SOAP Receiver Version Mismatch

Hi Gurus,
I am have a iDoc to SOAP scenario. I have created the receiver communication channel as SOAP 1.1 in XI. I get the following error in communication channel
SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: Incoming SOAP message protocol is version 1.1, but endpoint is configured for SOAP 1.2.  This is not supported.
Please advice..
Regards,
Isuru

Hi Gopal,
Thank you. But remember this is not the namespace created under software component in IR. This is the envelope namespace "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope". Isn't this a system generated namespace?
Please advice me how to do the mapping.
Thanks in Advance!
Isuru

  • SOAP Response Version Mismatch error with SAP web service

    My company just recently upgraded to SAP CRM 7.
    The old way of creating web services in SAP worked fine, but now, there is something a bit off with SAP.  When I call the web service the send returns a Fault Event with the error : SOAP Response Version Mismatch
    I had a simple web service created with only 1 text input and 1 text output to make sure that it wasn't the parameters or return type.  I got the same error.
    Searching on the forum or the web hasn't provided with any good answer to the issue.
    Any thoughts on this?

    Your xml message is not xsd compliant...see if you can generate a xml message using your wsdl with random values, compare that to your imcoming msg..and thats your issue..

  • SOAP Receiver Adapter / Scenario calling WebServices

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to call a web service.  Configured a SOAP Receiver adapter. Message to Web Service goes fine but not shown with Checkered flag, but with icon with description "Log Version".
    In response message for the request Error Category - MAPPING and Error ID "Cannot Read Payload".
    Any ideas to clear this problem. I do have response mapping assigned to Message Interface.  Message Interface is Synchronous.
    Thanks in advance for any solutions.

    can you verify that you are getting a response..try re-routing that to tcpgw and check if content is in line with expected response.

  • SOAP receiver adapter - payload inside the soap envelop

    Hi,
    We have to send a SOAP message to 3rd party from PI 7.1. Using SOAP receiver adapter - we are trying to achieve this. 3rd party software is unable to accept payload as an attachment of the main envelop - they want it enside the main envelop.
    I tried with "Keep attachment" option - but PI still keping the payload as an attachment. I think this option is for handling "extra" attachment.
    Is there any way we can keep the payload inside the envelop?
    In run-time WB, at the moment envelop looks like
    <SOAP:Envelope xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas....
    <SOAP:Body>
    <sap:Payload xlink:type="simple" xlink:href="cid:payload-d6518670ca1311debbd9ca347000800b...">
    </SOAP:Body>
    </SOAP:Envelope>
    And the payload d6518670ca1311debbd9ca347000800b... ( again viewed from RWB) - contains the data.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <ns2:Order> ....
    </ns2:Order>
    Can we insert this payload directly inside the SOAP:Envelope body instead of a link there?
    Regards,
    Sudhin

    Hi!
    It seems to me that this 3rd party is expecting only XML not SOAP.
    If this is the case, you should use the HTTP Receiver adapter instead of SOAP.
    Some systems 'say' they can speak SOAP but they can only speak XML. Not to blame, it's a mistake many make these days.
    The only way you use SOAP Receiver adapter with this 3rd party, is that if someone from the 3rd party hands you a WSDL file.

  • CDATA element deleted in SOAP receiver adapter

    Hello Everybody!
    I've got a problem with SOAP receiver adapter. I've made a mapping for synchronous HTTP -> XI -> SOAP interface, in which the request mapping is java mapping, which produce a message like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <ns0:SaveISDocument xmlns:ns0="http://pl.optix.pl/aews">

    In CDATA is a Base64 representation of some file.

    </IMAGES></ns0:xmlDocument></ns0:SaveISDocument>
    </SOAP:Body></SOAP:Envelope>
    ... which is not correct, because CDATA tags are lost!
    Anyone has idea, how to enable adapter to process message right?
    Best regards,
    Mikolaj

    Henrique:
    As I wrote - the webservice was wrote by 3rd party software supplier - so I wasn't sure if I could change a specification at this point - that was a reason why I needed a CDATA element. A CDATA element was at entry of this webservice and I couldn't send to it my data correctly using XI. That was a problem. Hope You got it now.
    Finally I've managed the problem because 3rd party software supplier agreed to change their service and use <CDATA> tag instead of CDATA element.
    I solved the problem but my question still remain not answered.
    At OSS I was asked to upload latest SP (now I've got 12 at Java Stack).
    If this will help I'll close this thread.
    Best regards

    I am using a SOAP receiver channel, I actived this SOAP CC in ID , but when I go to RWB and goto Communication Channel monitor, found the SOAP receiver channel status is "Channel started but inactive" with a yellow triangle.
    Our XI version is PI7.0 SP11.

