So i recently got an IPhone 5c but before i had an IPod 5 and my ipod 5 suddenly diabled its self for 23,132,726 minutes how do i reset it with itunes?
So recently i got an IPone 5c but befor I had an IPod 5 now my IPod 5 is diabled and i don't know how it is diabled its diabled for 23,132,722 how do I reset it using itunes on my computer? Please help.
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

You can reset the device through settings > general > reset > reset all settings.
You can restore the software of the device through iTunes.

My friend recently got an iPhone today. Before our conversations were with the green bubble, because I had an iPhone and she didn't. Now that she got her iPhone, she texted me and I received it as an iMessage, but when I would reply it would send as a text message. I have made sure that my iMessage setting are set up properly, and that he phone I marked as an I phone in the contact but it's not working
When other users with the same 5s as I have, text her, it's iMessage as well and they're not having the same issue. I don't know why this is happening. I've tried deleting the contact and restarting my phone but nothing works

I purchased songs from 2 different computers using itunes with the same apple id. I had 1 iPod I used for these but I just recently got an iPhone and I was wondering why it wasn't letting me put my purchased songs on my iPhone?
You can transfer iTunes content from an iTunes library on a single computer only.
Since these songs were purchased with the same iTunes account, you can download the song that is not in your iTunes library on the computer you will be syncing your iPhone with. Or you can download the song or songs direct on your iPhone.

I recently got my iPhone 5s and tried to restore it with the stuff on my old iPhone but I couldn't because the iPhone 5 didn't have the recent update, so I set it up and a new iPhone, will I be able to use iCloud to restore now or will I need to use my laptop ?
I had this problem too after i upgdatd to OS X Mavericks... only the songs on my iphone 5s that i purchased from itunes would play.
i read something about it being a syncing issue. when you plug your phone into your computer with the usb cable, the person said to switch from automatic syncing of itunes to the "manual" option. mine was already set to manual so i wasn't sure anything would work. BUT, when i plugged my phone into my computer, it started to sync all of my music on my phone again (top of itunes bar where song playing/time is listed said "now syncing 123/534 songs to x's iphone"). once that was completed, i checked the music app on my iphone and everything was back to normal!
so, i would suggest setting your music syncing settings to manual if you haven't tried that yet!

Hi..I have just recently got an iPhone and I had installed some apps already but now when I try to install and download any apps it just sits there on "waiting" and will not download.. Im able to erase it but no apps will download now. I have tried logging out of the app store but it still did the same thing. I also tried resetting it and that didn't work either. I have recently got an iPhone 4 out of no where it has decided to think that my headphones are in and they are not but does work with headphones in.
Then later on within the same day it after turning my phone on and putting it on charge it comes to the screen stating to connect to iTunes/emergency calls only/no service so I connect it iTunes and it says we are unavailable to continue with your activation at this time. I recently got an iphone 5S and my songs not purchased from iTunes are grayed out (phone only) and are skipped past when playing them through my iPhone. i have tried the following:
1) Removing all music from phone and resynced to iTunes PC library.
2) Erased phone and restored from back up
3) Erased phone and started as a new iPhone
4) Reformated the music files in my library that weren't playing
5) Deleted songs from iPhone and computer and re-imported CDs
6) Tried to redownload my COMPLETE MUSIC LIBRARY from iCloud.
7) I have also turned it off and turned it back on several times
8) I tried syncing through my macbook (only moved partial songs to it to see if it would even work).
9) I have tried to get Siri to play them, did not work.
10) All music does play fine on my iPod Touch 3rd (iOS6 i think) gen and iTunes on Mac and PC
11) I added a CD to my roommates iTunes and it plays on their iPhone 5S but not mine.
After all of these things it is now WORSE!!! My iTunes purchased songs are now experiencing the same issue along with some (not all) of the original music files that were skipping and grayed out. My conclusion is i have no clue at this point! I have done everything i have found online in EVERY discussion, i have spent over 60 hours trying to get this to work and i am asking myself, i bought this product why am having to fix this when it worked just fine on my iPod touch (3rd Gen) and iPod Classic!!!! This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.) -

I recently got the iPhone 5s and I transferred all of my music, pictures, etc. over from my iPhone 5. My music was playing fine the day I got it (2 days ago) and now my music skips, stops in the middle of the songs, or just stops playing and exits. It was just working and now it wont. What is wrong? What can I do?
Not sure if this will help but a reset is the first thing to try. To reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

i have an iphone 3gs 16gb and it is full with music and nothink else no apps or anything, ive had a few 4s but ive got an iphone 5 but the prob is that i cant back up all the music on 3gs, some is been ripped from discs i now dont have any more. ie foo fighters best ov is on my 3gs but will not download it on to da 5 or 4s ether! also some music i have payed for also will not download as well. ie. payed for a linkin park trak, but when i go into itunes and look under purchased music it will not be there. so i never sink my 3gs coz i may loss all ov the music on it. i have backed up the 3gs too the cloud and also the laptop and still nothink, i have also had a few laptops starting with an tower running windows XP thourgh to a windows 8 notebook. can anyone help?? thanks
ps when syncing it jumps through steps 1 - 4 real fast, i seem to remeber iphone showing the number of tracks transferring and names, but i see nothing? then it sits on 5 saying "waiting for changes to be applied"
