up for each open service ticket/order. If there are no open tickets/orders for that customer, no alert will be triggered. Clicking on any alert will navigate to that specifc order/ticket mentioned in the alert.

You have to define Alert modeler and assign it to your webclient profile. After confirming an account alerts agents to existing documents, which the system finds in the interaction record. This alert contains a link, which agents can use to navigate directly to the existing documents.

SCOM 2012 SMS Alert Notification

Hi,
I am using SCOM 2012 and I have a requirement of SMS Alert. but the issue that I am facing here is I have a Single Virtual Box for SCOM 2012, and what ever I experienced from SCOM 2007 physical was I had to configure a Modem through the USB device
few years back..
now I have to configure the SMS notification on a Virtual Box of SCOM 2012...
any idea ? what could be done ?

I think you need to make the SMS modem work with the virtual machine first. Then, configure the notification in SCOM consol.

Different alerts for email and sms messages for a contact with custom ring tone

Hello,
I have a Curve 8530 with OS 5.0.0.395.
I have my default sound profile set up to play one type of alert sound when I receive and email message and another when I receive an SMS message (so I know the difference without looking at my phone). That works fine except for contacts that I also have a custom ring tone set up for. It seems that under the Custom Ring Tones/Alerts section of the contact there is only one entry for Messages and it applies to both email and SMS. If I have the contact's message alerts set to the alert I have for email, then their SMS messages play the same alert and I might think it's an email. Or if I have the messages alerts set to the SMS alert sound then their emails sound like SMS messages. Is there a way to have a custom ring tone set up for a contact but still allow their emails and SMS messgaes to follow the current sound profile's settings?

How to configure notification emails for reports output or alerts for all users in r12

Hi,
I need to configure notification emails. I have provided settings in OAM-> Workflow and SMTP IP address in settings and only Outbound. I am able to test for my user ID.
I want to know how to redirect emails or alerts for users like when a user runs a report he should get notification email in his outlook about the report output and details. In settings it only points for one replyto field. How do I mention all user ID's?

Alert message(Query) for a Production order?

Create a Formatted Seach with the following Query
SELECT T0.DocNum AS 'Document Number', T0.CreateDate AS 'Creation Date', T0.DueDate AS 'Due Date'
FROM [dbo].[OWOR] T0 WHERE DATEDIFF(Day,GetDate(),T0.DueDate) = 1
Then, Create an Alert from Adminis..> Alerts Management and Give a Name, Click Open Saved Query, Select the query you saved, Tick the Int. check box against the user who gets the Alert. Check Active. Select Frequency.

MD4C order report for shipping notification doesnu2019t display any component

Dear guru ,
I have created a shipping notification for a subcontract order.
If I run order report (using MD04 or MD4C) for shipping notification doesnu2019t display any component.
I have seen note 498217.
Any workaround does exist ? What do you suggest ?
I need to have a confirmation date from vendor but also to have a pegging of the requirements.
