SO Creation through RFC

Dear all,
Greetings from my side..
I'm facing little bit tricky issue, the issue is while creating the SO through Program it is working fine and the same thing if we are using through RFC it is through dump if it is more than 200 line items. it is throwing time out error.
Here i'm attaching the which FM i'm using ..
BAPI_SALESDOCU_CREATEFROMDATA1
Please suggest your valuable suggestions..

Hi,
please check profile parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time.
It is set to value 7200 on our systems (default value is 600), but maybe you need another value.
You can use report RSPARAM to do that.

Issue in DBM service order creation through RFC

hi everyone,
I am using the RFC '/DBM/ORD_RFC_CREATE' to create the service order. I have executed in test run in SE37. The Serice Order is not getting created. I am getting message in return table that 'ordertype is not in table '/DBM/C_ORDERTP'.

Check your order type is present in table /DBM/C_ORDERTP or not? if your order type is custom order type that need to be configured by functional peaple. so it will be there in table /DBM/C_ORDERTP.

PO creation through third system

Hi Friends,
We have one process wherein PO is created in thirdparty system & that is being created in SAP through RFC call. Middleware used is Biztalk.
Now we have new third party system ( BOL) which need to do same job of PO creation. I want to know how process flows while integrating third party system to SAP .What are the details I will require from tool BOL etc. Is there any standard process which I can follow to get this done.

For a PO to be created you need to have the following data
Document type,Comp code, Purch Org, Purch Grp, Material code, Qty, UOM, Net price, Additional charges if any, delivery date.
Please create a Custom Table with the above fields in your SAP system. you need to obtain the above data from your third party system through your middle ware system Biz Talk, and store the data in respective fields Please include date and time in the Custom table as fields.
Create a separate program in SAP system with Date and Time as selection fields.
The program should call PO creation BAPI and create a PO in SAP system.
You need to discuss and decide on the timings of the Interface and run the program as a Background Job to create PO in SAP system.

Please help me presently working on creation of RFC, front end using EP. Using this RFC update the 4 databse tables.
Export Parameters of RFC give one of the databse table fields.
in TABLE type database table.
what ever i am declaring table statement is correct or not.

Actual senario is : Table A contain student addres and eduction details.
Table B: contain qualification details.
in Export parameters declared A table contain Address fields.
In Table : it_output like A table.
how to get the total fields information contain export parameters into it_ouput table.
later i want to insert those fields into databe table A.

Automatic Asset creation through Project settlement

We have one issues where in AS02 AUC Asset quantity is in display mode still we can find the quantity there.
Can any body help me about the Process of Auto Asset creation through Project settlement.
I need to know how system calculate the Quantity from the Project settlement. if such type of Process exist in SAP

There is process in SAP where we can create AuC from Projects. We need to have an investement profile set up and the same needs to be used in the project. You will have the details in SAP Help documnetation for this.

File to RFC, and through RFC response i am trying to trigger the Mail adapt

Hi All,
Right now i am doing File to RFC, its working fine but now the requirement is when xi connect to ftp and picks the file need to send one success mail after the file pickup and data sent to BW system again i need to send one mail and also error alerts to inbox.
Till now i am not using BPM, can we do this without BPM pls let me know
now i am trying to achieve this in File to RFC, and through RFC response i am trying to trigger the Mail adapter.
or else i need use only BPM pls share the steps which i need to be configure.
Am i correct or pls suggest me some idea to achive this and also pls share some smaple ones in BPM .

Third party system call function module/BAPI through RFC to update Z table

We have a third party system which directly inserts a Z table in SAP through its programming, which is an auditing issue.
We want the third party system should call function module/BAPI through RFC so that the Z table gets updated.

if third party system is capable of making Remote Function call, then writing a Function module & making it remote enable is not difficult task in ABAP.
You may have to prepare specifications first to decide if third party system is going to Read, insert, update, delete records from Zee table.

Idoc Generation after Purchase Order Creation through trading contract.

Hi All,
When a Purchase Order is created via trading contract, I need to generate an Idoc and pass details of the Purchase Order created to the Partner System.
Can anyone suggest any Function module or user exit which gets called while Purchase Order creation through trading contract, so that I can fill the Idoc with necessary details of the Purchase Order and send that to the Partner System?