    Hi,
    send the first message with it and check again

  • SOAP Receiver problem

    Hi everyone.
    I'm facing a new problem with SOAP Receiver adapter.
    We have an WSDL that works perfectly using SOAP Clients such as SOAPUI or StylusStudio. End-point is HTTPS://XXXXX:XXX/XXXXX
    WSDL is like this :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    <!--  Call Adapter
      -->
    <tes:registraEntrada0Request xmlns:tes="http://testing.com" xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
      <asu_id>SIO7</asu_id>
      <asu_descripcion>desc</asu_descripcion>
      <uo_id>1272</uo_id>
      <nombre>nombre</nombre>
      <ape1>ape1</ape1>
      <ape2>ape2</ape2>
      <usu_id>virtualdesa</usu_id>
      <usu_pass>virtualdesa</usu_pass>
    </tes:registraEntrada0Request>
    Problem is when i try to use this webservice from XI using a SOAP Receiver communication channel. I get a strange error :
    soap fault: No Deserializer found to deserialize a ':asu_id' using encoding style 'null'. [java.lang.IllegalArgumentException]
    I don't know if the problem is because HTTPS. All the process has been defined correctly in XI and my doubt is about the configuration of the RECEIVER SOAP or the WSDL structure.
    Hope you can help me
    Regards,
    Inigo.

    hi,
    check out response by Ricardo,

  • SOAP receiver adapter error using Google Search web service

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to connect and old 4.5b system to XI SP16 to make it receive information from external Web Services.
    My scenario is made up of a sender RFC adapter and a SOAP receiver which is sending the message to the Google web service (http://api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl) and then awaiting a response from it.
    I'm stuck with this error: "No Deserializer found to deserialize a ':key'". The problem is that XI is sending this kind of message:
              <m:doGoogleSearch xmlns:m="urn:GoogleSearch" SOAP-ENV:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
                   <key>mykey</key>
                   <q>testing</q>
                   <start>0</start>
                   <maxResults>1</maxResults>
                   <filter>true</filter>
                   <restrict>String</restrict>
                   <safeSearch>true</safeSearch>
                   <lr>String</lr>
                   <ie>String</ie>
                   <oe>String</oe>
              </m:doGoogleSearch>
    while Google is expecting this:
              <m:doGoogleSearch xmlns:m="urn:GoogleSearch" SOAP-ENV:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
                   <key xsi:type="xsd:string">mykey</key>
                   <q xsi:type="xsd:string">testing</q>
                   <start xsi:type="xsd:int">0</start>
                   <maxResults xsi:type="xsd:int">1</maxResults>
                   <filter xsi:type="xsd:boolean">true</filter>
                   <restrict xsi:type="xsd:string">String</restrict>
                   <safeSearch xsi:type="xsd:boolean">true</safeSearch>
                   <lr xsi:type="xsd:string">String</lr>
                   <ie xsi:type="xsd:string">String</ie>
                   <oe xsi:type="xsd:string">String</oe>
              </m:doGoogleSearch>
    with explicitly declared xsi:type.
    I've tested both messages with XMLSpy and the first one is always returning the same error.
    Is there a way to make XI send an XML message with written xsi:type?
    Many thanks in advance!
    Max

    Hi Ricardo!
    I followed your suggestion to create a simple XSLT mapping program (in the ABAP stack) and I added it to the Interface Mapping in the Integration Repository. The result is exactly the soap message that the Google web-service is expecting.
    I'm attaching the XSLT code below in case somebody has the same problem... thanks again for your hint!!
    Regards!

  • "Do Not Use Envelope"  feature: WS Receiver vs Soap Receiver

    I have a scenario that I need to call web service on receive side.
    When I use Soap adapter, need to use mapping program to compose SOAP message mannully:
    Envelope
       + Header
         ++MessageID
         ++Action
       +Body
         ++FistName
         ++FistName
    In SOAP receiver adapter, I do not use PI envlope, so I have to choose "Do Not Use Soap Envelope" option.
    When I use WS receiver adapter to call the same web service, I could not find the way the Soap adapter does.
    Anyone tried to use same feature in WS adapter ?
    Thanks
    Liang

    IMO, WS adapter does not provide "Do Not USe Envelope option" in 7.1 as well in  above versions.   You might want to see other experts opinion.
