So I am guessing that the reason my iPhone 5 video is not recording is the same reason on the iPhone 4 and 4s...the upper microphone is bad? Anyone else have this problem?

Basically there is just a fuzzy sound when i play back my video. This problem happened in a few of the earlier modles too so I am guessing I have to take my iPhone to the Apple Store.

I would start with taking a look at the settings to make sure that you are able to send and receive messages. If everything looks good then the next step would be to remove the accounts and add them back in. I have exactly the same issue as described above : I installed the update 5.1.1 on my iphone 3GS and since then, I can not turn it on anymore. In Itunes, I get an error 37 when I am doing a restauration and it stops.
This error has nothing to do with firewall : I tried to restore the phone on several computers, including in an Apple reseller and it did not work anywhere.
I spent several hours on phone with the hotline from Apple which arrived to the conclusion that it is a hardware issue, but the phone was working perfectly fine until I installed this update!

I found this advice in another thread (here), which you might find helpful...
Unregistering the iMac from .Mac syncing and re-registering it (replacing the computer's information with the .Mac information) resolved the issue.
The .Mac sync information was Reset (i.e. recopied in it's entirety) from the MacBook (the 'good' computer) to .Mac prior to unregistering and re-registering the iMac, so a fresh copy of the sync could be loaded from .Mac to the iMac.
I hope this helps the others who have had this problem.

Location services is NOT running all the time, only when the arrow appears in the message bar. It is not a major consumer of power unless you are actively using it (such as using the Maps app), and even then it is a minor factor in battery life; loading maps is the big user of power in the Maps app. And turning off Location Services defeats Find my iPhone.
There are only 2 heavy battery consumers, cellular data and interactive games. Everything else (bluetooth, location services, WiFi, etc) are tiny in comparison to these and will not make a significant difference in battery life.

I have the iPhone 4s on Verizon and never had this problem until I recently updated to iOS 7.0.2. I have the same case on it for several months. Yesterday, when I was talking on the phone with someone, it appeared as though I lost the call. But when I looked down at my phone, it was trying to Facetime with someone in my contact list. Sounds like the backup you're using to restore from is corrupt. Restoring from a corrupt backup will continue to restore the problem. I'd suggest you start fresh and delete all of your current iPhone backups(there should only be one). You can delete them here: iTunes>Preferences>Devices.

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

Staticky voice-over... anyone else have this problem?

I set my clock on my MBP to announce the hour at the top of every hour. My g4 Ti-book was also set up to do this, and it was a bit of a comfort during LATE NIGHT work sessions. I've set up the MBP to do this, but when it reads the hour it sounds very very bad. I can hear the voiceover voice start to talk, but then it cuts in and out rapidly (like static) and stops after less than a second. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there some odd setting (like the setting in the MIDI-utility that was causing web audio not to be heard) that might be affecting the voiceover utility? Oddly, when i have voiceover read other text, it sounds just fine. Its only the hourly time report thats messed up.

Lightroom 4, Windows 8, Dell Laptop Inspiron 17, Pentium Processor 1.8 Ghz It would do it occasionally on the old computer but on this computer it's several times a day. This is a brand new laptop and installed Lightroom from a disk, so no changes.

Uh, this is your first post, so you get some leeway...but, unless you provide enough info to help you troubleshoot, it's a guessing game and that isn't what the forums are all about... What LR version?What OS and version?What computer?What are the specs? Is this a new problem or have you had problems in the past?Any recent changes to your computer? Lot's of info you are not providing...