I do not know about Trading Contract but what all I can say it that Check if Change pointers are getting written Once the PO has been created, If "Yes" then probably you do not have to do anything for craetion of Purchanse Order. You can use RBDMIDOC Program to create IDOCs from change pointers.

Call Transaction Through RFC

Hi ,
I am trying to do a call transaction through RFC call from a Middleware which is a CPIC user (only communication Non dialog User ) .
Call transaction does gets executed without any error but it does not update any data.But when I run it through my user id it works absolutely fine .
I am not sure what is causing the issue
Security authorization?
RFC through Non Dialog user ?
Paramters missing in RFC ?
Paramatertes missing in call transaction option?
If anyone of you has faced a similiar issue then please let me know the path forward.

The problem is in Authorization? And check the mode of Process Synchoronus or asynchoronous? Both the RFC and CALL transaction should be Same /

Upload and Download file through RFC called by java

We are trying to download/upload file through rfc function called by java(JCO),In the rfc function,we use WS_DOWNLOAD,but it does not work.
Any one know about this,Please help ,thanks very much.

Hi gw,
This question looks a little confusing to me.
WS_DOWNLOAD is used to download files from SAP to the presentation server (your PC). It will not work through RFC.
BUT, also if you want to access a function module via RFC is must be RFC enabled (as Anand pointed out).
AND WS_DOWNLOAD uses a PUSH approach. It pushes a file to the PC from ABAP. So even if the two points above weren't a problem it still would not be suitable for what you are doing.
Perhaps you could explain a little what you are trying to achieve.

BDC is not working in through RFC call

I dont know your complete scenario but you if you want to use your BDC in some other program you can use statement
export your itab or wa to memory id 'ZID'.
AND THEN
IN YOUR BDC PROGRAM YOU CAN
IMPORT ITAB INTO ITAB FROM MEMORY ID 'ZID'.
Submit <your bdc program> and Return.

Quotation creation through DP81 Error related to Material maintain Inquiry

Dear All,
This is related to Quotation creation through DP81.I have maintain A DIP profile and as per my Easy Cost Planning (ECP) in Project System it is capturing in sales price in DP81.Please note that I have maintain three (3) line item in the sales Inquiry.Based on that 3 line item we have maintain three different WBS element in ECP and it is attached to corresponding material no in VA12.
Now in DP81 system showing the three line item but if we go for Quotation creation one material no is coming for the three line item with different price value.
I have also maintain these three material in DIP profile in ODP1.Please note that the first material no maintained in DIP profile that is coming not the other material no.
Please through some light as in our case there are several line item is maintained in quotation.So is it possible to make Quotation with different item and where I have to maintain these material no.

i checked the characteristic for cost element & Material for CR, MD & Str, i created sets for cost element & the material & i determined the material which i required in the quotation. I am getting an error "no expenditure item found" , can you suggest me now.

Pulling Data from r/3 to BW through RFC connection

This functionality is made with a "Remote cube".
You need to define a particular cube based on the RFC.

Problem while SO creation through BDC

The follow problem came in log file of SM35 ,while SO creation through BDC for some sales org.

Changes don't reflect using BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN through RFC adapter

Hi,
I am working on a Integration Scenario in XI. In this I am executing BAPIs through RFC adapter. I am using BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN to create WBS Elements in Project System. After creating WBS Elements when I try to define the hierarchy, the BAPI calls executes successfully but the hierarchy is not visible when viewed in the SAP WEB GUI.
I am using following parameters to define WBS hierarchy:

In normal case the WBS element 'WBS-002' should move below 'WBS-001', but when I execute BAPI with above parameters, the Hierarchy is not visible in the GUI the both WBS Elements remain at root level, even I get '000' as response with no errors.
When I run the BAPI through transaction SE37 with same parameters as above, the changes are visible in the GUI.
Can anyone please tell what am I missing here.

Hi Ajay,
I understand the problem this way, when u do something thru XI you dont see the effect (even if the the transaction is successful), whereas when it done is directly in the R/3 you can see the output.
look into the below
- check if your XI user is having necessary authorisations (you can do this by enabling the trace in ur R/3 - back end system)
- check if you are passing the input properly in the XI. (like field formats, padding characters, prefixes etc)
